I've finally managed to get a 50+ win streak after RNG Tree.
I got RNG'd a lot but so did the computer, which was surprising. I also didn't really look up what pokemon were in the battle tree so there were some things that I didn't see coming. But for the most part, me making stupid plays is why I ended up eventually losing my streak.
Here's my team:
Tapu Koko @ Choice Specs

Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD

- Bullet Punch
- Swords Dance
- U-turn
- Superpower
So I start with Koko, because he has the ability to volt switch and can move first and can volt switch out if the matchup is bad, or switch straight in to intimidate if it's a ground. Koko also stops yawn stupidity from happening. Everything else is self-explanatory (this entire team is desu).
Here's a heads up if you want to use a team like this. After a while, the tree will specifically start sending Draco Meteor/Sludge Bomb/Blizzard/Fire Blast Goodra + Mega Ttar at you. So be careful when switching to Salamence.

Nah, atmosphere plays an important role too. HGSS for instance has top tier sound design, which pays attention to the little things like the crashing of waves and how steps sound. Additionally, the story is less epic in the original meaning of the word. Battling gods and saving the world from devastation is the opposite of comfy but chilling with your super long ancient god of another dimension is.

The last main series pokemon game I played regularly (~twice a week) was Y. Exploring the Mirage Spots in AS was a sore, probably the lack of charm in the region looking back. I sometimes open up S to get some money/FC for the few clothes I have yet to buy, but nothing else really. I've lately felt like I'd be up to getting the Tree stamps though, considering I had time to get the camera one.

Post trivia about the games you don't think is common knowledge.
Here's a long one:
>It's possible to transfer missingno through the time capsule to GSC(where it will turn into a Pupitar upon transfer) as long as it's the Kabutops fossil missingno and it was caught with an Onix or a Geodude/Graveler/Golem.
This is because the only things the game checks for before allowing a trade is that the pokemon has the correct type and is level 100 or below. The fossil and ghost forms of missingno take their base stats, starting moves, and type from the pokemon who's data was accessed last, and the Kabutops fossil missingno's index number corresponds with Pupitar, which is Rock/Ground type like the pokemon I mentioned above.
This doesn't work for the Aerodactyl or Ghost forms becuase their index numbers correspond to Tyranitar and Lugia, and nothing in gen 1 has type combinations that match them.
This is the only way to successfully transfer a missingno.(Aside from using arbitrary code execution, but you can do nearly anything with that.)
