What is /vip/'s favorite brand of potato chip?
Post a bag of your favorite

I can't stand potato chips.

Have you ever been a part of any of the "movements" started on 4chan?

Closest would be the Habbo Hotel raids. I think those were funner than the raids nowadays because unlike the current raids, Habbo Hotel and Second Life raids really had no agenda other than to cause chaos and humiliation. The current raids are completely politically motivated. Stealing Shia's flag would be funny if it wasn't a fact that /pol/ are huge Trump dick riders.
As for GamerGate, I was part of it if only as the "anti" side. It's not to say that I thought gamers should just swallow whatever journalists pumped out. I knew gaming journalists were agenda driven and cared very little about video games as a hobby.
But I also knew they were hemorrhaging readers as streaming and YouTube was steadily taking their viewership. GamerGate only gave them a resurgence of attention, and the reason why all the attacks against GG was so credible was because idiots like Ben Spurr already set the precedent with his own game featuring Anita Sarkissiean or whatever getting physically abused.
But they were so far deep up their own asses they refused to listen. Their form of "debate" was "if you disagree with me I win". As for the idiotic notion that if you ignore them they win, I tried over and over to show that they were already hemorrhaging viewers. They were too busy making video games the sole purpose of their existence though.
Credit given where it's due, GamerGate's early victories did make numerous gaming sites revise their ethics policies and disclosures. As for dangerhairs' games bombing, that was the matter of their games sucking dick, and evidence of how powerless the gaming blogs actually are.

Not that I can think of other than getting caught up in the shitstorm in the summer of 2009 or so when everyone who liked weird niche pages like "Brock Obama and Amabo Korb" on facebook so to speak was a complete asshole to each other. Whether or not it was related to 4chan, I don't really know but what I do know was that it was incredibly chaotic either way.
Fuck is going on here
What the fuck is gondola doing?
>>59341
Neat picture.

sitting down
so paying with credit is the worst way to buy a pass, right? Anonymoose is going to hack this site eventually and that card is fair game, right?
Because that's what I did.
>>59259
Credit cards tend to have superior fraud protection so you should be fine.
>>59259
use vanilla card or crypto

What the fuck is wrong with this leaf country? Where did all of our value go?
PAPER
MONEY
>>59332
Paper money? Money worth the paper it's printed on? Wow! What a great scam!
Be honest with me guys
did you guys like the merge boards?
and do you want some of them to stay?
>>56954
It's not that I liked them so much as I think 4chan has too many boards and too many moderators. There's a balance between on-topic and fun, but the staff lost their way about five years ago. That's why /sp/ is awful now and both /b/ and /pol/ haven't been fun in years.
It's the natural order of things: we came from SA and look at them now. Eventually happenings will stop... happening... and this site will enter a slow decline until there's nothing but us bitter oldfags. Maybe that's decades away, but people are going to go where they can be themselves. moot knew that, which is why moot is kill.
And no, bitter extra-chans aren't going to amount to anything. They'll always be cheap knockoffs (irony, I know) and those communities are always full of empty niche boards that never build new communities.
>>56957
>/pol/ haven't been fun in years.
Did you miss the past election in it's entirety?
>>56957
You don't limit yourself to one board. Why limit yourself to one website? I keep tabs open on various places to fill my entertainment needs even if that includes lesser image boards. When you are ready to jump then you will already understand the culture.
Since when the fuck have there been ads between pages in infiniscroll mode?
I've had a 4chan pass for the last several years, and this is the first time I've noticed this bullshit.
The fuck?
Ublock Plus, haven't seen an ad in years
>>59001
I'm using Adblock Plus and same for me. If Adblock Plus stopped working I would switch to Ublock Plus. Either works really well.
>>58999
The fuck is infiniscroll?
But the bigger question is; there are people that don't use the catalog?
If you could turn invisible and/or bulletproof, what kind of depraved shit would you do? Would you fight crime, become a crime lord or just have fun doing depraved shit?
I would wait when people are walking alone and just tap on their shoulder. When they turn around I would laugh really hard to freak them out since they can't see me. I am not very malicious.
>>55559
Rape.
Think Hollow Man.
>>55559
Bulletproof isnt that useful
Feel free to dump your own original art...
I will probably end up taking it and doing my own edits on it and re-uploading it in this bread.

Alright /vip/, I'm kind of a sneakerbro, but not those fags that pay a fuckton of money for mint condition air jordans from 1998 or whatever.
I'm mostly into skate shoes (DCs, Osiris, Etnies, etc) and I'm into trading with sneakerbros of similar interests. Don't you fucking judge me.
Well, sometimes trades are made with the caveat that the trade is temporary. Most of the time, it's a permanent trade or purchase - PayPal, Bitcoin, whatever.
I've been dealing with this one stupid fuck, where I told him it was a temporary swap and I reserved the right to reverse the transaction at any time and he agreed.
Fast forward to a year later, he tells me that it was a permanent swap and that's why he sent me two pairs for my one.
I have his kik and home address and short of driving halfway across the country (I'm in Texas and he's in Delaware), I don't know what to do to get my shoes back. Chalk it up as a loss? He keeps insisting that it was a permanent trade and he finally relented a few months ago saying he'd send them back when he was done with them. Today, he told me he's not ready yet and I've just written it off as a loss at this point.
I guess I just needed to vent.
Pic related. It's the shoes I traded and want back. They're super old and they're not sold anywhere anymore.
>>58697
>Chalk it up as a loss?
Yeah, I would say so. It sucks, but you probably should have made sure the guy was legitimate before sending him the shoes.
>>58698
We had made other trades in the past without any issues. I don't usually trade with someone who I don't know, or haven't been introduced by someone else I trade with.
Write things down next time and keep a copy each. It might seem excessive for borrowed goods between friends but it's easy to misunderstand or remember wrong the little details.

G'day, my fellow /vip/ers.

You did it wrong. Fedora tipping is a practice reserved for the uncool, and Jigen is the epitome of cool.

4chan... has changed. It's no longer about an endless series of proxy battles, fought by mercenaries and machines. It's all about nations, ideologies, or ethnicity.
The more you take of me, the more you leave behind. What am I?

Nothing?

Correct!
Can we please have a second level of 4chan pass which removes the advertisement?
I'm talking about appnext in particular.
What if I told you there was a way to remove all the advertisement on the internet?
Just use adblock
If you bought a pass you are supporting 4chan that way
Only problem is that it blocks banners as well(if anyone knows how to allow banners please tell me)
