>Q:We noticed ORAS had a lower difficulty level compared to previous Pokemon games. What bought you to this decision? Any chance that future games will have the possibility to adjust difficulty level as seen in Black and White 2?
>M: *Raffs* Well Ben, we noticed that the average Pokemon player was to retarded to play through the game without spending a considerable amount of time and frustration on it so we decided to scale down the difficulty level. I mean you have to consider that we were getting desperate calls from flustered parents around the whole world Ben. Most of their mature sons shat their pants several times in blind rage while playing our last games so we've kinda had to adjust here *raffs*.
>Q: Why wasn't the Battle Frontier in the remakes?
>M: *Raffs* I already told you Ben. People aren't interested in such demanding and challenging game aspects anymore nowdays. I mean could you imagine any of those neckbeards actually sitting through all those ludicrously hardcore stuff we had all those years back in Emerald? *Hearty raffter* Just a very small part of the players would have appreciated and made use of such a feature and fuck them am I right? *raffs uncontrolably*

You guys don't understand anything anymore...
Let me make this simple...
"Core Pairs" sell 15-16 million copies, players include veterans, competitive, children, and casuals.
Remakes sell 12-13 million copies. Nearly all veterans, competitive, children, and casuals buy remakes. It's a game with a region fresh to children and casuals.
Core pairs and remakes cannot be too hard for kids and casual players.
Now we go to "3rd versions." These games only sell 6.5-8 million copies. The player base is mostly competitive and veterans. Due to this fact, GF has the freedom to build features that would only appeal to competitive and veterans like PWT, Battle Frontier, hard mode, gym leader rematches.
Casuals and kids always buy the core pairs with the new region and new Pokemon. A remake with no new Pokemon and a region that is fresh to them will appeal the same way to them as well. But to revisit the same region one-two years after a core pair, casuals and kids are highly uninterested in that.

Oh boy I can't wait to see how streched it is!
Anybody that can help me hack an online android game?
Why don't you just play the game normally instead of trying to ruin it for everyone else
Hey, /vp/. Anyone know of a teambuilder for gen 2? I want to get everything planned out (TMs, egg moves, etc) before the virtual console games come out.
An app would be preferable, but I'm cool with w/e. Google has failed me.
how much of a no life neet do you have to be to do something like this, even before the virtual console releases of r/b/y?

ITT: Pokemons with a huge loyal fanbase
>fans keep supporting this pokemon
>even want Sceptile in Smash
>doesn't get in
>but fans get a mega of Sceptile with grass/dragon typing and he gets in Pokken instead
What went so right? You Sceptilefags memed your bro so up, it now is on the same level with Blaziken. Shame on the Swampertfags who don't do shit.
>>33471655
Because I stuck by my bro, even as he got fucked over by the Physical/Special split, and strived to make him overcome the odds. Hell, in Gen 3 I solo'd Flannery and Winona, just to show he could, and, in Gen 4 I built him exclusively to counter Infernape, again, just to show he could.
Grass/Dragon typing should've been there from the beginning, but better late than never.
>>33471655
I'm more of a Blaziken fan myself but Sceptile has a nice design and it's fans seem to be pretty chill. I tried using it in an OR run but I didn't enjoy it much. Might be cause I'm not much of a grass fan but I wanted to try Treecko anyway. Or maybe I was just using it wrong. What's a good in-game moveset for it?
Basically, sceptile has such a nice fanbase because GF treats it perfectly. It gets enough exposure to keep it in fans' minds without being oversaturated (unlike charizard), so people don't hate it to be contrarian. It also isn't as obscure of a favorite starter as say meganium because of that exposure, so the hippiest hipsters don't gravitate towards it and love it just because nobody else does. It's a happy medium mon, so it gets fans who are quiet and satisfied.
>>33471730
The big trick to treecko in RSE and the remakes is to pair it with wingull; the two cover each others' weaknesses really well. As far as moves go, pretty much anything works. Dual chop is OK, rock tomb is good until you can get rock slide, focus blast is good if you don't mind missing, acrobatics is fun if you'd rather use a different mega, leaf blade is leaf blade, swords dance sceptile is nice in game, and you can always not evolve treecko until level 21 in ORAS, when it gets giga drain. It's definitely the "hard mode" choice though, so I can see why it wouldn't gel with everyone. It's worse in the originals, where you don't get grass stab stronger than absorb until level 29.
Landorus-T is one of the best Pokemon in the OU metagame. Thanks to its amazing combination of traits, such as Intimidate, an immunity to Ground, a base 145 Attack, and a diverse movepool, it can efficiently perform a variety of roles, easily fitting on many kinds of teams. Landorus-T can function as an excellent pivot, being able to set up Stealth Rock and check threats such as Zygarde and Garchomp while getting momentum with U-turn. Its access to different boosting moves in Swords Dance and Rock Polish and the introduction of Z-Moves also allow it to become a fearsome wallbreaker and setup sweeper, with the ability to defeat offense or stall with the appropriate move. However, Landorus-T's weakness to Ice and Water means it is defeated by common Pokemon such as Greninja and Keldeo. It also lacks any form of recovery, meaning it can't constantly switch into opposing Pokemon's attacks throughout the entire match. Lastly, its mediocre base Speed without boosts leaves it outsped by many offensive threats, such as Tapu Lele.
Have you ever just, like, give Landorus a good ol' slap on the butt? To, y'know, pay him a compliment for all the work he puts in. Ha ha.
