In 2, click on a target and you auto attack it, your attack value is compared to the defense value of the target, a random roll is made to see if you hit. Just like in Origins, and unlike Inquisition.

Faster animations did not change the fact that 2 and Origins had traditional cprpg combat mechanics. Only the remains of that system exist in the combat of Inquisition. Now we have a pesudo action rpg broken mess where all dodging is boredline useless but it doesn't matter because I can craft armor that ensure dragons do 1 damage to me anyway.

Origins and 2 are far more alike mechanically than Inquisition, and it takes a pleb not to comprehend that.
