Okay, can we finally add a fucking Celestial or Cosmo type or some shit? One could say it was unnecessary in previous generations with such a low number of mons confirmed with a connection from outer space, but in a gen with such a connection to space, I say it's about damn time they stop slapping a Psychic type onto them and call it a day. I know Psychic is the "weird/mysterious" type but just make a Cosmo type already.

We don't need any more types. Between Psychic (moves like Cosmic Power and Pokemon like Solrock, Lunatone, Solgaleo, and Lunala) and Fairy (Pokemon like Clefable and moves like Moonlight and Moonblast), "Cosmo" is already covered.
Game Freak only adds new types for the sake of balance. They added Dark and Steel to nerf Psychic, and Fairy to nerf Dragon.
They don't just add types for no reason.

has anyone had any luck on OSX running POkemon Moon? I'm literally having no luck in trying to run various speed fix downloads through Wine, so I'm asking again out of sheer confusion - what is there left for me to do/try? If I can 'build' my own version of Citra then I'm absolutely happy to do so, but at present have no idea how...

Wine is terrible, you won't get good results by going that method. I would recommend doing a Bootcamp partition and then installing Citra on that system. I'm waiting until I can play the game on my console, but I might still be able to give some advice

Ribombee would be viable if not for the BP nerf, but even when it was around, Venomoth was capable of doing it but no one bothered with it, so it probably wouldn't be great anyway. Not really sure what to do with Salazzle as of now.
