Have a dumb webm showing off YukariP's transformation.
It also seems that now, if you let Allowance time out, it gets replaced by an ability that increases two stats (presumably Spread Attack and Speed) every turn.
Well, at least they tried to do something interesting with her.
She's probably still never going to see any real use outside of gimmick teams though.
>Not showing off her hurt animation
The hurt animation seems to be the same as the hurt animation for regular Yukari. I'll see if I can't get a recording of it, though.
Yeah, I'm not noticing any difference here. Maybe someone else can see one, though.
>She's probably still never going to see any real use outside of gimmick teams though.
I'll still use her.
Well, at the very least her sprite looks fantastic.
Looks like her wedding outfit uses it as a base.
I'm sorry for your loss anon
But the expansion isn't translated, I'm not gonna try to do that shit without being able to tell what's going on.
I checked under the truck, he isn't there, where could he be?
You and me both, brother.
Yeah, the wedding outfit uses it as a base, and when Allowance goes off it gives her four bouquets that float around her.
I wouldn't know, but if Yukari uses a different base for her wedding sprite, it seems perfectly reasonable that Tenshi could also use a different base.
120/70/70 defenses with 145 spread attack, +50% attack during genbu, 35 speed and she can put up genbu herself.
Very powerful fish.
I was able to get in once but now the bed only heals me, is this intentional?
If you're still playing the base game, pull up the gap map and cycle through the pages (A/D on keyboard, L/R on controller) to get to Yukari's house.
Beat up Ran and Yukari and then she'll unlock netplay for you.
I find it hard to imagine that many people are playing the vanilla netplay right now though.
Wakasagi is a very intimidating fish.
The advantages of never having to worry about missing leg day.
>don't want to play because I don't want to miss out on the AMAZING new storyline
>everyone will be sick of it within 6 months
The release of the full translation was the most popular this game's ever been, I'm sure it'll be the same for the expansion as well.
At the very least it'll be an excuse for the vets to come back and shitstomp on all us translation-babbies in netplay.
And there's always some people who are just plain out obsessed with the game. Hell, I'm pretty sure that in like the past month or two I've put 200+ hours into the game across multiple save files. Hell, I have like seven different copies of the game on my HDD right now because I'm too damn lazy to switch out save files.
AyaP wasn't even the best puppet in the base game and now she's been slightly nerfed ontop of it.
It's too early to say anything other than speculation right now, especially when everyone's more focused on trying out all the new fun stuff rather than the straight forward and reliable.
She already shit on everything vulnerable to focus attacks as is, losing out on the extra versatility from the spread fighting attack leaves her open to a lot more counters.
A bit better at what she already excelled at but way worse outside of it. So yeah, slightly nerfed.
Hard to say without knowing what the new moves do. I will say that Power has some very cool typing that gives her a shit ton of resistances, but on the other hand Power's stat spread is a bit spread-out. Not sure. Just choose what you want/what fits your team better.
that's why i made sure to find everything i could before leaving
now go do it faggot
If I don't come back within two weeks, I leave my hold items to you in my will.
Original took just about a year for a full translation but the guys working on it have gotten their shit together and should be making more efficient progress on the expansion.
Expect it to take anywhere between 3-8 months with 3 months being very optimistic.
The expansion adds some new touhous, a third style to everyone, makes a pretty substantial change to stats, moves, abilities available in the game, new portraits, puppet followers, and changes the story.
Also apparently the game's been coded in a way that means the TL patch as has to be rebuilt from the ground up.
>Talk to Hina thinking she'll heal my 2hus
>She deletes my Shinmyoumaru
Did you actually save the game?
I remember some poor sap in the original threads who accidentally released his starter Satori and saved, poor guy.
yeah, they'll all transfer over.
You can get heart marks on puppets (and by extension put them in wedding dresses) even if they aren't your starter. I'm not sure what exactly triggers this, but I reincarnated this Satori and took it from 1 to 100 so that probably has something to do with it.
Also for those that have been there, is there anything to do at the Lunar Capital when you first get there? I get the impression most the stuff here is more later in the game.
>Battle Tower appears to be absolute bullshit
Thank god Nether's offensively on par with pre-Fairy Dragons, so I can just use those backed up with illusion types to kill the light and dark types that otherwise would stop me. Throw enough sweepers at these and you'll win 49 in a row eventually.
just got my team style changed. No idea what I'm doing really but hell yes.
ok i downloaded this game, wtf is it, just pokemon with lolis? so far I have suika which was my starter and i think chen, but I got raped by the water girl coz I didnt train up chen and I guess suika is a fire type.
keep playing? y/n
Two problems with that:
1. Faster nether types.
2. Sound types resist nether and hit illusion for SE, so a strong fast sound type could sweep you
Also, in "this is terrifying" news, EMamizou gets an ability that removes the charge turn of moves that take 2 turns to execute. Basically it's power herb as an ability.
She learns the puppet equivalent of Shadow Force.
It's also on EMarisa, who gets not just Solarbeam, but also a chaos version of it.
Oh god, some puppets get more than 2 level 70 moves, so the dollpages thing got updated to include those. Example: Extra Ran gets SEVEN moves at level 70 (Wind God Protection, Waves of Earth, Diffusion Laser, Cross Change A Tempo, Concentrate Stance, and Astrology).
RaikoP didn't lose Brave Song after all, which combined with her getting Skanda opens the door for a double boosting moveset, RaikoA learns Will'o'Wisp without need for the skillcard, and RaikoE also learns Brave Song in case you want to try and make her actually do damage without Revolving Illusion.
Other things of note:
KogasaE learns Genbu. She also gets Curse Reversal (i.e. Pain Split) for pesudo recovery.
WakasagiE gets Local Downpour (i.e. whirlpool, who cares), Ruinous Voice (i.e. Perish Song), and... Power Spot... (i.e. WISH)
Ok, she gets reliable recovery on top of everything else she gets, I think it's safe to say that Hemo may have been drunk when making WakasagiE.
>reliable recovery in Wish
>base 145 special attack
>base 35 speed + Trick Room
>ability that makes water type moves 50% stronger while Genbu is up (ala Rain in regular Pokemon)
>only a single weakness
>gets Ultra High Tone for type coverage
Assist Cirno gets Ice Machine Gun and Butterfly Dance; so basically nothing. Also I just realized why Assist Cirno is good (priority backup plan + white mist is dumb)
Power Cirno gets nothing new.
Extra Cirno gets Shout and Shriek, so no.
Nothing for Power Yukari outside of the changes mentioned at the start of the thread. Same for Defense Yukari (i.e. 2 level 70 moves that we already knew about and that's it)
Extra Yukari is now known to get at level 70 (in addition to the new untranslated move and Glamour Panic) Mind Control, Chasing Attack, Second-hand Skill, another untranslated move, and Unstable Horizon.
It's the move named Butterfly Dance (which is basically Aqua Ring), not the equivalent to Quiver Dance (i.e. Fairy Dance). So no quiverpassing with prankster.
You will have to make do with prankster passing white mist (i.e. Tail Glow)
God, if her ability auto-induced Genbu as well, she would basically be a better Kyogre. Kyogre's speed is actually middling (90) and it doesn't get Trick Room for those ridiculous shenanigans, it doesn't get reliable recovery (let alone reliable recovery that can be passed to other team members), is about on par with her in physical bulk (100/90 v 120/70), only has one STAB vs fishy's 2, is worse defensively (weak to grass and electric with 4 resists vs double weak to poison with 2 double resists and 1 resist)...
While it's obvious that Kyogre is more overpowered, it's actually pretty close. Remember Kyogre has a BST of 670 while WakasagiE is BST 480.
I am seriously comparing a BST 480 to fucking Kyogre and it's actually pretty CLOSE.
>Nothing for Power Yukari outside of the changes mentioned at the start of the thread. Same for Defense Yukari (i.e. 2 level 70 moves that we already knew about and that's it)
So no real change then?
>Extra Yukari is now known to get at level 70 (in addition to the new untranslated move and Glamour Panic) Mind Control, Chasing Attack, Second-hand Skill, another untranslated move, and Unstable Horizon.
I admit, I still don't understand the game well yet, but does this give her some real potential?
I rushed as fast as I could. How are things looking? Tell it to me straight.
so why is this on /vp/ and not on /v/ or something. What does touhou have to do with pokemon? serious question. its not like you're making anything worse. cant really make /vp/ worse than it already is, just curious. Is touhou the new MLP?
Touhou will never even touch mlp, because it has literal no cringe in it.
Now pokemon on the other hand has plenty of that fukken cringe, maybe it is actual better, that touhou is not posted on an cringe board, it will get a bad name.
Thanks for clearing that up, also post digimon on the digimon board and touhou on the touhou board... ohh wait... right, no boards for those ehh?
That's why touhoumon type of games with pokemon mechanics is in the pokemon related board.
Then again, remember when vp was not a board, but a tons of threads on vg?
Right I do still remember.
Touhou needs it's own board honestly, but until then this stays.
I hope this clarifies that.
You realize MLP is way older than 2hu, right?
>doujinshi are canon
Well I did it, that was the hardest match in the game but with My starter Elis and Sukuna I managed to get a win.
What to do next?
So is Kagerou actually worth using now, or is she still terrible.
Looks like theres a new update for the expansion. Not sure what it changes though.
S and P both got some pretty decent buffs, took out some stats from her lesser attack spat and gave a nice boost to her health in both styles and she has more moves to work with.
Too bad she's still horrendously crippled by both her styles having double weakness to an extremely common attack type.
Extra style is yet another mixed wall with terrible damage output but she's, as always, weak to two extremely common attack types so she's completely useless as a wall and that's all her extra style can do, unless the two untranslated new skills she gets end up being amazing.
I've been here since the start and don't want these threads to go, but /jp/ is
still, sadlythe "Touhou" board. It's just we're too shit for that, and since most us know moonrunes(I don't, sadly) we had discussed this game to death before. There's only one thread for games. The rest are about Nitori's nipples and what have you not that I'm complaining, mind you.
Puppets only stay here because:
>Mods have been kind enough to not delete us, when they could if they felt like
>It's /vp/, the only boards people care less about are even more irredeemable
>We wouldn't survive in any other board
>There's not that much shitposting
Not counting new moves which I can't recognise. The highlights are:
>Cold rain (Her best water STAB)
>Energy drain (Best Nature STAB with no drawbacks)
>Ultra high tone
From TMs, there's tumble plant, which potentially be stronger than energy drain. (Ironically, in a fish vs. fihs battle, it'd be awful)
She also gets upbeat and reflection mirror, but those would be more gimmicky.
Someone fill me in if I missed any.
I got the expansion, but I can't play it. I even have locale emu and everything. I clicked the shortcut, it doesn't work. Ran it with locale app, it still doesn't work. Ran the launcher with and without locale app, it doesn't work. Tell me what I did wrong.
You got the expansion! The expansion, Anon! You need the game!!! If you don't have the game, then what you are supposed to expand upon?
So from what I can see, Kanako's new ability boosts certain moves by 1.2x, but they're boosted by 1.5x under Byakko, although I'm not sure how accurate it is since I used Google. Basically, fuck terrain related abilities, this sucks.
You are like one month and more than 30 threads late.
And we always tell you to fuck off and thread stay here regardless your bitching. You need to spend your time more wisely anon.
Before Hecatia appeared, hemo was obsessed with Waka, he even designed a functional panty for her, but his obsession with hecatia is MUCH STRONGER.
I wonder if it would be better to build YukariE bulky. 100/95/85 defenses are workable, at least on the focused side of things.
Though to do this right I feel like I'd have to understand speed tiers which are a bit beyond me.
Hemo putting underwear on a mermaid never ceases to crack me up, truly he is the best artist.
Doesn't hurt that panties are my one non-vanilla romance fetish.
oh, and if anyone was curious this is what RikaE looks like in attack form. Only difference is the ghost things, her tank costume is the same.
>You will never be so obsessed with not one, but two characters that on top of drawing endless fanart of them you'll also make your own doujin-game and make both of them stupidly good and borderline broken
>Just because you liked them
What's stopping you /tpdpg/?
Atlus also started to put panties on mermaids, also solving their main "problem" with just making her fish tail start a little lower instead of from the hips, also, why the fuck she has those floating skulls? is she trying to put a komachi?
Lack of programing skill, but at least i have a job.
How does she put the "middle" of the panties on? Sure, there's a hole for it to go into, but there's still no way for it to be put on normally like proper panties. Might as well just put on a shell if she's gonna cheat by growing her own panties.
I'm sure Hemo also has a job. He does, right?
>Though to do this right I feel like I'd have to understand speed tiers which are a bit beyond me.
You can use the Excel puppetdex to see how stats behave according to base stats.
As an example:
KogasaA (base 70 speed) needs about max Speed EVs and a Green emblem at +1 Speed to outspeed max speed base 130s (200 Speed at level 50).
Perhaps the floating skulls are supposed to be drowned souls lost at sea or something? Whatever way, that bottom skull looks like a total bro and I'd totally hang out with him.
Some sort of side tie/lock, perhaps?
...which the Teambuilder confirms.
I've been making notes on max speed for this and that, so I could maybe make a pastebin with speed tiers for max speed puppets with different base stats.
As another example, 135 Base Speed has 205 Speed at level 50.
>MFW Yukari is not a sweeper machine.
Bullshit, Yukari should be OP
Cashier at my cousin restaurant-pub, is a pretty chill job, i love working with my own family (something very normal in my country)
I feel like someone at FocasLens has a small hateboner for Yukari. Not enough to actually bring it up, but enough to be passive-aggressive.
It's okay anon, so am I. An even worse one that's 3 spaces on top of yours.
I think it's more that everyone working on the game is just terrified about making high BST units too powerful.
Mamizou is the only 550+ unit I can think of that's objectively really good and she's still only at 560.
>a creature made of pure belief
There is something i don't understand, if SMT demons (and touhou's youkais) exists because humans create them, why can't humans easily control them?
This. They somehow managed to make it so the lower BST touhous are generally the most dangerous.
Also excuse me while I try and cram electric type moves onto everything to fry Waggyswaggys with
I kinda hate how they did it. Higher BST Touhous generally have two of terrible stat distributions, poor abilities, bad movepools or a combination of the three. They could at least ease up one one of those.
Just because you're telling yourself they're weak or exploitable, doesn't mean you belive they are.
Humans control them, but unconciously and uncontrollably, except somelearn to manipulate people to their ends.
>Let's make the things with high BST not that good so that they don't break the game
>Sure boss, let's make them all with a ridiculous crippling flaw, like Regigigas
>What about the ones with low BST boss? How do we make them good and able to compete?
>Let's giving them all winning combinations. It's not like stuff with low BST in Pokemon but have one kind of REAL GOOD moveset, ability or typing is good, right?
Don't forget how having a higher BST translates into a higher cost, meaning you take more damage from Tumble Plant.
Hemo managed to take the general trend of Pokemon (i.e. the higher your BST is the more likely you are to be good) and completely REVERSE it.
Hell, the expansion went back and minmaxed some of the lower cost puppets a bit further. Forget FutoS, the real Water/Wind type to fear is KogasaS
Do people do a lot of multiplayer battles on this too?
Showdown-esque simulator when?
MomijiE looks to be a pretty damn solid mixed wall that can put back out some decent damage output, albeit she's 4x weak to fire and 2x to fight and chaos so she's going to be heavily reliant on what's common in the meta to take her into netplay.
KonngaraE is kinda all over the place and has a lot of build variety. She can be turned into a straight forward bulky offense, a mixed wall with recoil moves and curse reversal or a setup sweeper with sharp wind and she has some amazing attacks in her kit.
I think she has some serious potential especially with the added bonus of the opponent not immediately knowing what her role is when she comes in.
So I fought Aya and now I'm stuck here, Momiji hasn't moved, apparently I'm supposed to look for some bushes? I haven't seen any bushes that stand out or anything. Plz respond.
Is it just me or will SukunaD be ridiculous on a Genbu team even if she can't use the move?
I want to murder everything with the small and snuggly puppet.
>Doubles will never be in TPDP
>will never get to team up with kappa waifu and beat the shitty fairies
Puppets sorted by speed tier.
Each base speed (e.g. base 110) has a "representative" so you'll have something to relate the number to*.
Each base speed has one puppet showing full PP investment and Green emblem, one example with full investment and a neutral emblem and one example with no investment.
You'll have to do multiplication (such as Good Belt/Choice Scarf and Mad Rush Stance) yourself, but this should still be helpful, for example to see if your Fairy Fance KogasaA needs a Green Emblem or not to outspeed that one threat.
I can include the speed stats for Genbu users (E- speed) if you want me to, and if there are any puppets with weird base Speed stats (or something with 25/15/5 base Speed) in YnK I'm not aware of.
* some choices are my favourites that are lesser known metagame-wise than other puppets with the same base speed, e.g. MarisaS instead of FutoS.
There are no good puppets with 25 base speed and none with 15 or 5, so that's left out entirely.
>Her speed isn't that atrocious
75 base with no investment is 95 Speed. There are only 11 puppets in total that underspeed her.
>There are only 11 puppets in total that underspeed her
I meant 11 speed base stats that underspeed her. There are obviously multiple puppets with the same base speed.
That's what I get for rushing a post.
Her speed isn't that good either, so either way she'll be going second pretty often.
The point is that SukunaD is adorable and I love her
You should go yell at the owner of the FAQ and misc links pastebin to add all that stuff into it, he has his contact info in the FAQ.
This is pretty useful stuff to have in the OP but it's already getting too crowded for me to add yet another link to it and I don't have control of that pastebin.
I could just copy all of it over to one of my own but he's still keeping it up to date and doing a good job of it, just need to let him know about your stuff.
All the reps were just picked by glancing at the puppetdex sorted by speed, and picking something that sounded like it might invest in speed. MikoP is just because I like Miko.
I'm gonna add the E- Genbu stats first for a more complete version, and replace some of the representatives with others that are on the usage chart.
MikoP -> YumekoS for example, both 115 base Speed.
After only like ten years this Raiko has finally stopped being pissed at me.
How does affection work anyways? Do we know?
>Who's the best high BST 2hu?
SuwakoS or YorihimeS.
>Who's the worst high BST 2hu?
>Who's the worst low BST 2hu?
>Who's the best low BST 2hu?
SukunaD reigns supreme. The second best has 110 more BST than her and still less than 500 BST.
Pretty sure it's just tied solely to leveling them up based on what people have been saying, EG: Leveling a puppet from 1 to 100 maxes out their happiness and gives them a heart mark.
>people scared of a tiny fish
Why not run MaganP as an anti-Genbu team member? He's even slower than Wakasagi (base 20 speed vs base 35), has good bulk (80/105/105), is Poison type and thus has STAB on Wakasagi's one weakness, and can thus blow her to pieces and then take advantage of their own Genbu to tear a hole through the opponent's team, because base 20 speed is slower than everything outside of OrangeD and RenkoE anyways, neither of which can do anything back.
Shame he doesn't get Genbu himself, but I feel like the one thing in this entire game that resembles an actual Pokemon in appearance might be much more viable now.
Can't argue with that logic!
>go yell at the owner of the FAQ and misc links pastebin to add all that stuff into it
Added "(v1.011) Yume no Kakera Speed Tiers" to the bottom of "FOR THOSE WHO CAN'T USE PUPPETDEX."
Will probably find a better name for section by the end of today.
Renamed pastebin to "/tpdp/ - Touhou Puppet Dance Performance FAQ & Useful Links."
Will check my email and the thread as soon as I'm done with work.
For when you get back, I've made an updated pastebin of the speed tiers.
Additions include a key for reading the pastebin, better representatives of the metagame, inclusion of speed stats for E- IVs for the Genbu fans, correction of some styles I mixed up, and formatting that's hopefully easier on the eyes.
Uh, UtsuhoS got nerfed to base 90 speed in the expansion. Might be worth picking another base 100 speed instead to avoid confusion.
Thanks for letting me know, changed to NitoriS.
She has 7.5% usage, so she's top 15. Definitely worth looking out for.
For me numbers aren't translated for me; anyone know whats wrong?
"The game requires your computer to be in japanese locale or emulated via Locale Emulator provided in the download:
The expansion changes damn near everything and you have to start from scratch.
The only save importing is being able to re-obtain your puppets in the expansion's post-game if you beat the story in the base game.
Because ghosts in real life are caused by sound too high in pitch for the ear to hear.
Those tales of ghostly apparitions appearing in haunted houses? They're caused by leaky pipes making just the right harmonics of sound to resonate with your eyeballs, making you hallucinate ghostly apparitions.
Reality is weird like that.
Both attacks are high, decent other stats because of high BST, and has Air Lock too.
Raiko has basically nothing in common with Rayquaza, although Pokemon Emerald is still my all-time favorite.
No, she's still great even if you only focus on two modes, but that quickly drags her back down to being just another really good puppet instead of being the god mode destroyer of all life and creation that she could be if she could use more than 4 skills.
PuppetDB for the expansion, with base stats, typing, abilities (translated if from the original, untranslated if new) and resistances (ignoring abilities)
The untranslated entries at the very end are alternate forms (i.e. Rika in Attack Stance, the Focus and Spread forms of HecatiaE, YukariP once the five turns of Allowance have ended and she's starting to annihilate the opposing team, and then one more I can't recognize at all with an absolutely dumb stat spread and a BST of 780
>they have Kasen
DERIVATIVE WORKS CONFIRMED BETTER THAN PRIMARY SOURCES!
That last entry is Hemo's answer to the stall-is-dead-complainers, I hope your bodies are ready for a whole new world.
Probably just some kind of weird test thing or gimmick fight in singleplayer.
See when I started playing this I had no real clue what any of those were so I just picked the last one under the assumption that it had no effect and if it was a glorified "pick the starter" thing then whatever.
It did not take long for Raiko to grow on me.
"tesuto", so a test puppet.
You honestly thought Hemo would make a BST 780 puppet?
B...bullshit! the giant fish is real! i know it!
Alright, so SukunaD still largely trivializes Remilia, as expected. Remi's levels are less "fuck you" now- if you've not been grinding you should be on par with her strongest puppet.
I'm a bit disappointed that they lowered the levels... but then again old Remi with the new AI would be pretty terrifying.
Speaking of the AI, the boss battles with nuclear fusion playing are the only ones who have used it so far. The AI makes you think and anticipate, but it's not perfect from what I've experienced so far (it didn't anticipate overtake strike).
It's a shame that it's relegated to only leader battles, as having to actually use you brain in an in-game fight is a wonderful change of pace. Ah well. I'm just hoping that the approaching midgame isn't as much of a stomp as the original.
Ah, and areas have been modified as well. The forest of magic has ledges added so that your path is more directed and less "where the fuck am I". I think the Scarlet Mansion basement is unchanged, however.
True, but I would have liked to have seen other prominent characters (like Sakuya) make some use of it.
Anon, if the nerf to the main game makes you sad...you will love the buffs the postgame now has...
Well, if seems all the 2hus can appear i the battle tower...
BTW, has anybody find Flandre or she is postgame?
I didn't look... you know what, let me turn on speedhack and check it out.
Just a reminder the best team is what you find the most fun.
>Only three puppets
>on the fucking postgame
This should be illegal
WAIT! i forgot her clones, you fight 4 flandres in a row?
And if you lose, she
forces you to marry her.
She looks pretty bad at a first glance but she's still got an untranslated ability and skill so I can't say for sure yet.
They'd need to be some damn good tools to salvage her though.
Ok, so I went back to the human village after the Scarlet Mansion and Reisen was there selling dream pills for 1000 a pop. They allow you to go back to the lunar capital.
also I can't believe that added a stealth section to this game
The lack of a translation makes it difficult to figure out how to use Sagume. Due to her nature I'm guessing she's rather gimmicky. I have no clue which form to aim for.
And for those who played the original hacks: it looks like YumekoP was reverted back to Steel/Dark.
I'm guessing it's postgame. But yes, as of now they just give you the boot.
oh, and speaking of Lunarian scum, I found Yorihime in the capital. No sign of Toyohime yet.
Junko herself said anybody that is not on the side of lunarians is not her enemy.
She and Yukari are broing it up and wrecking everything in sight. They cover each other fairly well with their typings and even their base stats almost match.
Oh, you found hemo's waifu, are you going to train her?
It's tempting, but it almost feels like it would be cheating considering how good she is. Same reason I don't really like to use SukunaD.
Man, I love Junko's sprite
I won't be able to be here when this thread goes down so someone else is gonna have to bring up the next one, it's probably going to drop off about 4-6 hours from now.
It's easy shit to do for whoever feels like doing it. Just copy the OP, update the last thread link and change the "FAQ and misc links" to "FAQ, useful links and additional resources" for the big pastebin.
And don't forget the name.
Hard to say for certain while new abilities and moves remain ambiguous. But from what we have.
Go defense if you're boring and want a focus wall.
Power is the very definition of glass cannon and comes with great attacking STAB and fucking Starving Spirit (+critical nether earthquake)
Extra gives her dream typing, and if I'm remembering right her abilities give her a choice of free STAB combinations. Could be wrong on that. She has a solid offensive spread and learns sucker punch and pursuit as well.
Up to you man, whatever floats your boat.
sure, give me a bit
When you update the main post, can you clarify use of the locale translator.
"To properly display menus, the game requires your computer to be in japanese locale or emulated via Locale Emulator provided in the download. to use Locale Emulator drag and drop game application onto the LEGUI file."
If any of the other voodoo I did (downloading japanese language packs, accidentally turning all my menus into moonrunes, et cetera) is required, please clarify that as well.

Fucking hell Hemo. At this point I'm just laughing. Goddamn.
Translator Anon here to inform you of the finalized name for the new type; Henceforth, the new type will be called "Warped". We have debated this internally for quite some time, and after going over the facts and the connotations behind the kanji used, as well as the fact that the booster ability for it is called "Warped Bonus" (ワープボーナス), we agreed that Warped was the best possible choice.
Here is the type chart, as it is now presented on the wiki. There are slight changes to the type chart, such as Electric being weak to Sound, and Sound resisting Nether.
Updated the pastebin with the new Yume no Kakera type chart.
Derx, you almost gave me a heart attack; I knew I was going to miss out on a new resource in the thread.
Also, did everything got better with Mimic?
We are still continuing the translation, if that's what you're concerned about. I've discussed stuff internally with the others, and we're currently working on translating the YnK Manual. While we aren't actively working on translating assets within the game yet, we are working on revising the 1.34 translation (and will release a patch with our brand new patching system, because fuck beat), and at the same time trying to learn what we can about YnK and translate stuff externally and document them first.
Good; never liked Beat that much, anyways.
Also, good luck with the translation project and better hope that Doremy isn't hinting at another expansion release.
We all know that it's going to happen sooner or later.
Wait what the hell, the puppets overworld sprites reflect their current costumes?!
My game is seriously bugged, as this isn't the only weird thing that doesn't seem to happen in my game.
I've gotten tired of asking if anyone has compiled the images for release so I got off my lazy pso2-playing ass and compiled them myself.
portraits and overworlds, for all you people who want them, as well as for those of you who were modifying the game to change the player sprites.
someone make me a renko/maribel/sumireko set while you're at it
I'm gonna be serious, I've only been using Kanako since I'm trying to find out what she got, although I brought some other puppets with me like Seiga and Meiling to see their Extra forms. I could go back and catch her though.
Catch is that FORCES you to use Genbu first or else you have no water moves on her, which is on par with not running water moves on Kyogre in terms of stupidity. Which...you were going to do anyways 99% of the time so not like you give a shit.
So how the hell are we supposed to stop WaggyswaggyE
I stated earlier that I thought the thread was going to drop off before I woke up and asked someone else to do it, but apparently I'm right on time so I can do it myself as always.
I'll have it up in just a moment.
