>evolves at level 59.
>>31198525
>Not wanting to take care of an adorable fire moth baby
>Not wanting one of the not uglier than the fucking trash bag mons from unova
What are you, gay?
>>31198599
Larvesta is one of the uglier Unova mons, it's literally a fucking blunt
at least you can't complain that it's shit like Butterfree
Hey /vp/, first time poster here. I recently completed B2 on an emulator after not playing any pokegames in a long time, it was great but I wish it was a little harder. Is the challenge mode any good? Does it actually improve trainer AI or does it just force you to grind a little extra to compensate for their higher levels? I'm interested in running a Nuzlocke, or maybe just pokemon that I've never played with before. All replies are appreciated.
fuck off gen 5 fag
GET THE FUCK OUT OF /vp/
kill yourself
So what was his endgame?
>>31198381
Crashing this game.
(laughs)
To ruin the franchise.
See RS after GSC.
What was Pokemon like Stateside before the English version of Red and Blue was released?
I just noticed Japan and the world were 2-3 years apart with the first gen.
It did not really exist, pokemania kinda hit all at once(within about 2 weeks)
Got the games when they first came out. Didn't really hit it big until late 1998/early 1999.
They weren't a thing. Nobody knew about it in the states until gen1 got English translations and the anime came out
SM's story shat all over BW's """"story""""
>>31198281
For most of the SM story you have no motivation to do any of the events yourself as they all tie to either following Lillie, saving Lillie or doing something for Lillie.
The pacing was off and the Aether/Ultra Space plot did not ness with the Island Challenge plot at all. All UBs were relegated to postgame.
In short, no it wasn't. And I don't even like BWs story that much
>>31198397
>It wasnt shat all over BWs story
what did he mean by this?
>>31198281
>>>/ATRL/
>shell out $40 bucks for black 2
>transfer all my hacked gen 4 pokemon without any problems
>shell out $10 for pokebank
>only able to transfer one of my pokemon through it
Fuck this shit. IVs are the most cancerous mechanic ever. I just want to have a good team for the battle maison
>actually transfering hacked pokemon from gen IV
In this case - just inject it, pkhex has a noobproof legal check
>>31198239
How do you mess up hacking your Pokémon that badly?
>>31198239
Just inject lol
event when?
>>31198220
probably soon. if they didn't have plans to release it before remakes/third version/switch port then they wouldn't have bothered adding the marshadocite. it was the same deal with hoopa's bottle and diancie's mega.
>>31198220
In about two years, right before the next generation, and they won't admit it exists until its movie is announced.
>>31198220

>Sun and Moon only has 4 route themes. One for each Island.
Just watch. People will try to defend this.
I can't it is pure lazyness
/vp/ will defend anything
>Sun and Moon are the only games besides gen 4 that day/night themes for most locations
Just watch. People will try to defend this. You can't, it's pure lazyness
just accept that Red,Blue Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed, LeafGreen, HGSS, BW-BW2, XY-ORAS are complete shit because of that
XY are better than SM in every way EXCEPT for little quality-of-life/ UI updates. Prove me wrong.
>>31197885
Well, sure. XY are the best first-of-their-generation games in the franchise.
Trying to fit a genocide plot into an E-rated game known for being especially kid friendly was a disaster.
>>31197885
It's arguable tbqh, although Gen 6 online is certain for better than Gen 7 online.
ITT your biggest personal issue with sun and moon
>that stupid fucking outfit and song for riding pokemon
>>31197864
>30 minute cutscenes when i just want to play the fucking game
>exclusive clothes
>>31197888
>dyes cost 100 berries or 100 fc assuming you can even find a person that has a dye house
>not even half the amount of clothing that XY has and its all summer shit despite the champions room literally being the top of a frozen fucking mountain and your character shivering while standing still outside the league
>Rock is such a shitty type that the game acknowledges going from Steel/Rock to pure Steel is an improvement
>>31197690
>head smash STAB
good meme tho
>>31197690
Doesn't an NPC compliment the Rock Kahuna for being good despite using such a shitty type?
Why is rock weak to grass again? Only moss can grow on rocks.
>Gen I

Competitive elderfag here who started with GSC
Gen 1:
>freeze wars
Gen 2:
>dude skarmbliss XD
Gen 3:
>still skarmbliss, ubers is actually a playable tier now. Deo-S being allowed in OU was fun.
Gen 4:
>Overall the most varied and competitive metagame, even if stall was a little busted. Dragmag was fun.
Gen 5:
>le weather wars face
Gen 6:
>Momentum: The Experience
Gen 7:
>metagame is still volatile and new, most new pokemon are ass because they're so slow but terrains are an interesting mechanic at least.
What went right?
>>31197480
Diamond and Pearl are awful.
>>31197494

Generally not a fan of the idea but if it went in...
Get rid of poison immunity on the defensive side as well as super effective against on offense.
It seems like a generally defensive typing, much like existing poison, so 4 resists and an immune with only 3 weaknesses is solid. 2 super effective offenses, against common types with few weaknesses (elec, fairy) would be ok for a defensive typing.
