I'm here to discuss topics about Pokemon itself. Whether it's a thread about a specific mon, or a thread about competitive, maybe a thread about what kind of real world concept people would like to see used as a bases for a mon next gen. I understand what you're getting at OP. Things have been negative lately. I feel like XY and ORAS were good games. Not the best, but not the worst. Post Game isn't everything. If the journey was fun and engaging than that alone makes a good game in my book. Sun and Moon weren't though. Lagging during battles, cutscenes out the ass, the first third of the game is a handholding tutorial.

We know GF can make good games with plenty of content to spare. They're proven this with Emerald/Platnium/HGSS/BW2. It's mainly annoying to see how they've somewhat regressed content wise moving onto the 3DS era compared to what they've managed to achieve in the DS games to satify most players. ORAS was almost there but sadly masuda fear of iphones ruined things and sun and moon somehow managed to be worse than XY and ORAS outside of the story and overowlrd overhaul. Not even mentioning the mess of join avenue and the butchered online and the lack of PSS and O-powers and post game grinding outside of the E4. Pelago was nice along with the removal of HMs obviously.

TLDR: They could put a bit more effort into things.
