I was watching the SM anime out of boredom and i've noticed they're using quite a lot of XY music in it for some reason.
The snowbelle city theme used for Stoutlands "death" but there's way more. I wonder if they were doing it in the past?

Yeah, they use a remix of Trip's battle theme in Japanese XY quite often, too. They also use old movie soundtracks sometimes, too. Here's what I'm referring to, though they never released BW anime's soundtrack, so rips are all we've got.

I like it, it definitely adds a new lease of life on mons like Wigglytuff and Granbull. I struggle to see the difference in flavour between Fairy and Psychic however. I try to see Fairy as like a "Woodland guardian" and Psychic as "Bender of light and space"
