Is it viable to go wizard mode with Serph in DDS and learn all the offensive magic, or should I be going strength with some support like in Nocturne? I avoided going wizard in Nocturne because of how the skill acquisition system worked, but it seems possible in DDS.

It's an easy trap to fall into.

On one hand, reshuffling skills only requires patience and gets old very quickly, but being able to throw any skill you want into the result is too easy and makes the demons seem less personal.

It would be best if players were allowed to pick skills manually with some restrictions in place. Either through a cost system so it's impossible to load up on the overpowered stuff or incorporate inheritance tendencies again (a fire demon would be able to get any Agi skills but couldn't learn any Bufu or go up to -dyne level spells in other elements)

Luck in DDS does the usual stuff like increasing item drop rate and crit chance, and it also increases the chance for ailments to stick on enemies.
Agility increases your dodge rate (by a small but still noticeable amount) as well as reduces the chance of enemies launching ambushes on you.

LU is especially good in DDS though because the general increase to item drop rate means enemies are more likely to drop shit like Cells and Noise/Data items, both of which are very important. AGI is just good all-around.
