Probably go through a wooded area and it opens up into a clearing. Durant show up more and more often among the Pokemon you would fight earlier in the area until all of the monsters are replaced with Durant.

Eventually you get to the opening of a tunnel and Heatmor shows up and the area around the hole becomes an arena. You have to fight Heatmor while Durant periodically leave the hole to attack you and the Heatmor.

If Heatmor catches a Durant it Swallows for health. If it's at full health, it uses Spit Up instead.

Secret post-game boss.

Although my vote would go to Giratina, and you have to venture through the crushingly hard Distortion world first. It'd be full of Master Fortress-esque versions of the game's hardest common enemies.

Also, imagine a Boss Rush Plus mode, where the bosses now have additional strategies or attacks to counter or more easily defeat you. Think Title Defense Mode in Punch Out Wii.

Maybe both could get their own levels? Hoopa could have an optional one where it robs you of all your items/lives/whatever, casting you into a dimension where you start from the base and have to go through a hellish maze of portals to get to the boss.

Hoopa itself would start in Confined form inside an old temple, and would teleport itself around to attack. It would make bottomless portals for Scrafty to fall through, drop projectiles from the ceiling, summon enemies, and mess around with the battlefield.

After defeating Hoopa it would become Unbound and start fighting more one-on-one with six arms and portals launching more forceful projectiles. The arms could be jumped on and used to get to its head which could be a weak spot.

I think Scrafty should have basic melee abilities (punching, kicking etc) that can be executed with quick combos, but he should also have Pokemon moves, which'll act like "special" attacks. Assuming these concepts are meant for the Wii U, the Pokemon moves can be executed by tapping on it on the GamePad. The GamePad's display will be similar to pic related, the "battle" screen in a typical main game Pokemon battle, with Scrafty's current available moves ready to be executed also with explanations in regards to how they function in the platformer genre. On top of this, the GamePad can also display a map of each level and shit.

Scrafty would start the game out with two moves out of a potential four. (Headbutt and Leer?) New moves can be learned by level up, TMs, and tutors.

Any thoughts?
