Almost 5 years ago, a bunch of anons on /vp/ set out to create something special.
What started out as an effort to create a brand new Pokédex soon evolved into a game dev project the likes of which had never been seen before.
Scores of anonymous posters, all working together on equal footing to cobble together an homage to the games that had shaped their lives so heavily.
As the months turned into years, new faces arrived and old faces faded away.
A bunch of amateurs, most of which with absolutely no experience, slowly started to assemble a monument to their love for a game about collecting monsters.
We have finally reached a great milestone: the completion of our Demo 2.0. The countless combined efforts of everyone, from simple survey voting anons to masterful artists, has let us accomplish this release.

Playtime is 8-10 hours and goes for 3 gyms.

How would you make a pokemon that gains the Bug type upon evolving? Obviously not counting Eevee of course.
I'd make a Normal/Poison generic mammal whose body is filled to the brim with parasites, but it doesn't mind. It has a regular Normal/Poison evolution, but also a branched one where it forms a symbiotic relationship with the parasites, and gains chitinous armor over all its body. Type becomes Normal/Bug. It evolves by leveling up past a certain level while knowing a bug type move.

We're getting USUM news before August 9th,
possibly before August 3rd
They're going to reveal a slew of new mystery figures of merch on the 9th, one figure from Banpresto, one from Tomy, and one mystery
In the past, these mystery figures have been big reveals like Hoopa and Magearna
Since GF like to do worldwide reveals, we can assume they'll launch the first trailer of USUM around that time, featuring the new form that will be in the merch the following day/week, this also matches up with the time frame that GF and Nintendo are free to advertise USUM without competition from Splatoon 2
One possibility is that it's going to be a new form of Lycanroc, as the anime is airing a Rockruff episode on the 3rd, with both forms already in use by 2 important characters,
And in the past, they've used the anime to promote new forms like Mega Mewtwo and Mega Charizard
We can also assume they'll reveal a trailer sometime before then, which matches up with trailers released for Sun and Moon (August 1st, reveal of Alola Forms, Z-Moves and the Island Challenge) and ORAS (August 8th, reveal of Mega Metagross, Salamace, Altaria,etc.)
This also lines up with the hype cycle of Black and White 2, who had only 3 months in between the first trailer and release

Each trial lets you catch 1 more Pokémon to use in the next.
You can only use Pokémon caught on the island to finish the trial on that island.
Every trial you beat retire that Pokémon and catch another 1 + the number of trials you've defeated on that island + the island number. Use any of the Pokémon you beat on the last island to do the rival fight on the entrance to the new island, but don't do any trials with the old team.
Every grand trial only have 3 Pokémon like the leaders.
When you reach Mount Lanakila pick any of the 38 Pokémon that have beat a trial to form a 6 to take on the E4 with.
It goes like this:
Melemele
1st trial - take 2 Pokémon in and when you've beat it retire that Pokémon (level 11 max)
Grand trial - take 3 Pokémon in and when you've beat it retire those Pokémon (level 15 max)
Akala
2nd trial - take 2 Pokémon in (level 20 max)
3rd trial - take 3 Pokémon in (level 22 max)
4th trial - take 4 Pokémon in (level 24 max)
Grand Trail - take 3 Pokémon in (level 27 max)
Ula'Ula
5th trial - take 4 Pokémon in (level 29 max)
6th trial - take 5 Pokémon in (level 33 max)
Grand trial - take 3 Pokémon in (level 39 max)
