Has anything been changed in this release mechanics wise? Wii U game felt incredibly unbalanced.Like attacks did way too much damage, and some characters like Braixen, Chandlure, and Suicune had movess that were way too easy to spam. If you got combo'd then it was basically all over.
Please tell me the Switch version is going to be better because the Wii U version is just frustrating to play.

Just my onion, but I wouldn't play Timer Ball over Evosoda. I much prefer the guarantee of one over the chance of two when there's also a chance of zero, and in general try to absolutely minimize the reliance on flips, especially in a deck as clunky as Greninja. Acerola also seems an odd choice when you're playing something that has to evolve two or three times all over again, you could just play a Max Potion for healing when you've got energy recovery with Starmie. Might also be worth trying to fit a third Rescue Stretcher in there, or even a Super Rod. With so many frogs more recovery is always nice, and the Super Rod could be handy if you have Staryu or Starmie prized.

Tbh, gen 6 has better designs that gen 7. Gen 7, at least in terms of Pokemon, is very generic. I mean, if they weren't official, I'd think they were fakemon that lack that typical Pokemon Spark.

ITT post what you would like to see for a new region for the Switch game. I think there should be less oceans, and the urban areas should be expanded upon. I would like to see a "city" that is bigger than a few houses, kind of like Castelia or Lumiose, but more high density and full of life. Also sunsets.

There should be a Gym in an area 51 laboratory which after you beat it you get the "Switch Sucks" badge which proceeds to auto self destruct the Switch you're playing on with the power similar to a hand grenade, usually resulting in permanent body damage or death.

-Make a hub-like city that makes Lumiose look like a playground.
-Pokemon should have an on-screen presence. Just do away with random encounters. Make them formless blobs (a la Zelda 2) if you have to if you want the encounter to reveal all but random encounters are dumb. Repels are still a thing though.
-Character customization runs a bit deeper. Your character's age can range from 11 to 19. Height can be adjusted to your preference as well.
-Ride Pokemon no longer require that gay ass suit. Incidentally, Ride Pokemon can now be categorized by attribute rather than just function (i.e. Rapidash and Gogoat are faster than Tauros but can't break rocks. Golurk can walk on pointed stones but can't dash. Starmie turns better than Lapras but speed is harder to control, etc.)
-Assist Pokemon (PokeHelper?). Think Pokemon functioning as key items to help you progress areas. Muk can detoxify hazardous areas, Magcargo can melt icy walls, Excadrill can tunnel through certain rocks, Shedinja can function as a ghost detector, etc.
-Pokestar Studios is back. Now more cutscene-y than ever.
