Why Drowzee still can't learn Dream eater while it can learn poison gas?
Why Luxray cant learn any cutting moves?
Why pokemon without any claws can learn scratch and other slashing moves
why Dedene cant learn Dazling gleam naturally or by TM?
But there are also BAD examples of Pokemon that just learn too much:
Garchomp learns Dragon claw AND Dual Chop naturally
Oddish that learns fucking every status inducing powder instead of Echoed voice
It\s same thing with abilities. Why we just dont discard Pressure (or make it mewtwo only)
And give propper abilities to legends?
Zapdos and Raikou - Drizzle (Fuck random peliper)

Okay, before we talk about HMs, it may just be that the HMs for surf and dive teach the pokemon how to use the moves with a rider. The fish already knows how to swim, but without HM surf, it may be making maneuvers that throw its trainer off and into the ocean. It'd be even worse with a flying pokemon.

Is the Dragon type dead?
Garchomp is still good, yeah, but it's good in spite of its Dragon typing, not because of it.
It's a bulky Ground type now.

> Learns Stealth Rock itself, and is a great setter
> Powerful Earthquake
All of the best Dragons have reamined relevant by transcending their typing. Mega Mence became a bird, Zygarde is an archer, Hydreigon is a Dark Pulse spammer, the Latis are fast, bulky Defoggers, etc.
Fairy type doesn't share the same crushing offensive power that Dragons had. It's an improvement.

Dragons are dead because GF forgot how to make a good dragon. It needs to be fast, and have a secondary stab that's not fucked over by Fairy. Hydreigon, Goodra, Komoo-o are shit dragons because of that. Every other dragon is single type and slow as shit.
Garchomp is just the best Pokémon Game Freak has ever made honestly. It's stats are very well distributed.

ok, why the fuck is politoad so hard to catch in the wild? He's gotta be hands down the most difficult pokemon to catch ever.
1. He's rare as fuck
2. he only appears when its raining,
3. and the damn thing has parish song!
I spend 3 hours trying to get one of these SoB's and when I finally get it the first thing it does is parish song. I try to throw a ball but it keeps calling poliwag reinforcements....and we all die.
You have to have rain on to catch goomy and castform, but at least there are areas with "permanent rain" so you don't have to worry about it in battle (outside of Po Town). With politoad you have to fight tooth and nail hoping for a rain dance
Soundproof doesn't work. It only prevents parish song from effecting your pokemon but the politoad will still die. The only incentive to catch this thing is to complete the pokedex. Its not a particularly good pokemon nor does it hold a rare of valuable item.

You have to play through the battle with a Taunt user until it appears, it's the only reasonable way. Lapras has a similar problem since that thing has a 5% appearance rate while surfing and has Perish Song as well.

I miss the Battle Chateau. It was so comfy to level up and grind your mons there and even better place to earn money. Not to mention the Lumiose restaurants but Chateau was more flexible and you could do it at your own pace with all the writs of challenge etc
Hoenn had secret bases which also were great.
Alola has pretty much nothing. Challengers at the league are neat but get boring very fast
I hope Stars has a place like Chateau
