Curselax. It's a Snorlax with Curse, Rest, Body Slam, and your choice of Sleep Talk or Earthquake, depending on whether you're more interested in hitting ghosts or damaging stuff in your sleep.

Houndoom and Espeon were pretty beastly back then too. If the game will let you (I forget if it will or not, but I'm fairly certain it does) use your legendary birds and dogs too. Raikou rarely let me down, and Lugia always served me well too. Lugia should be a tank with Recover, Psychic, and Aeroblast. Raikou just uses Thunderbolt on everything, or Roar, if you need to stop opponents from setting up.

I've been using houndoom and suicune,on my gold i have a tank umbreon too but most of the r2 cups and oponents get bullshit hax and rentals suck in the game anyway so i can't really make use of them

Yeah, Stadium 1's rentals were decent most of the time, but Stadium 2's all blow chunks. Like I said, Snorlax is probably your best bet.
