I want a United States game. It wouldn't be the entire United States, but it would be like Alola in that it would be a series of separate regions accessed by travel, in this case train. You'd have Unova, another area based on the south with swamps and the Florida keys, another based on the Pacific Northwest with mountains and dense forests, one based on the desert with Monument Valley and other canyon areas and one based on Southern California with a Los Angeles bootleg and sandy-yellow beaches. They'd function the same as the Alola islands, only they wouldn't be islands and would be larger, being accessed via train stations.

This is why I laugh so hard when people call. Sun and moon slow because of scene.

If your biggest complaint was that it was slow, that seems like something that would certainly be fixed in a remake, right? One way to look at it is that it has a lot of room to improve the small problems that stifled its potential.

They put so much love and effort into BW2, yet it sold so bad. Nowadays ever game sells millions anyway, they still have mostly standart Pokémon quality, but they never really try to be their best. Sad.

I think it sold well for a "third version" in proportion to the original games, didn't it? Like, by the metric of "sales of Emerald compared to R/S, Platinum compared to D/P," etc., it was a better than usual third version, I think.

Not like that's the most meaningful statistic, but it shows that the concept of doing a sequel was sound. It was just a lowered baseline by being the second Pokemon generation on a console, released well after the DS's successor was already out.
