No Fakemon Thread on /vp/?
Why not make it then? A Thread to discuss/create Fakemon, feel free to make some fakemon ideas/concepts in this thread!
Pic related: These fakemon are Rasaur and Dorscythe, these are created by Smiley-Fakemon.
I don't complain about DaybreakM, I just like his/her Fakes. Just because I didn't post DaybreakM Fakes, that doesn't mean I hate his/her Fakes.
Have you seen his/her Fakes? These are pretty damn awesome.
Anyways, I'll dump these Fakes.
Oh I'm not talking about you. There's some anon that keeps making threads complaining about things like DaybreakM's 3-stage bird and bug lines being ripoffs of official lines like Pidgey or Vivillon simply because they're birds/bugs that are 3 stage lines.
You'll know them when you'll see them. The way they type their posts is a clear indication that english isn't their first language
This one reminds of Cactus Jack from Croc: Legend of the Gobbos.
Still a pretty neat design, I would train this if it was real.
Might as well contribute something.
Quickly made this bug or maybe/bug fairy type up the other day inspired by pillows and dust mites
Interesting concept, only thing I have to say is try creating a pre-evo for it, because it kinda looks like it has a incomplete line. As for the pre-evo, It could work as a small pillow-shaped bug.
>>20607376 already kind of seemed like a prevo/standalone to me
I think he was making a joke about the fact that they are literally made of blades, which are edged by design while referring to the tendency of other posters to call designs edgy based on non-literal reasons. He also appears to have referenced a line spoken by the character of the Joker in the 2008 film The Dark Knight "Why so serious?"
I donut know why I like this so much.
Some people toom issue with the artstyle of this rough sketch, but it's a pretty cool concept I think. There hasn't been a sabretooth pokemon yet, nor an Electric/Ice.
Gross. Ugly non-Pokemon eyes too.
Eyes are still bad but this one is better, the first two stages at least.
These are just ridiculous
First one that actually looks like a Pokemon. I like that a lot.
I guess this one also looks like a Pokemon but it sucks.
The only good Digimon are the human-like ones like Lucemon (boy version), Angewomon, Rosemon, etc
That is the one thing they have over Pokemon.
Apparently these are supposed to be starters.
I always liked this guy BR0DE0's fakemon on deviantart. This is one of his better ones.
Despite this looking like it came straight out of a Metal Gear Solid game, I actually like it as a Pokemon.
I feel it leaves the comfort zone enough without breaking the feeling of Pokemon which is what we should be looking for with "original ideas".
talking about daybreakM...
could these turn into badass starters?
reposting best grass starter final
I would like your opinion on the following concept:
Based on grappling
Wear Down - Increases the end of turn damage of trapping moves from 1/8 to 1/6 of the target's maximum HP (stacks with binding band.)
Most likely not animal based, maybe some slight mandrill/gorilla influence.
all of my wants
all of them
every last one
No one set up a proxy or something, and after the main artists stopped drawing, it just fell apart.
someone should set it up again or something I dunno
in all honesty, I prefer the poison type eeveelution of this chart
And I forget the image. Great
I actually like a lot of the CaP designs
Colossoil and Cyclohm are my favorites
Literally just repto slicer
i save it cuz i think it's great, please do more
How a coral pokemon should have been designed instead of this turd...
Thanks man. I just got done with a lot of job-related work so I finally have some free time to dedicate to it.
I drew the last form of this one on a whim, and it looked so silly and kinda stupid I love it. I'm still debating on even giving it a sparkly magic wand or something
ha, thats the legendary in a region im working on with kuroki!
Fire starters from same guy.
pic related is 10/10
I fucking love it, but there's too much shit all over it. Maybe bring the pallet down to white and red or red and black, or maybe be really sparse with one color. Very fucking nice, I'd raise the shit out of this.
Haunted chandelier that's part fire is a pretty cool idea, the keys are like, alright, I definitely would have not used that concept first over some other inanimate object Pokemon, but
What I have a problem with is the "food" Pokemon. The ice cream is floating ice cream with a smiley face. I like Swirlix though. It's like cotton candy, but like, it's not just a cotton candy on-a-stick with a smiley face, it's like a dog with fluffy fur that looks like cotton candy. Like, that's fine
except it gets ruined by its evolution, one of the worst Pokemon in the entire catalogbut food with a face and food in general imois not ok. If foodmon have to happen Swirlix is a good example. Inanimate object Pokemon I've never really had a problem with though, but we have to draw a line somewhere, a stoplight? that's retarded, come on. Sword? Chandelier? K-keys? Fine. idk /rant
I don't think it's clever. I think they just wanted to have a Pokemon that was an ice cream cone and they just thought about it for an hour about how it might make sense as a "creature" while doing nothing else besides putting a face on an ice cream cone.
If Rareware made Pokemon.
It would evolve into Clanker, lol
