Why did you let the last thread die?
And why haven't you created a new one?
Damn it murrica, it's like you don't love Liz
It's late in 'merica land. What about the rest of the world doing their part?
First for Rosalind

I blame the people not discussing the topics brought up in the thread.

So, what's Elizabeth's favorite scent?

I think it's the sweet scent of violas

How would /bsg/ feel if Bas had multiple endings?
>>89264568
Multiple endings, same fate
Her death was inevitable

It would be neat if going non-lethal actually did anything like the game implied that it would.
What kind of panties do Lizzies wear?

It's all Euro/bsg/'s fault, Liz. Besides, would Comstock want you to go against the very nation that once held Columbia so close to its heart?

>>89261412
>But even as we’ve made huge inroads into our design, even as we work on our prototype, there are days when I wonder: Will it be fun? Is there a there there? Even if there is, will the audience give a shit?
Yeah, that's what I've been thinking. Creating a narrative that changes dynamically through a player's choices is hard enough. But taking it and turning it into a game is even more difficult. It's like those features they planned to incorporate into Bioshock 1 but were cut because, while they were pretty cool ideas, they added nothing to the game experience.
It's entirely possible Ken's "Narrative Legos" could fail and that dynamic story telling just isn't worth it. What then?

>It's entirely possible Ken's "Narrative Legos" could fail and that dynamic story telling just isn't worth it
I can see where Ken's doubt is coming from. But I think we have plenty of proof in the open-world genre that dynamic narratives are appealing and can be accomplished. But I suppose in the worse case we simply get an ambitious, if someone linear, game. I'm fine with that.
>>89300928

Bold choice. Let's see how it plays out.For real though. I'm interested in seeing your continued progress.
>>89314054
I see the resemblance, so good job.
But it looks tiny. How tiny is it?
>>89314054
She looks a little short and squat. Liz is more slender than that, bud.
>>89314216
I only played the original bioshock
Are any of the sequels actually good
>>89316262
They're great in their own ways, but neither of them have truly lived up to the first game.
>>89316262
Shouldn't that be for you to decide?
I enjoyed them.
>>89314405
>But it looks tiny. How tiny is it?
It's 32mm scale miniatures.
Here a pic of Lis, Eleanor and Sally.
>>89314478
>She looks a little short and squat
It's a byproduct of using a 28mm heroic scale miniatures as the base model.
>>89317381
Oh, it's Rapture Liz. That explains the dress.
And here's the rest of vidya based projects. The cyberdemon is from Reaper Miniatures the rest is scratch built / converted from a variety of different minis.

I'm legitimately confused by the existence of these threads. Like, it was a great series, but you can maybe play through it 3, maybe 4 times without knowing every single detail of whats going to happen. How is there a general

>>89356757
I-I dont think any of us are beauty experts.
Look where we are man.
>>89358804
Yes? If this isn't the go-to place for beauty, then I dont know what is.
>>89359291
What I mean to say is none of us know fashion terminology.
>>89360226
I do. I work in the cosmetics section at my local Walmart, and while I'm not terribly interested or knowledgeable about what various products are for, Elizabeth has taken quite a fascination to them and thoroughly enjoys it when I get a cart of returned products to handle in cosmetics.

>>89366286
Name one instance that isn't a creepypasta where a tulpa has severely affected a person's mental health.

>>89368646
I'm trying my hardest to be understanding, but I cannot accept that person forcing tulpas down people's throats without even talking about the pros and cons.
>>89372987
Have you talked to him in the steam chat or privately?
Im sure you both could learn a lot from eachother without this needless back and forth between you two.
>>89372041
Let's see. On-screen, she's killed Songbird and her father twice; once to kill him in a million million universes and then for the second time for the hell of it. She has definitely slept with as many men in Rapture as she has killed. And she lost her sanity at the end of it.
I'm sorry to say it, but I don't think little Liz is so little anymore.
>>89375082
She's been through a lot, but Elizabeth isn't a sexual deviant.
>>89375082
Booker died because that's what he wanted. You can't hold it against Elizabeth for killing Songbird either. She was defending herself and Booker out of necessity. Songbird wanted nothing but to keep Elizabeth locked up and he was willing to kill anyone that stopped him.
>>89378139
>>89378139
She got her outfit from a sex shop when she arrived in Rapture. She got the job with Cohen through his casting couch. All of this in the beginning of the sexual revolution, in a city where you could express your sexuality like nowhere else. How could a messed up girl with major daddy issues not become a deviant in such an environment?

So are you all willing to admit that this game's plot is a hackjob created by a jew in order to make braindead plebbit pseudo philosophers think it's deep?
No, really, I'm asking an honest question. Every since the day this game came out and I received no end to the arguments that I just did not understand the plot after very carefully explaining how the plot does not follow any form of sequential reasoning or logic and contradicts itself repeatedly.
I am honestly wondering if the delusional fanbase have noticed the glaring flaws in the plot yet.
>>89476426
Yes, there are flaws in the storytelling.
But for the most part, it's just too deep for you.

Robert gave Anna over to Rosalind and Comstock, who then raised her as Elizabeth with the intention of having her take over Columbia after he would die of the cancer brought on by Comstock's excessive usage of the Lutece's tear machine.
>>89480842
Anna is Booker's daughter.
Elizabeth is also Anna.
>>89481036
>>89481092
so like when elizabeth kills booker/comstock at the end and there's infinite universes is she just forever going to keep booker in all those universes or what
>>89481187
The ending of Infinite basically erased all instances of Columbia and Comstock from reality. Booker now safely lives with Anna in New York in all of the remaining universes.until Burial at Sea throws a wrench into the whole thing
>>89481302
but booker died? just like dont get baptized nigga. just walk away. should I just watch a LP of burial at sea? I really didn't like the gameplay of infinite.
>>89481429
Burial at Sea ep1 is pretty much the same gameplay as Infinite but with some changes here and there. Episode 2 is more stealth oriented with less emphasis on combat and more emphasis on puzzles andfetch quests.
>>89481429
The sole reason Rosalind and Robert sent Booker to Columbia was to reunite him with his daughter, and the only way of doing that is to be drowned at the baptism by the hands of his own daughter. The baptism is where all the shit started.
>>89481801
oh okay I guess that makes sense. I guess.
also what the fuck is the songbird
>>89482380
>also what the fuck is the songbird
one of the Bookers who died
alternatively, a prototype for Big Daddy
>>89482380
Songbird is basically exactly the same as a Big Daddy.
>>89482380
>>89482472
Yeah. Songbird is to Elizabeth what Big Daddies are to Little Sisters. They're guards, protectors.
>>89482463
>>one of the Bookers who died
W A T
>>89482472
someone stretched out and altered for the sake of protecting the ultimate little sister? I mean I guess that makes sensenot really
>>89482813
Nah, he's not an alternate Booker. We never find out who Songbird is, not even in BaS. Kind of like how Delta's true identity is never revealed in Bioshock 2 (the "Johnny Topside" story is pretty insufficient and could have easily been a lie as well).
>>89482940
Fink created Songbird. That much we know.
Not knowing WHO Songbird is or who the Big Daddies are is part of the appeal, I think.
>>89482940
okay.
>>89483154
I kinda disagree. songbird seemed pretty important in the story I think we deserve to know who or what it is to be honest.
>>89483325
You can blame him for anything you don't like about the story.
>>89484574
I know, I do.
>>89483325
The game already devotes a lot of character development to Songbird. I don't think more needs to be said. What else could the story expand upon, other than whether Songbird is man, machine, or both? It wouldn't make it any more of an interesting character like Johnny Topside's story didn't for Delta. We know that Songbird isn't different from Big Daddies after all of the work that Fink stole from Suchong. They both serve as protectors in the story, and nothing more.
>>89485456
Aside from story, I think the creature was supposed to come at you when something plot-wise important is done, or being done. Moments like finishing all the Vox and about to go Comstock's house. Guess major of its appearance got cut when the game turned into none-openworld.

ME-MI-MO MIZZY
LIZZY!
Am I the only one who watches LPs of Bioshock Infinite? I just want to relive that feeling of playing it for the first time again.
>>89496438
I avoid watching gameplay of Infinite so I can replay it in a few months on my new computer and have a fresher experience.
>>89496979
I want bioshock 1 in infinite's engine so I can have the visuals and graphics of infinite with the gameplay of the original
>>89499817
Unreal Engine 3 is relatively old. They can do better than Infinite could now with UE 4.
If they were to do a remastered edition of the first Bioshock it would be cool if they revised some of the plot to reflect on Elizabeth and Burial at Sea, like easter eggs or something.
>>89500395
>easter eggs
yeah that'd be neat
