It always confused me why Blizzard couldn't be arsed to plop down a few copy-paste houses and put some random NPCs in them to make the villages seem like places that are actually worth defending because people actually live there.

The amount of common citizens in the entirety of Azeroth seems to be below 1000.

I know that the team that made Vanilla worked themselves to the bone and was pretty under-staffed, but it's not like adding some copy-pasted bullshit would take any measurable amount of effort.

Well they do have a lot of extra added content. There are like 5-6 more buildings there and some of em are houses. They also have guard posts and outhouses. I guess it isn't really a city, maybe more like a small town or a rest stop. Maybe the city just counts all of Elwynn and Goldshire is just the Tavern.

Gear doesn't give stats the neck and rings they give you at the start do. Gear is for looks only and it kills RP if everybody is walking around in "cool" looking overlord armor and raid epics.

You get 10 greens and 40 whites/grays per character. I quite like that aspect because it would be boring if it just looked like a bunch of fags trying to shot off their huge shoulders and shiny weapons.

Also if you feel a blue/epic doesn't look "cool" enough you can have it lowered to green tier by going to their forums and asking for it to be changed.

Yeah, "Legacy" is the rebrand they threw on it to dissociate themselves from the "Prologue" name - in reality it's all the same spergs behind the scenes ERPing with one another and acting like the trendiest little hipsters this side of tumblr.

Here's exactly what happened with OLW, for those of you who didn't know:

One night, we get to Lich King and wipe many times on him. The person who was supposed to be on dispels (Kerridwen, on her shaman) wasn't dispelling, and Piff actually had more dispels than her in linked meters. Piff gets frustrated and suggests that he takes over on the dispels. Kerri logs out suddenly right there and then. Raid over, continued a few days later and was successful.
The night after this, we do RS10. Many wipes on Halion. After one attempt, an officer (Teokure) comes on and says some shit in officer chat (like 'sorry Im late', that sort of shit).

The next day, Kerri logs on to her boyfriend's account and robs the guild bank. This took it from fucking with Piff to screwing over an entire guild full of people who did literally nothing. And is entirely justified because Piff is a "toxic player".
A spiteful and immature overreaction gets met with a spiteful and immature overreaction. Piff is furious, and sends Kerri an angry letter detailing why she fails at life and should kill herself and stuff. He stooped to her level by making it personal. He also contacted the guild she went to, Advant Garde, trying to get her kicked from it.
A settlement is reached that she has to return the items she stole, albeit over a generous time frame. Though, with the guild now basically dead and her transferring to horde, this deal will likely go unfulfilled.

A day ago, while Piff was offline, Teokure came on and gkicked the entire guild.

Again, fucking over a guild full of innocents just because they don't like a single person. Which is apparently completely moral and justified.
