That's the only hope I have left. It also reminds me Gen 6 was so bad because it didn't have a third version and the remakes were awful and didn't build off a third version unlike HGSS.

Dungeons, gyms, complex (relatively speaking) routes and puzzles are always the highlight of Pokémon games.
Story is not necessary whatsoever, exploring and moving around the world and maps simply for the sake of it is fun enough in itself, and the presence of a narrative hurts that.

Yes, I agree, more detailed lore and plot can certainly be the kind of thing you have to seek out. But I still think that some sort of basic narrative is important, and enhances the experience. It doesn't have to be too in-depth, but there should be something.

Is there a region deadlier than Unova? Why does it feel like all the designs are so hardcore? Even the trainers were aged up because little kids would be eaten/killed horrifically
>Going out for a stroll and accidentally stepping on a stunfisk and dying
>Giant mushroom pokemon that trick you by looking like items to lure you in before poisoining you
>Bipedal polar bears with cubs roaming around icy areas
>Pirahnas and huge soul stealing jellyfish in the water
>Liepards and Zoroarks roaming around playing cruel tricks with illusions
>Monstrosities like giant electric lamprey eels, living poisonous Garbage piles and 10 foot tall centipedes
>Whatever the fuck Bisharp is supposed to be is horrifying
>Walking in cave and get impaled to death by a falling ferrothorn
>A chasm like desert in the middle of the region with crocodiles that swim in sand and literal mummies looking to mummify you
>Scrafty are legit punks that mug people in urban areas

>Two legendary trios with openly resentful pokemon that spitefully go after human beings

Introduced in 2nd gen, it's only grown more and more powerful.
Gen 3 gave it an amazing ability.
Gen 4 expanded it's movepool ten-fold.
Gen 5 gave it friends and partners to destroy anything.
Gen 6 Mega, new way to play for pure power.
Gen 7 Nothing new but still going strong.
7 weaknesses, lesser pokemon would keel over. Slow but truly bulky, and can still outspeed many pokemon. This pokemon stands the test of time and time again and again.
Is there a pokemon with more fucking balls than Tyranitar?
