Retcon Dusk Lycanroc, introduce new Lycanroc that's more of a mix of both forms instead of just an orange Midday.
Add new Alola forms
Remove handholding and make tutorials completely optional
Hau gets the starter that has the advantage over yours
Every trainer has more than just one or two Pokémon
Turn the Volcano on Akala into an actual dungeon
Expand the water trial area
Expand regular routes and put in alternate pathways
Make trainer AI a little smarter
Change day care egg from Eevee to something not overused
Increase encounter rate for Alola mons
Decrease encounter rate for Kanto mons
Add new battle frontier on expanded Aether island
Add extra post game routes
Add move tutors
Add actual puzzles like older games had

Add PSS, DexNav, and National Dex back in, remove festival plaza and island scan entirely.

Literally the only reason alola forms were genwun only is because they released genwun on virtual console giving you a way to get the regular forms too, gold and silver has a vc release now, put two and two together
