Has anybody noticed that Whimsicott has
some pretty racist choices behind it? I mean, it's a cotton Pokemon with brown skin exclusive to black version, the one Pokemon game (along with it's counterpart) set in New England? Not to mention that Whimsicott's white version counterpart is a Southern Belle. Exclusive to WHITE version. Damn tho it's real as fuck in the Pokemon world.

They're not even bullshit.
They're the simplest way to include some reality without ruining the game as a whole.
If you could control when your Pokémon happened to hit them in a weak spot and cause more damage, they'd just be basic hits because everybody would go for them.
RNGing them makes it much more satisfying than trying to do some kind of real time nonsense which will always be a fail in games. Or makes it a gimmick you risk losing over for trying to set up. Either way much more fun than any other way of doing it.
The games have MANY problems, but crits are absolutely not one of them.

While it wasn't that noticeable in Kanto when Togepi hatched, as we got into Orange Islands and then especially Johto...Misty's personality completely changed.
She pretty much lost all her temper and feisty personality quirks, then started becoming motherly and soft-spoken. She basically also stood on the sidelined cradling it all the time so she barely got any focus in episodes outside of the few fillers the writers gave her. The thing is why couldn't she keep most of her older personality even after she got Togepi? Did the writers think what they were doing was good?

It should have been:

And yet it was reversed? Why? Platinum is a precious metal like Gold and Silver. Crystal (leaded glass) is a miscellaneous material used in jewelry like pearl (substance from animal source) and diamond (a rock).
There is no reason or rationale for fucking up the naming this badly. It is an embarrassment and a permanent stain on the series.
