I don't understand IVs.
But you know how when you level up, certain stats go up more than others? Every pokemon has EV values that they give, corresponding to a stat. When you defeat them, they're added to an invisible counter. When you level up, they determine how much a stat goes up.
Say you fight only Machop (He gives 1 attack EV). When you level up after fighting only Machop, you'd get more Attack added to your Attack stat.

Try adrenaline orb farming, I ev trained mine in a chain of Pichus+Rockruffs, it started destroying stuff really easy after that.

Is diance even in the pokedex?

I hate that there was never a way to turn Carbink into Diancie, even if it was still an event that did it. Seems like such a waste. Maybe one day in the future if they make more event legendaries available normally like with Deoxys then we'll be able to transform Carbink into Diancie.

because she could've been? The game is great and the plot has a structure but its still not as good as it could've been. The characters are their but they are not used at all. I know gamefreak is not use to making stories (look at X and Y) but they need to step it the fuck up.
