when will we get a fully evolved bug/water pokemon? why does

Ikr nincada makes sense turning into a ninjask but sux that we dont have a good fully evolved bug/ground type

Surskit is an example of the Mayfly life cycle. It's one of those few "in real life" evolutionary lines.

It starts off as an aquatic bug and then becomes a flying bug. Hence the type change for Masquerain.

It's quite a smart idea, despite the unfortunate consequences for its typing.

Well. It's "Pokémon Evolutionary biology logic" It don't sense in our Reality.

It's the basic concept that is shown (i.e. aqua bug to flying bug), it doesn't have to look identical to real life.
