I was wondering if we have a region in a civil war let's say the eliot four is split after the death of the champion. In this game you have to pick a side to fight on let's take shinnoh for example Aaron takes control of the south western part of shinnoh Bertha takes the southern east flint takes the north west besides snow point and Lucian takes the rest. We can change this for different gens. Any thoughts or opinions
MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODS
>>32904694
what year do those events take place on Pokémon Earth?
>>32904694
I'd like to see that hapenning, it's a creative idea. But i'm not sure about takig sides. More likely would be like team magma and aqua, two factions fighting for a legendary and power.
>hummingbird mon
>grass/flying, dark/flying, electric/flying, or fairy/flying
>okayish attacks, fastest bird in the game, very low defenses
>learns all sound moves, including bug buzz, metal sound, etc
>hummingbird moth mon
>dark/bug
>good speed, okayish defenses, okay special attack, bad attack
>mimmicks not only the bird, but it also uses hypnosis to make people/other pokemon think that it is another pokemon
>can have impostor and illusion abilities, and can learn transform
>secretary bird mon
>flying/fighting or fire/flying
>mid speed, strong physical attack
>gets kicks
Give him a dark/poison mamba rival and we're good.

Is pokemon the last game in the universe that has random encounters?
When will Gamefreak evolve past this archaic game mechanic?
>implying having random encounters is a shit game mechanic
>>32904423
Yeah because Sun and Moon which barely ran on the 3ds could support random pokemon running around the map for you to see and try to catch.
Get the fuck real loser.
Nope.
Reminder there is nothing inherently wrong with random encounters.

You hated on me, spat on me, made an example of me, dragged me down through the dirt, and subjected me to all manner of mockery for my wasteful origins.
But now...
You're in my territory...
And there's no escape.
You're about to see for yourself...
I'm no longer trash. Time to RECYCLE.
I love LC, but why do you think it's so underplayed?
Do people think it's too gimmicky?
how do i get into lc? i'm guessing things work much differently there.
Is there a definite trend toward making the biggest cities too big and impossible to navigate? Jubilife, Goldenrod and Saffron, while being the biggest cities in their regions, were never unmanageable or hard to navigate. Being in Lumiose for the first time is a very un-comfy experience. It pisses me the fuck off when there's too much exploration. There's nothing fun about that shit.
I'm the kind of person who likes to talk to every NPC in the game just to make sure I'm not missing an item or a piece of lore. But I'm finding that task impossible nowadays because the cities are just too big and finding everyone too hard. I have to resort to Serebi to find items or /vp/ for interesting trivia spouted by NPCs when I used to do it all for myself. Should they make the cities smaller in gen VIII?
Castelia wasn't even that big.
Alola kind of moved away from that. A single, big-ass city wasn't one of its selling points.
>>32904240
>Should they make the cities smaller in gen VIII?
No. What they did with Alola was bad enough.

None of those. The atrociously streamlined level design is.
>>32904218
Yokai Watch has a simpler level layout (not a simple as SM though) but each area is so full of things to do and random events, I think GF attempted this but failed.

>too many cutscenes
I always knew /vp/ had autism but this is just going too far.

Eviolite's counterpart is introduced, and it raises Att., Sp. Att. and Speed by 1.25. Below I have listed those effected most.
>>32904051
you better put torracat on there
>>32904051
No you just wanted to post Silvally in a questionable position
Pic not related by the way.
>Sneasle
Sneasle's base 95 Attack becomes like base 115, (131 if Adamant,) while its base 115 Speed, with a Speed-raising nature, becomes base 156. Weavile's base 120 Attack and 125 Speed just doesn't compete with Sneasle outspeeding everything in the game besides Ninjask and Doexys-S, although it can still hold Choice Scarf and such. Sneasle's Inner Focus is also better than Weavile's Pressure.
>Scyther
Scizor has 130 Attack and 65 Speed, while Scyther has 110 Attack and 105 Speed. These become base 149 (if Adamant,) or 143 (if Jolly.) On the other hand, Scizor can hold items, has great priority, and is a more defensive as a Steel type.
>Rhydon
This is a big one. Rhyperior generally has stats that are only about +10 higher than Rhydon's. Adamant Rhydon's base 130 Attack becomes base 175. That's higher than Rampardos and Mega Garchomp. And it still has base 120 Defense, AND Reckless. Rhydon becomes a monster like it frankly should be, although it does not get Solid Rock, is slow and can't exactly hold Assault Vest.
>Electabuzz and Magmar
Good news, Electabuzz fans, you can use it now. It has base 95 Sp. Att. and 105 Speed, which with a Speed-raising nature is 115 and 143. Fast, and you can actually use your special rather than physical attacks. Yay!
Not gonna do the math on this one but Magmortar has 123 Sp. Att. and 83 Speed. Magmar has 100 Sp. Att. and 93 Speed unboosted, so it's basically better.
>Kadabra and Gengar
Alakazam is at 135 Sp. Att. and 120 Speed. Kadabra is 120 and 105. Again not bothering with math this time, but I assume it's very fast and hits very hard. Although problematically, it can't hold Focus Sash.
Gengar sits at 130 Sp. Att. and 110 Speed. Haunter is 115 and 95. The big draw here is that in addition to being faster and hitting harder, Haunter still has Levitate.Ouch. Too soon?
what pokemon are you a slut for?
I don't know if that's Norwegian or Swedish but "slut" means end.
>>32904038
None. I rather Pokémon be a slut it for me.
Kartana x Celesteela Thread
OK.
If a Pokemon with Prankster uses Assist to call a move that has negative priority (like Avalanche), does it affect an opposing Dark-type?
>>32903785
Yes.
>>32903832
Do you have proof of that? that doesn't sound right.
>>32903785
No. The Assist had priority and was affected by Prankster, so anything that follows doesn't affect the dark type.
ITT: deepest lore.
