its official. we all knew it deep down, and now we've got the poll to prove it. Platinum has lost its standing in the top 3 pokemon games list. looks like it's going to sit wih Emerald in the "shitty but nostalgiafags like it" category from now on.

So, after using a stopwatch for a little while, I've determined that losing a round of Battle Royale with explosion / momento / self destruct takes an average of 4:30, and awards 1 BP. Winning the battle royale takes 9:00+ and awards a scant 2. Winning 1 round of Battle tree takes 8+ minutes and awards 1 BP until the AI does it's cheating bastard thing. Please for the love of Mike tell me there is another fucking way to earn BP. Just trying to get the destiny knot so I can start breeding on earnest, because, between all the megas and bullshit that this game is throwing at me, I'm this close to chucking my 3DS against the wall.

>decide to make a team with mons i like just to start playing Bank OU
>team is Talonflame, Honchkrow, Zapdos, Toucannon, Braviary, and Grumpig
>i have a few battles
>despite having only shitmons on my team, i actually beat most of my opponents on the low ladder except for one, and some people even forfeited
>i decide to have one more battle
>opponent found
>he sends Charizard
>i send Grumpig
>Charizard mega evolves and uses Dragon Dance, Grumpig uses Clam Mind
>suddenly, out of nowhere, the server disconnects
>my net is pretty good, so it literally disconnected out of nowhere

Now he problably think i was scared of his super cool Charizard, BUT IT WAS THE SERVER'S FAULT
If Grumpig fainted on the third turn (it's a bulky one), i could have finished Charizard with Talonflame, Zapdos, or Honchkrow, but no, Showdown is so bad it disconnects with no reason whatsoever. He was probably an edgy 13 years old that loves the Once-ler from the new Lorax movie. He probably laughed at my fave and felt smug about my "forfeit", when it wasn't my fault.
If you're reading this, please, hear me: Not all Braviary fans are like that. Actually, no true Braviary fan is like that. If you have disconnected at least one time in your life, then you're not a real Braviary fan, only a poser. True Braviary fans love Braviary for its courage and majesty, and want to be just like it, so they always ask themselves "What would Braviary do?", not wanting to disappoint Braviary. Braviary would never quit a fight, so no true Braviary fan would quit a fight. Unless it's a stall team with Chansey, Toxapex, Sableye, Gloscor, and other things like them, because not even Braviary likes battling against stall. Stall fans have fun by making their opponents mad and wasting their time, so the best way to fight stall is to run away from it.
Please, forgive me! I don't want to give Braviary fans a bad name! You can battle me again if you would like.
