People were banned for playing online before the official release. Playing online is fine now. Nintendo has stated that bans for playing online early were permanent, though your mileage may vary.
The .cia files uploaded by Lurantis are effectively the same as the new ones and the files on Nintendo's servers (legally bought digital copies/FreeShop downloads)

Just copy and paste one of the patched code.bins into SD:/luma/code_sections
Hold select when booting Luma to open up the config menu, turn on "Enable region/language emu. and ext. .code" and press start
>HBL (New 3DS only, otherwise use Luma)
Extract the patched code.bins and rename them to 00175E00.code for Moon and 00164800.code for Sun
Place it in SD:/hans/
Start up the homebrew menu and open HANS, open Pokemon through it.
Finally, use the in-game QR scanner and you're golden.

Sans had like 1 HP but you could literally never hit him until the end of the fight. Shedinja has 1 HP and you can only hit it with attacks of 5 types (assuming you don't bring weather, status or hazards on it)
If OP wasn't talking about that then I don't know what the fuck they were onto.

Which Pokémon would /vp/ like to see redesigned?
That is to say, a completely new design with a new ingame model and animations to accompany their redesign.
The main condition is that the new design has to be recognizable as the old deal, so no changing, for example, Crabominable to look like a crab slash Mike Tyson hybrid and nothing like the old Crabominable. That also means that it has to keep its color scheme, including its shiny's color scheme (for example, Charizard can't be pink, even if it's the shiny that's changed)

The rowlet line is great. The only reason there's so much "owlfag" hate and "comedy relief owl" and "numale" memes, is because they were introduced in the same gen as "barabait tiger" and "waifubait seal". The rowlet line would generally be appreciated if it was from a different gen. Prove me wrong.
Protip: you can't, stupid barafags and waifufags. Just because your starters are complete trash it doesn't mean i should be ashamed to like the only decent starter in this gen.

So i'm playing platinum and i'm at the elite four and lucian's gallade is fucking destroying my team every time. Do i need to grind more?
My pokemon are
Krikitune: level 51
Noctowl: level 50
Lickilicki: level 57
Mamoswine: Level 52
bastiodn: level 53
and porygon z: level 55
His gallade is level 59. I'd normally just take it on with noctowl but it has fucking stone edge and on the off change he misses even with a critical air slash only did a little over half his half. It then uses it's sitrus berry, knocks out my noctowl and uses drain punch of the rest of my team (except for krikitune which it uses rocks on)

This thing has insane special defenses, and the light screen mr.mime puts up doesn't help. I managed to get off a dark pulse on porygon z and it did so little it was maybe and 8th of it's health bar. (I didn't realize fighting resists dark and that it'd be neutral damage otherwise i'd have just used tri attack)
but yes you can get hyperbeam pre-elite four. it's on sale in the vielstone department store.
