Not only does this theme perfectly fit Iris as a character, it's different from most of the Champion themes being climatic and dramatic

Iris's theme is the only one which makes me feel like I enjoy battling, which is why I like it.

That's not it at all. The whole point of Iris is to throw you off. The theme is cute because Iris is a little girl who likes cute things and wears princess dresses for fun, but is actually a fierce trainer and child prodigy.

Blue was a kid champion too. Iris just revels in it much more. She has this "I'm the queen, bitch" attitude, and it's cute how she plays princess dressup while being coarse and unrefined. The whole thing is a nice change of pace from the usual 'wise old master with a hardcore theme.'
