Thank you GF for this riveting new feature!
You ask for more difficulty and GF puts it in the wrong places. Can they do anything right?

Doesn't most status stop it from calling for help?
Hey /vp/ what's your favorite region when it comes to the starters?

UU and RU are looking fun this gen. SM OU is honestly pretty ass, even compared to ORAS.
t.1600 in SM and ORAS OU
Get fucked shitnaughtfags.
Since you started playing Pokémon, which STARTER do you think you've developed the best relationship with and thus could reach an Anon-form?Bonus edition: describe how it would change
Mine would be Feraligatr. Back when I started playing Pokémon in gen 1 I couldn't decide which starter I preferred, Bulbasaur or Squirtle. But when I got gen 2 games it was always Feraligatr. I think I have picked Totodile at least 20 times over my lifetime of playthroughseven though nowadays I prefer Typhlosion.
Anon-Feraligatr would be a darker blue, it's "plates" would be dark and his fins would be spikier and also black.too much autism?
>>31239389
Battle-Bond Blaziken would just be absurd.
yeah too much atusim anon, i really want to post here but i'll wait for more anons to do it first before i drop my autism bomb about my best pokebro
>>31239389
Typhlosion with Thunderpunch was my ace back when I first played Crystal, so maybe that Battle Bond would boost the power of Thunderpunch? As for looks, lightning being weaved in with the fire from its mane.
Why the fuck did they do this lads? What a load of bullshit.
Crabrawler and its evolution are my favorite pair of Pokemon from this generation anon, maybe you just have bad taste.
>>31240870
Crabrawler should have been single stage.
It's cool that they're using more unique type combinations, but crabominable is straight ass butter.
>>31240976
>Crabrawler should have been single stage.
You should just get over it
>the next remake starters are probably the sinnoh's starters
>>31239293
Wow. How'd you figure that one out?
>>31239293
Hey Empoleon's pretty cool, if only for his typing, but I personally think his design's cool too.
>>31239317
Agreed. Of all type mixtures, I always thought that empoleons typing should of been water/ice. Because you know....he's a king/emperor penguin.
>tfw despite beedrill getting a huge buff in the mega speed change pheromosa completely outclasses it
well, it'll be the pheromosa of uu i guess
if it ever releases
252 Atk Adaptability Beedrill-Mega U-turn vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Mew: 340-404 (84.1 - 100%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO
252 Atk Life Orb Pheromosa U-turn vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Mew: 307-367 (75.9 - 90.8%)
Its U-Turn is actually stronger and that's the move both of them use the most often. Beedrill also can't be worn down by LO recoil or Poison (it'll also absorb toxic spikes which is always nice to have,) though it is weak to sneaky pebbles.
The speed is so close and so high it doesn't really matter, it won't make a difference in most matches.
Freeing the moveslot from protect also lets Beedrill use its vastly superior movepool (which might change when phero gets move tutor access, but we'll see.) Toxic Spikes are super hard to fit on a HO team but it might be viable on beedrill. It can also run Knock Off and Drill Run simultaneously. Endeavor might be a cool meme after you take a couple rounds of stealth rocks.
>>31239487
>Beedrill use its vastly superior movepool
I'm not knocking anything you've said, but I love that this is something correct. what a time to be alive.
>>31239487
Who knew min-maxing a Pokemon would make it fucking great.
How do I make a physical attacker A-Greninja work, /vp/? I got a Jolly one and I wasn't aware that it wasn't nature locked. Or am I fucked?
>>31239106
Wait for move tutors :^)
>>31239106
>I wasn't aware that it wasn't nature locked
You are not the only one. Fuck...
Also, I got a Jolly too.
I got a quiet one.
ITT: Post a set that Verlisify would make.

You've been spared a lot of pain and suffering. Don't search it. Stay gold, Ponyta.

Best game ever, right guys?
>>31239054
now that the new game feel has worn off, I don't really consider them to be the best in the series, but they're definitely within my top 3. so much improvement over gen 6except for wifiand so much fun in general.
>>31239151
Go back to Showdown you fucking smogonfag. SM are the best games in the series and are perfect in every way. Now suck my dick, nu-male cuck.
ok

>Mega Charizard Y was an absolute menace in the alpha metagame, and its life didn't get any harder with the shift to beta. It sits at a good Speed tier for a wallbreaker, boasts reliable recovery with excellent special bulk (for example, Choice Scarf Hydreigon's Dark Pulse doesn't even 2HKO), and has no safe answers. Sun-boosted Flamethrower/Fire Blast and Solar Beam are incredibly hard to play around, and Charizard's third move can be tailored to pick off whatever would-be checks that it wants to. Dragon Pulse hits Latias, Hydreigon, Salamence, and Dragonite; Focus Blast 2HKOes Gigalith and Snorlax; Air Slash is a viable option for opposing Fire-types and good overall coverage. The only true counter is Blissey, which only fits on passive stall teams and doesn't need too much chip damage to lose. While its Stealth Rock weakness is hindering, reliable options for hazard removal such as Latias, Scizor, and Starmie are available and effective; Charizard can even switch in comfortably on most Stealth Rock users, such as Metagross, Cobalion, and Krookodile, as they set up rocks.
>Kyurem-B is another Pokemon that is incredibly difficult to handle. It boasts so much raw power that there are no safe switchins to its Choice Band set alone; even the bulkiest of Steel-types such as Cobalion can be 2HKOd by Outrage. Its Scarf set allows it to work as a strong revenge killer and still proves difficult to answer defensively due to its amazing 170 base Attack stat. And even though these two sets are really all it needs, Life Orb sets make absolutely certain that defensive teams can do nothing whatsoever to stop it. These attributes coupled with its decent speed and ridiculous natural bulk let Kyurem-B simply win games on its own.
>Baton Pass was unbanned at the start of the generation as we inherited OU's clause, but it has proven to be an even bigger problem than it was in ORAS. As teams such as Hikari's Scolipede + Necrozma (see the bottom of this post) demonstrate, this strategy can win on match-up alone a lot with there being very little viable counterplay. Scolipede has plenty of other options for recipients, and with the possibility of running Substitute, various attacking moves, and Spikes/Toxic Spikes, it's incredibly difficult to stop from doing its job. Scolipede isn't the only abuser, as Celebi, Decidueye and Mew could pass other stats such as Attack, Special Attack or even Defense, allowing a variety of Pokémon that are completely fine otherwise to become overbearing. Despite being more match-up based than either of the other two quickbans, Baton Pass is anything but a shaky gimmick and has proven to be a rather reliable strategy due to its sheer number of great match-ups, and is very hard to account for in teambuilding.
>>31238901
No shit, Zard Y is an OU mon that's only been pushed down because current OU might as well be Z-tier Ubers
I wish they had left dry Baton Pass in as a momentum gainer.
Long ago in a distant land, I, Anon, the shitposting master of mememons, unleashed an unspeakable evil. But, a foolish trainer wielding a magic Aegislash stepped forth to oppose me. Before the final blow was struck, I tore open a portal in boards and flung him into Showderp where my memes are law. Now, the fool seeks to return to Smogon and undo the future that is Specs Weedle.
