>wants people to stop injecting
>makes people want to inject by locking items behind tedious procedures
what do they do this?
>>31599425
>Hackers wanting everything spoonfed to them in a game where the point is to catch and raise your pokemon
Might as well go through the game with a lvl 100 mega fug, jesus christ
>>31599425
>makes people want to inject by locking items behind tedious procedures
Source = Your ass.
>>31599515
Source=but muh "I cant take 30 minutes out of my day because I have work/responsibilities"
Yet you had time to hack your 3DS and have time for online battles, the only reason to inject ever.
Not even a genwunner, but is Red the better written pokemon character in all history?
>>31599413
They really fucked him up in HGSS with the "...!"
>>31599431
I don't know about that because it's development.
Then BW2 came along and he went
>...?!
>>31599413
>"...!"
What did Red mean by this?
>there are people on /vp/ RIGHT NOW who think [MUSTACHE]-type doesn't have precedent
>there are people on this board RIGHT NOW who think [JEW]-type doesn't have precedent
>>31599389
Kricketune should be Mustache/Sound t b h, also they should scrap the Bug type its pretty dumb lmao
>>31599415
Bug type is even worse than Fairy type as a concept to be quite honest tbqh.
Fairy can double as some sort of magic.
Bug bite? More like bitch bye.
What went wrong, and will it ever return?
>>31599375
I wish it would. The dream radar/dream world are fun and interesting concepts.
>>31599375
It was an interesting way to get Hidden Abilities, and the Dream Balls looked cool.
However, like most new concepts Gamefreak tries to squeeze into every generation, it was underutilized and didn't really reach its full potential. One of those, great concept, shitty execution type things they're famous for.
>>31599375
>morning sun solrock and moonlight lunatone are DW exclusive
WTF
What the fuck is this guy doing behind the counter in the Aether house that's essentially an orphanage? Is he the caretaker or something? Did Aether really just put some ape in charge of the place?
Well, it IS one of the most intelligent Pokemon
to be fair that's smartest thing Aether has ever done
Haha, I don't know.
Even though it's objectively the weakest starter besides maybe pre-contrary Serperior, I still loved the challenge of fighting through Johto with him the 1st time.
Who was your favourite green companion?
>>31599355
>Mfw Meganius was not actually that shitty mon than i thought.
Surprised by a lot also Cyndaquill just does nothing and can be easily countered.
>>31599494
I was talking about rival Cyndaquill.
I believe we can all agree that Chesnaught is the only objectively shit grass starter.
Everything in this image was, at some point, the final stage in its evolution line.
All of them have since gained evolutions, implying they were previously incomplete.
Statistically, it's hard to argue this isn't the case.
Design-wise, how many of them do you think needed a more "finalized" form?
Also worth noting this image would be much larger if I included everything that got a mega, ech.
>>31599354
The ones that look like they didn't need an evolution are Dusclops, Rhydon, likitung, seadra, and chansey.
>>31599354
Of those I feel golbat, piloswine, and murkrow are superior to their evolutions.
Crobat- purple is nice but the blue felt fitting, no vampire fangs sucks.
Mamoswine- the lack of the littke tuffs of hair covering its eyes makes it less cute and charming then its earlier prevolutions.
Honchkrow- ignores the witch aesthetic of murkrow and goes for a mobster look. Not terrible but lacks the sillier charm of murkrow.
>>31599354
Scyther was the only one that looked better than its evo. Anything else is purely opinion.
Literally my mom KLK reference.
Wasn't this posted earlier
>>31599320
Edgy bird waifu.
>>31599329
It's just your imagination.:^)
Just a reminder that THEY. FUCKING. KNEW. what the next gen was going to be based on since XY was under development
Did we get another hint on Sun/Moon? Not for remakes, new gen.
Yeah, they knew, but that wasn't a hint. That was nothing. It doesn't even correspond to a particular pokemon.
I had suspected that for ages since I played through xy, I'm just disappointed you get nothing from transferring it up to SM. As for actually seeing any notable hint of next games in SM, I haven't. The landscape in SM is barren, cities are small, and I didn't see any kind of weird item around. Maybe there's something hinting to next games in the library but I wouldn't remember.
>>31599266
Well it's a game series that's been running for 20 years of course they're gonna do some planning ahead of time fucking idiot.
>>31599232
because he's a big proud boy and you're calling him "female"
>>31599232
She's angry at GF for not giving her Boomburst (yet?)
Because people keep calling her a he.

Hey, /vp/, can you help a guy out? I'm looking for scans of these old Master Guides. I actually have every issue of them at my dad's house somewhere but I haven't a clue where, so I'm looking to fill the gap in the meantime with the scans.
I'm sure we've all seen the hilariously bad tips from the first issue from a day when NOM didn't really understand the mechanics of the game (advising you to use the Master Ball on Fearow, for instance, or causing a whole generation of British children to use the Down+B technique when throwing a Poké Ball) but the magazines themselves were amazing, the walkthroughs were basically Bulbapedia before Bulbapedia.
They covered a range of games from the original two right up to Crystal and Stadium 2, If it helps, here's the issue listing and what's on the cover:
* 1: Pikachu on a blue background (RB)
* 2: Pikachu on a red background (RB)
* 3: Pikachu on a purple background (RBY, Stad)
* 4: Pikachu on a white background (Snap, Pinball, Stad, RBY)
* 5: Mewtwo on a purple background (TCGGBC, Puzzle League, Snap, Stad, RBY)
* 6: Lugia on a silver background (GS)
* 7: Ho-oh on a gold background - this one is actually titled Pokémon Monster Guide with more of a focus on the Pokémon than on walkthroughs (GS but also includes RBY Pokémon)
* 8: Suicune on a blue background (Crystal, Stad2)
As far as I know, that's the lot.
I can't offer much in return, but I can offer a .pdf scan of the first issue. Hopefully this will tickle a nostalgia bone with some of you and, for those of you who haven't seen it, you may like what it offers. Note that issue one is a bit more basic than some of the issues that followed!
Apologies for the ludicrously lengthy Mega link.

I have the Lugia guide as a PDF. I loved these as a kid, I read mine until they fell apart.

Great. Now people are gonna start nagging about Delphox just because you paired it with waifumon.
>>31599173
I was fucking your mother in your bedroom
>>31599173
explain?
Is there a SM save floating around with all 802 Pokemon (and the forms that matter) that are all legal (except obviously Marshadow)?
I'd like to have all Pokemon available to me for testing reasons.
Bonus points if they have competitive sets too.
>>31599148
Literally the first result in Google. Gives you an entire dex with copy/paste sets from Smogon
>>31599202
