I like Darksilvania's designs I just feel they're sometimes a bit too complicated for Pokemon, but at the same time I can't think of what details I'd take away to make them more Pokemon-y.

How to progress in PTCGO, tl;dr edition:
>complete all Trainer Challenges (Cheat Engine's speedhack strongly recommended to speed up AI games)

>Enter Theme format tournaments whenever possible

>Instead, trade them for the cards you actually want for a deck you want to build, most cards go for like 1-3 packs each.

Had Super Mystery Dungeon did the following, it would've outclassed Explorers in most ways:
>Pacing fixed so that your ass was out of elementary school quicker.
>Ability to set the story at your own pace by being able to dick around in dungeons instead of being forced to progress the story, which would solve grinding issues.
>The above would also be helped if randomized missions from Explorers were brought back, giving players a way to grind for money and items along with Exp. at the same time.
(In Super's defense, I can see that they were trying to go through a "gotta recruit 'em all" completionist goal. Also Pokemon recruitment was guaranteed rather than some chance bullshit).

I had a similar theory, except I considered the "baby" one as the male species.
The simple reality though, is that Kangaskhan was simply made without breeding in mind. Had it been introduced in Gen 2 it would've probably get a pre-evo without the baby. There's not really much point discussing this

I've had to do friendship evos when breeding for Raichu and Clefairy, it really isn't that bad. I just give them a soothe bell, feed them a few rainbow berries, then about fifteen levels (which isn't much if they're level 1) is enough to get them to evolve.
