I want to make a team with Metagross (probably mega) and Hydreigon. I read a dark/steel/fairy core is good for team building. What fairy type do you recommend? I don't care about tiers or bans, so anything goes.
>>33097162
Xerneas
>>33097194
I thought the point of this core is to cover each other's weaknesses. Having to swap out wouldn't be good for a setup sweeper, would it?
>>33097239
What makes you think you have to stay in on the switch? What prevents you from running Specs Xern? What prevents you from clicking Moonblast instead of Geomancy on the switch? etc. etc.
Reminder that anyone who thought the "original" plot of Wes being the new Team Cipher leader in Pokemon Emoticon: Gale of Ansem was a good idea, is an absolute fucking moron and it was a good thing that they changed it.
It would have made ZERO sense for it to happen. Why would ANYONE go through the effort of defeating the organization, taking it apart, and saving all the Pokemon, just to revive the organization and then enslave Pokemon again? It's not even a Kazuya Mishima situation where they make you think he's the hero and then turn him into a villain, and it only worked in that situation because we knew none of Kazuya's motives in the first Tekken besides him wanting to kick his dad's ass because his dad was an asshole.
I hate the idea going around that Wes should have went villain in the sequel when we clearly saw his motives from the exchanges of dialogue spread out in the game.
wes was an edgelord and micheal was better as a down to earth protagonist
>>33097822
Wes's Umbreon and Espeon blunted the edge factor quite a bit. They evolve from friendship, after all. Wes also goes around saving Shadow Pokemon. I feel like he's meant to be more cool than edgy.

You now remember the opening cutscene from colosseum
>he uses earlymons in his first run
>staraptor stares in disdain
>>33096977
Some earlymons like Starly are exceptions because they are actually decent.
not my fault that the game hands you shit like Magnemite, Misdrevus, Abra, A-Grimer right at the start of the game
Do you think USUM could introduce new ultra beasts, being the first game to introduce new mons without beng a new gen?
They have Ultra in their title, so I feel they're gonna go all out with the UBs.
I think we're gonna get at least new forms, maybe "normalized" forms?
Like how the cosmog line lost Beast Boost and adapted to our universe?
BEASTS ME!
It's beast not to speculate.
I think there is plenty enough of ultra beasts but it's all about utilizing in the story not just some boring post game catching
Give each lore and individual characteristics
They tried so hard
And got so far
But in the end
It doesn't even matter
They had to fall
To lose it all
But in the end
It doesn't even matteeee-eeer...
now there's a timely reference

Y'know, I really hope Niantic can come back from this. I unironically find GO fun. It's a decent game in its own right, but content comes out at a snail's pace and then shit like GO Fest happens. It's disappointing, but I sincerely hope they get their shit together. GO has a ton of potential yet and I'd hate to see it completely squandered.
>>33096871
They didn't even tried it at all. They were just some lazy faggots who wanted to profit using a huge franchise.
There are three stages of discovery as a person plays Pokemon
1. Discovering that there are Pokemon other than Pikachu
With the television show, the video game, card game, and comics featuring Pikachu as a protagonist, it is often a bit of an epiphany for a person to realize that they have a degree of freedom with their favorite Pokemon, even if they discover this immediately when they turn on the game or open a pack of cards. This epiphany is especially strong for younger players, since age-appropriate media almost uniformly features Pikachu, and it's a bit of a leap of brain processes when they realize that even though Nintendo wants them to like Pikachu, they can like something else instead.
For some people, realizing that they can like other Pokemon or even just like a bunch of Pokemon leads them towards exploring these options, and some people even end up preferring them. Pokemon allows a degree of freedom that other games don't provide, and being able to choose from a wide variety of creatures is appealing to many people.
2. Discovering that Pikachu is the worst Pokemon
Most people find that anyone who likes Pikachu is inevitably some entry-level casual. They have one foot in Pokemon but they're not quite there; they're just fake fans that recognize the yellow mouse. Delving deeper could have unwanted consequences so it's safe to just like Pikachu.
With other Pokemon, you can like anything you like. Eevee, Charizard, etc. You can like something cute like Pikachu is or you can like something totally different.
Liking Pikachu is like broadcasting that you're just an entry-level Pokemon fan, so Pokemon fans don't like you, but people who like Pokemon also don't like you because they think you like Pokemon.
3. Discovering that Pikachu is the best Pokemon
This is a discovery that not everyone makes. Countless people live and die without realizing the simplest of truths.
Pikachu isn't just appealing to people who don't actually like Pokemon; Pikachu represents everything that Pokemon is about. Liking Pikachu correlates perfectly with liking Pokemon. Pikachu is the face and representative of Pokemon. Pikachu isn't just something that is merely a marketing or advertisement tool; delving deeper into the series shows that Pikachu represents every aspect of the franchise and embodies what Pokemon has always stood for and will always stand for.

Why didn't Misty just trade or release it?
nobody wants it, doesnt have the heart to release it
>>33096633
>Nobody wants a Pokémon that has proven to have amazing potential
Might not be good itself but it's good breeding stock
>>33096615
Because if I remember Psyduck always comes in clutch for Misty in Battles.

The corner of house. It looks much cleaner and you can see much more of the environment in the game
>there's so much NOTHING to talk about in regards to USUM news that the fucking camera angle is the only thing people bring up
Third Versions being announced and then having no news until the final month or two is still fucking stupid.
>>33096493
I think camera angle matters. What's the point of putting effort into the environment if the camera angle just cuts off must of it
I think camera angle helps with the improvements of the game
