when will we get a fully evolved bug/water pokemon?
why does a water strider turn into a moth anyway?
fuck masquerain
Ikr nincada makes sense turning into a ninjask but sux that we dont have a good fully evolved bug/ground type

Surskit is an example of the Mayfly life cycle. It's one of those few "in real life" evolutionary lines.
It starts off as an aquatic bug and then becomes a flying bug. Hence the type change for Masquerain.
It's quite a smart idea, despite the unfortunate consequences for its typing.

Probably in the future generations of Pokémon.

if we gave Wormadam a reliable form of recovery would it be less shit?
i could see Mega accelgor water/BugSkill link adding Pin missile to move pool
>>24978729
wormadums pretty forgettable so i dont blame him
>>24978616
but mayfly nymphs are mayfly nymphs, not water striders
a mayfly nymph would be a badass pokemon on its own, tho
>>24978538
probably a Mega for Masquerain
Drizzle
bug water
>60 base speed
min maxed aswell probably
>>24978736
i mean it's a bug worm so it'd make sense for it to learn recover since they build their houses with leaves, dirt and other shit
also Sticky Web would be very nice

And larva don't change into humanoid wasps with spears.
It's the basic concept that is shown (i.e. aqua bug to flying bug), it doesn't have to look identical to real life.
