Hey boys, I'm back
I used to frequent /vp/ a lot through high school (fuck the mods. I'm in college now so I'm good) and was here up until a month or so after SM's launch.
I've since been in a better place, not worrying about this hellhole and what new bullshit was being cycled. So, what'd I miss?
I doubt anything important has happened, but I'm gonna get back into pokemon and thought I might as well check on in.

Don't worry Gen 10 will be a reboot with only 151 Pokemon
Though some of the originals will be replaced with Pokemon from later generations, for example, Mankey and Primeape will be replaced by Riolu and Lucario, and Poliwag family will be replaced by the Froakie family

Let's say Gen 5 WAS the "new" Gen 1 it was supposed to be. A new start for the series.Gen 5, 6, 7, and 8 could've been the American-region equivalent of KantoJohtoHoennSinnoh. I could see them being
>Gen 5 = NYC
>Gen 6 = Texas + General Southern States
>Gen 7 = California
>Gen 8 = Alaska + Pacific Northwest States
I also think if this had been the case, there wouldn't have been such an immediate jump to complete 3D. That's just my idea, though.

Assuming your on the latest update and don't have CFW I would suggest getting Homebrew via SoundHax and running the region free launcher so you can run US games on a PAL 3ds (This works for sky3ds too, I've tried it myself in the past and it works)

SM is a masterpiece, I feel I can safely say, a milestone in the Pokemon Anime history. Much like OS, SM brings new light and brilliance to something we didn't know could exist. It brings pure comfyness and comedy and an excellent array of characters to keep you hooked.
What's so good about it you ask? Why's this anime good enough to be deemed a milestone. It's simple. Ash's personality. His character posses such a strong charisma that you can't help but feel attracted and entertained by him. Lana, Mallow and Lillie along side him complete an incredibly well written group.
Enough rambling, the story is awesome. Don't worry about the ratings though, that makes the anime more interesting.
The Animation is top notch. There's one episode where a particular character is walking and the legs move perfectly. Beautiful fight scenes (though these are short and infrequent) too.
The sound/music is pretty decent, with the opening and ending pretty catchy. Nothing amazing though.
I only gave the characters a 9/10 because there still isn't enough information given about everyone to really get to know the character. But, Lillie is probably the most better written character of all times (Yes, I'm not kidding).
10/10 for enjoyment, without a doubt.
If you haven't picked this series up, do it now. It's one of those "must sees" and you will not regret it.
