Anons, how would you feel if Game Freak pulled another Gen 4 and 1/3 of new Gen 8 Dex consisted of Pokemon related to already existing species? You get a couple of babies, 10-12 straight up evolutions of previous mons, 2 new Eeveelutions and some branched evos.

I wouldn't like it. Older Pokemon are fine as they are. If they wanna change them, make new Megas or Alolan forms.
As someone who liked Electabuzz, I really wish Mega Evolution was a thing back then. I like Electivire, but I don't like losing Electabuzz. Mega could've helped me avoid that problem.

PSA to anyone who experiences the PKHex Pokecenter Save Glitch. (why aren't you using qr codes)
In PKHex, edit the save by going to Trainer Info > Map > Current map and change it to 90 or something (HeaHea clothing shop). Export and load the save. Walk Down and you're good.

If you had Exp. Share off for a large portion of the game, turn it back on once you get to the fourth island to maintain the same level of difficulty.

You can leave Exp share on the whole game. The thing that overlevels you is exp boosts from the pokemon petting thing. I just got to the 4th island and my team are 46-52. The higher end being pokemon with lots of hearts.
