So how should I go about getting this fucker with his hidden ability, I already chained to get pyukumuku with its hidden ability but it was fucking annoying and now i have to deal with geodude self destructing, is there an easier way?
>>30165673
Use a Pokemon with the ability damp, as for finding out when it has its HA I have no idea
>is there an easier way?
Yes you dumbfuck, get a Pokemon with Damp.
>>30165673
Just inject it
>caught Tapu Koko on the first try
>in a repeat ball
Are all the Tapus this easy to capture? I was hoping their percent would be lower. since the aren't main game legends really.
Their catch rate is 3, the lowest catch rate possible.
You're lying or got really lucky.
>>30165608
I had trouble catching Lele and Bulu, killed each of them at least twice because of Talonflame's flame body.
>>30165654
>having a Talonflame in your in game playthrough of sun and moon
What doesn't kill you(r run and your general) only makes you stronger
No one has finished a sun/moon nuzlocke yet edition

Eleven wipes
That's kind of embarassing.
Onwards with the new save anyway.
>>30165848
and i find a shiny pidgey on my way back to new bark! which i promptly have to murder because nuzlocke rules
oh boy
Do Totem battles make Nuzlocke runs essentially impossible in Sun and Moon?
2 v 1 against the grass Totem, which was two evolved Pokemon, almost wiped me.
I'm going to almost wipe or wipe each time beyond this point.
It seems like without over-leveling you're fucked.
>Gen 1-3:Within the first 5 minutes; Here's a pokemon, try not to get yourself killed
>Gen 4: 10 Minutes; Oh, here's a new feature, also here's your pokemon, try not to die
>Gen 5: 30 Minutes later; Now, we're gonna let go of your hand for a few moments, try not to get too hurt mkay? Oh, now you can catch a pokemon if you're up for it.
>Gen 6: One Hour Later; Oh, I'm sorry, did my cutscenes cut into your enjoyment? Oh you can have your pokemon now
>Gen 7: Three Hours later; Here's your first pokemon! Oh, wait, we wouldn't want you to fail, we've specially designed your """"Rival""""" to lose to you at all costs, also you're not done yet, you're going to trainer school!
Holy shit, what the hell happened? I thought I bought a pokemon game, not Tutorial Simulator 2016.

What's the angriest that this company has ever made you?
Having to pay $5 a year to use the national dex
>>30165312
I did this too. Thought it would have a driftveil PWT thing since they introduced it so early.
>>30165312
Kek, bugfags, when will they learn
My level 1 Vulpix Outspeed a Level 24 Hariyama
How fucking slow is Hariyama?
>baby fox outspeeds a giant pine cone
was it using a low priority move like revenge or whirlwind?
>>30165240
This may be a retarded question but is Sun/Moon even in 3D? My 3DS doesn't show the 3D effects, and I know its the game itself and not the entire device itself because it works for other applications. Do I need to update something?

Pokemon you tried out that you didn't expect to hold their weight
(I have a strict no items during battle rule)
>find pyukumuku while randomly surfing through a water route
>see it looks cute, why not give it a shot
>find out it doesn't have any attacking moves
>whatever, I'll keep it in the back for a while
>keep it up to speed with the other members of my team with the exp share (I'm using about 10 pokemon as of this point)
>keep leveling up, still no attacking moves
>getting suspicious at this point
>eventually cave in and go to bulba to find out what the hell this thing is gonna do
>find out it never learns any attacking moves
>i also find out that it doesn't evolve
>still keep it anyway for shits and giggles
>fast-forward to totem mimikyu fight
>all pokemon are level 36-37
>charge up beak blast with toucannon
>it mimics it
>calls out a haunter that i one-shot with drill peck
>meanwhile it beak blasts me and I die (something else hit me before that, can't remember what)
>details are a bit fuzzy but mimikyu is slightly above half health
>switch to ribombee, kill the gengar it just called out with psychic
>god damn beak blast one-shots me
>switch to sandygast for shadow ball, end up getting one-shotted my a crit shadow claw
>getting nervous now
>switch to salandit to try and pull off a toxic-venoshock
>it uses shadow claw again and I'm left at 1 hp
>it has a fucking lum berry anyway
>almost no hope at ths point, crabrawler's only move that can damage it is rock tomb
>switch to pyukumuku
>it uses play rough while i curse
>hoping to whittle it down with pain split
>both steadily losing health
>eventually killed by a shadow claw, but not before getting it to low yellow health first
>think it's all over
>innards out kicks in
>mimikyu dies
>the pokemon I never would've expected to do anything actually saved the team
>>30165136
Yeah, people really underestimated Pyukumuku. I knew I wanted one on my team from its reveal, and its leaked stats didn't stop me.
I just made do with Counter, Fightinium Z, and Toxic and went my merry way.
Alolan Raticate, it's basically Bisharp but evolves much faster and is much shittier
Mudbray/dale, I picked it up as something temporary until i got something better, but it fucking pulled it's weight, stamina is amazing
tfw the battle tree is way too hard and ev training is a pain again
Fuck this desu.
if you're not a complete retard bumbfuck, EV training is actually easier than Gen 6
>muh postgame
>this is too hard
Every single time.
>>30165179
I'm not one of those "muh postgame" people. I just want the main story to be longer.
I'm going to challenge the Pokémon League right now. Will it be a challenge for my team?
>>30165104
make sure you have lots of recover items.
Elite 4 pokemon are all level 54-55 while Kukui's are 56-58, so probably.
>he caught a male salandit
gumshoe
poliwhirl
salazzle
primeape
pancham
machop
This is my team, and I got my fucking ass handed to me by this fucker. Where the fuck did I go so wrong?
>poliwhirl
sorry, meant poliwrath since I got that bastard a water stone
>>30165037
Being garbage is where you went wrong.
Obvious, but too many fighting types.
Lusamine is going to turn you into her new daughter.
She's letting you dress up similar to your favourite pokemon this time
Which Pokemon do you choose?
It needs to be girly, post pics of the gijinka you want to look like.
>>30164985
Frosslass please
Gonna assume it's not the first time you've posted this. But you lost me at
>Allowing you to dress as your favorite pokemon
I'd rather just become a girl and dress cute in whatever and have mommy finger blast me during the night till I shive, quiver and cum all over her slinder fingers and forced to clean up her fingers while forced to take a second round of mommy finger fucking my pussy.
Just got moon, what am i in for and what should i name the female protag?
Pandora

Mabel.
>>30164977
Name her Selene
I think that gen 6 and 7 will age poorly.
Ten years later and people still think highly of games such as Crystal, Emerald, Platinum, Black and White because they were packed with content and sprite based games looks nice no matter their age.
One can turn on an old game and spend a hundred hours just trying to beat everything.
While XY, ORAS and SM doesn't have any unique content. It gives no drive to just start a new file for the heck of it.
XY and ORAS had an awful difficulty curve, so challenge runs aren't fun on them. SM has an unholy amount of cutscenes, being forced to watch them again after you already know the "story" just kills the replay value.
While you often see the likes of HGSS selling for 70, 80$, I doubt gen 6 and 7 games will retain their value in two or three years.
What made the older games special is because they weren't made with schedule on mind.
Pokemon since Gen 5 has become a yearly release.
Who cares about post-game when they can churn out entire generations every year?
>>30164935
I can see Emerald, Platinum, HGSS and B2W2 being held in just as high regard now, but I think SM will be up there depending on how well any other gen VII games are. Love it or hate it, it made some huge changes to the basic Pokemon formula to help keep the series from becoming stale. While I'm not a fan of every change, I think SM are great games and some of the most fun I've had with Pokemon in a few years.
>>30165299
>Pokemon since Gen 5 has become a yearly release.
Since Platinum, actually, though they broke that pattern between ORAS and SM.
>indigo league has been renamed Pokemon The Series: Red and Blue
