The IT never do anything wrong on the same level as SEES though. SEES have teamkiller, heiress of corporation that covered up other member of team's father's death, coverup of teamkiller's mom's death, accidentally summon Nyx, kill MC's parents by way of explosion, ect. The worst the IT do is the Namatame thing, and most of what constitutes shitty behaviour from them is usually harmless. With SEES shitty behaviour gets them in danger or killed.

But SEES do have teamkiller, Junpei's envy of the protag at the beginning has him rush into danger, they do accidentally summon Nyx (who wouldn't have been able to come if SEES wasn't killing the fullmoon shadows), Aigis sealing death in MC, and the relationships between some of the characters are pretty strained, notably Yukari and Mitsuru. The immediate personal stakes for SEES being shitty is higher than the IT's fucking around, so I find it strange to say they have things to 'answer for' other than the Namatame incident.
