I had to take two tries against Wally because I thought I'd outspeed Garchomp the first time and I foddered a mon for no reason because I thought my Dedenne would OHKO Mega Gallade with Moonblast and since it was -Speed natured it had to be there before Mega Evolving to outspeed.

The fucker had Protect.

Wally was my absolute favorite battle in the game thus far.

holy shit, never seen a worse rng based place, real hell, they lure you with good sets in the first 4 streaks, then give you 80% of shitmons against hyper offensive mons or give you 240 speed latios

This is the team I was going to fight him with, notice how most of them have under 500 BST.

I'm still at the beginning of the game but this is what I was honestly planning on playing with thinking I'd manage fine without having to overlevel but I've since dropped Maractus, Gardevoir and Vespiquen. May actually train a Gardevoir for muh symbolism but the rest is up in the air in terms of underused favourites.

Every area you RNG a type. You can only get a mon of that type there.

Route 112 and Route 104, as examples, count as two different areas as they have completely different wild encounters. Gamefreak actually put them in as two seperate maps this time.

If, say, your Route 101 type is Psychic, you may catch from the Fennekin hordes there because it evolves into a Psychic-type.

If you catch a Snorunt when your type is Ghost, it must be female so it can evolve into a Froslass. This should provide a precedent on split evos.

You can have a slave for Sweet Scenting Hordes, but only if you absolutely have no Pokemon that can, or could have learned it under your control.

If nothing, well you got fucked over by the RNG. It might be doable considering how vast the amount of catches are.

Also though a Pokemon must be eligible to evolve into that type, you don't have to. An Eevee caught under Fire-type can evolve into Vaporeon which has moves.

it can be still handled in all the remaining battle facilities (even the battle arcade) because you can use your own pokemon, this means gimmick sets and strategies to keep the rng and ai in check

the battle factory is 50% shit sets and 50% good sets with 100% rng involved bullshit awaiting you since the 5 streak

in fact the battle factory is one of the most difficult if not nearly impossible facilities to complete with a golden print, even when a battle factory moveset and other info list exists
