Reminder that if you don't play the original games, you're casual scum who can fuck right off the edge of my dick.
6th for realistic expectations....

Is there a holiday break from school? Can't wait for you faggots to go back, if there is.
Why hasn't there been an SMT basketball game yet? It could be like Blood Bowl, but good.
>Summoning Shiva on your team for four-armed quad dunks
>Alice gets the special skill Dunk for Me? immediately setting the ball up for an alley-oop
>Odin's Thunder Reign electrifies the floor, temporarily stunning any player not in mid-air, regardless of team
Nice Watamote reaction panel. Saved.
As thanks, have this reaction panel in return.

OH BOY GOODBYE PROGRESS, TIME TO PLAY CODEBREAKER AND VIDEOPOKER ALL DAY
You missed the point then I'm saying it here. People here act like any P4 talk here is out of place. Yet they start stroking themself off into their own mouths over P2. P2 is not any magically more relevant than 4. You're going to have to come down one way or the other.
There is but Persona talk is also allowed here, otherwise there wouldn't be detailed info about the games in le pastebin. /pg/'s just to contain le waifufaggotry and other, more extreme cases of autism.
I didn't say anything about the P4 cast in relation to the P2 cast. Yes, the P2 characters have more depth than the P4 characters. But that's not really saying much; I think every game I played in 2014 had more in depth characters.
>I think every game I played in 2014 had more in depth characters.
You must have incredibly low standards then considering how all-around awful games were in 2014. Then again, I guess having low standards makes sense when you like P4.
P2 has some gems like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cuDLn7uQNUQ
>full cast of one-dimensional cardboard cut-outs
They all get actual character development and improvement as the story progresses, as opposed to only once, then staying the same, a la P4.
Try saying that when the whole town
literally becomes a spacecraft via the power of rumors
I'll give you that, some of the dungeons were annoying as fuck.
Looking at you, Quest Dungeons, Taurus Temple, Abandoned Factory, Mt. Iwato, and Smile Hirasaka.
>People here act like any P4 talk here is out of place
Waifu shitposting is out of place, which lots of P4 talk happens to be. Any non waifushit is free for discussion.
I refresh /smtg/ and the only activity is this shit? Come on. Surely there's info on where Kaneko's will is or Break Record shit to talk about instead.
I unironically prefer Persona 1 over any other Persona. I don't know if that's because P1 gets Zelda 2 levels of "IT'S SO BAD" when it isn't, or if I'm retarded. Both isn't out of the question either.
P2's character development isn't really anything that major. They're all the same characters until Mt Iwato, then they change. There's a little bit during the temples but those are the only major pieces of development
they just forgottwist was bullshit. At least Final Fantasy 8, who pulled the same twist, had a legitimate explanation for it, that it's memory loss due to GF exposure and junctioning. Which you do shitloads of throughout the story to break the game.
WHY DO NO LEWDS OF HER EXIST?!
>P2 is not any magically more relevant than 4.
No-one out of /smtg/ gives a shit about P2, hence why people talk about it here (because there's people to talk about it with). Sort of like every non P3/P4 SMT game, actually. And even then people come here to try get actual gameplay advice on P3/4 so there's that.
It's fair enough to argue P2 is overrated (I love it and I'd agree it is), it's a bit much to say P2fans are cancer and are killing the general or whatever the fuck.
Just put ".tumblr.com" after each name.
>kanekocribs : blog that looks at the sources Kaneko uses for designing various demons, and examining how much he strays or sticks to traditional depictions
>dailymegaten : SMT fan comics
>artemis-maia : reblogs lots of art, sometimes posts articles on symbolism
>megatenn : bunch of people already recommended it, go to it
no but seriously do you think she's actually sexually conscious enough to do it
is it even a sex thing for girls? some probably just like how it looks and feels, i guess. i'm not a girl.
in SMT I i'm at the part where
i need to rescue the heroine from getting executed. when i'm almost done killing the 2nd wave of soldiers, a white flash briefly flashes and then they ALL respawn again with full health, all 8 of them. is this supposed to happen?... it literally keeps happening no matter how many times i kill them.
i'm using snes9x with the latest patch that fixes the bugs
I actually just beat Raidou 1. Truly a spinoff of smt because it didn't feel very smt-like. I liked it a lot though. Shame i wont do any of the side stuff i missed like alice because i just wanted to beat the game so i could play 2
>What the actual fuck is even going on anymore
The cry of every single retard who didn't pay attention in DDS sure is an ugly-sounding one. One of the game's major themes and plot points is reincarnation, something thatr it hinted at subtly throughout all of the first game, and more blatantly in the second.
Mutal karma lets you share the exp to other members in DDS1 right? Whats the point of having to have it according to tips and tricks if I only plan on using heat and argilla the whole game?
>Not using everyone equally
But to answer your question; party members can leave the party at times, throughout both DDS1 and DDS2. Mutual Karma is so that other party members you do not use do not fall behind in levels if/when this is the case.
I never had much of a problem having incredibly under-leveled party members in DDS1.
When I was at the end of the game gale and agrila were 20 levels behind everyone else.
>serph has left the party
Well fuck you game, I just got enough money to get dark leader.
I do too, but that doesn't stop the Great Will from forcing us to one day have to get crap like that.
I'm saving up for a PS4 just to get P5. Or was it PS3? Whatever I'll get it.
It's coming out on both. PS4 will very likely have the superior version because more to work with but that doesn't mean the PS3 version will be in any way bad. From a technical standpoint I mean. The game itself might be horrible who knows.
Nayoa path at the first time is the hard mode of the game.
Focus on Mag for a easier time. I did go with str/agi for the first time, you just need to set up demons focused on magic on MC team.
I thought Gideon was promising SMT1 PSX? Whatever, I don't care. You seem to be more reliable.
Is there any chance in hell SMT2 on PSX can also happen? The dialogue boxes in that game are fucking unbearable.
It sounded like he was talking about PSX, I thought Debisama was PSP. But looking at Wiki, not PSX version exists so fuck whatever.
Hmmm yeah, you're probably right. I remember him saying something that contradicts these posts. But whatever, we'll see.
Yo, if it isn't my favorite demon, i love you Alice.
They should just make you heal to full health at the end of every battle. You're going to heal up anyway, so it'd just remove the tedium!
It's people like you who are killing SMT.
Is it viable to go wizard mode with Serph in DDS and learn all the offensive magic, or should I be going strength with some support like in Nocturne? I avoided going wizard in Nocturne because of how the skill acquisition system worked, but it seems possible in DDS.
It's an easy trap to fall into.
On one hand, reshuffling skills only requires patience and gets old very quickly, but being able to throw any skill you want into the result is too easy and makes the demons seem less personal.
It would be best if players were allowed to pick skills manually with some restrictions in place. Either through a cost system so it's impossible to load up on the overpowered stuff or incorporate inheritance tendencies again (a fire demon would be able to get any Agi skills but couldn't learn any Bufu or go up to -dyne level spells in other elements)
You can do whatever you want honestly, going full str is nice for Hunting and spreading AP around with the AP Divide+Iron Stomach+AoE Devour skill but in no way required. Just get yourself a map of the mantra grid for DDS1&2 so you know where the kaja and kunda skills are.
Doesn't Q have something similar to this? For example I was able to choose my skills but only from a set pool. I remember Impure Reach being the one that pissed me off the most near the beginning when I was still getting used to the game.
Luck in DDS does the usual stuff like increasing item drop rate and crit chance, and it also increases the chance for ailments to stick on enemies.
Agility increases your dodge rate (by a small but still noticeable amount) as well as reduces the chance of enemies launching ambushes on you.
LU is especially good in DDS though because the general increase to item drop rate means enemies are more likely to drop shit like Cells and Noise/Data items, both of which are very important. AGI is just good all-around.
>Stare down Isabeau
>"I won't die by the hands of a fellow Samurai!"
At first I agreed with based Lucifer and didn't give a shit but in retrospect that was kind of a radical and graphic move all things considered.
Tbf she did sit on the fence the fickle lass
C'mon, there isn't "that" much autism here
tumblr is for faggots that are too retarded to figure out how to use pixiv, because looking for stolen Japanese fanart is the only reason to use it aside from the underaged Gaia-tier humour, and even then said fanart likely isn't full res and is probably edited.
Then it's their loss for being such failures as human beings.
