The games have had a criminal lack of good fire starters for some time now. Ever since Gen 4 I never hesitated to pick Grass or Water.

The only one I don't like is emboar, because bara is a massive turn-off for me. Almost every water starter is shit though. Fuck your blastoises and greninjas.
