I can just grab it by its tail thing and mash it against concrete or something.
What about this thing?
>Literally asking to be pushed off a building
All we need to do is to push it down, just like a giant slimy dummy.
Even Magicarp, the weakest Pokemon, has the capability to jump over a mountain.
That requires a lot of energy, and with it's mass, it's splash would be worth 20 prime-Mike Tyson punches.
Believing everything the Pokedex says is like believing everything you read on the internet. If the average Magicarp's splash really can hurt anything, I think we'd have seen it by now.
I feel like gen 2 brings a lot of these, Like cmon, Sunkern, really?
Considering what the Pokedex is, in-universe, there's no reason to not take it at face value.
Magicarp can't hurt anything because literally everything else is stronger. So what it can do with Splash is just the baseline to how strong every Pokemon is.
The only question it brings is the humans not dying, but then, maybe the Pokemon universe humans are supernaturally strong too?
>Can launch incredibly hard seeds with enough force to be comparable to an attack that's designed to shove rocks around.
>Can drain your health to restore its own health.
>Can infect you with a parasitic plant that can passively drain your health while healing it.
>And like almost every other pokemon, can learn how to secret a highly potent toxin with the help of a tm.
Assuming a mon is high enough level, it could fuck over pretty much anyone in /vp/. The best someone on /vp/ could hope for is maybe fucking up a basic bug mon like Caterpie, but even those can launch implausible amounts of webbing and bite with a surprising amount of force.
I'm assuming that we're talking about just beating down mons with our bare hands. Bringing tools like knives or guns into the equation changes it a bit.
>maybe the Pokemon universe humans are supernaturally strong too?
Likely the only thing I could take, and it wouldn't be easy because it could easily paralyze and poison me, so I'd still have to be very careful.
If either happens, I'm practically dead.
Pokémon could very easily overthrow humanity as a whole when even the adorable weak mons could take any of us 1 on 1.
Even if we can't kill them all with regular weapons we'll sure as hell take them down with us.
I'm bigger than a Zapdos by several inches.
Scizor is taller than me, and Mega Scizor goes up to my bedroom ceiling and has fucking Chainsaws for hands. I dont think I can beat a Mega Scizor but i'd take my chances against an angry Zapdos, if I can avoid the beak. Also given a rubber suit.
>"This Pokémon has sufficient power to hurl a hundred adult humans."
That means a SINGLE point in Attack is sufficient to hurl one and a quarter human adults. Fuckers, even Shuckle could effortlessly toss aside over a dozen grown men.
There's literally not a single pokemon that ANY human could beat in a fight.
>le "pokedex is written by 10 year olds, it's just made up!" meme
You know, do levels even actually exist in-universe?
The anime made one reference to them, but that was when the anime group didn't really have a consistent thing going, with real aimals and all being around.
