I tried training up a gastly in Sun but holy SHIT it doesn't learn any fucking decent moves at all and I had one until it was a level 30 haunter and gave up and boxed it. It's definitely a pokemon that only benefits from being postgame and having a lot of TMs.

If breeding is supposed to be the the legit and fun way to get competitive Pokemon why do most people used a cheated in Ditto to speed up the process?
If you're going to skip over the most time consuming part of the process which is getting together a 6IV Pokemon to breed a high IV one to give a decent chance of a 6IV why don't you just go the whole mile and inject?

FUCK THIS GAME. [spoilers ahead!] So after you defeat the elite four that girl ask you a question and if you say yes she takes you to a 10 minute cut scene followed by a battle with the pokemon who saves you at the beginning. Well I only had a 10 ultraballs on my so I did a soft reset, figuring the game automatically saved after the elite four fight (since it didn't ask me if I wanted to save) and it didn't. What the fuck GF? Who the hell thought that was a good idea? Now I have to beat them again and then I guess say no to that stupid fucking question, and buy some more ultraballs and give someone on my team false swipe and hypnosis. FUCK.
