Let's all love Mirai and send those fuckers who want to fuck her in exile.
Your daily reminder that no other alignment has yet or ever will make a sound argument against law being the superior philosophy.
Wish I had the balls to do that full luck run in KMT. I spent my points on STR and INT, is that good enough? Once those are maxed (so at Lv. 10), VIT and SPD next. There aren't any incenses in this game, right?
Not much to complain anymore. OP, you did a good job. /smtg/ is now one of the best mannered generals. I mean look at those threads who are over bump limit on page 10. New /lolg/ for example has already 347 posts while the old one is still shitting this board up. Fucking disgusting.
Perfect would be if we could wait until the thread is at the last row of the catalog before we make a new one because our old one will still be there for some time, but yeah I'm already content and shouldn't expect too much.
>complaining about people who don't want to live in a pile of shit
Are you that 13 year old again? Just fuck off already. You do realize that that would've been my only metapost right?
It's not like it would've started any discussion nor was did I in any way intend to.
The worst thing about you is that you're the only one who complains about metaposting being the whole problem that makes everything go to shit while you yourself are metametaposting. You do realize the hypocrisy and stupidity behind this, right?
I can fight demons with not-Astro Boy? Sweet.
Also, do 'resist x element' attributes stack? I'm set up to make one of these with two resist phys attributes, which may be very helpful with fighting that jaguar bastard.
Lol. We're not playing the "1 up someones insult to hope getting the first hard hit in makes you win" game. People like you bitching about shit like this is the problem. You kill discussions, and you're why this board is shit. You're like those people who go to groups that identify as peaceful to start fights, then complain when they defend them-self calling it hypocrisy since defending is a form of fighting, and thus not peaceful. You always crop up, and you're cancer every time.
Please tell me the difference between my metaposting and yours.
Now if you would stop metaposting, you know that shit you hate so much, this discussion would end and everyone could post about them games. Somehow it seems to me you don't want that.
Also post more images, faggots.
Here. I'll tell you.
Yours is cancer.
Mine is letting you know that.
Knew that already but who's gonna stop me?
Don't quote me faggot. I have nothing against metaposting.
Also, are you aware of what you're doing right now?
>I never said metaposting kills the general.
Let me guess you are this guy >>86340981?
Wait, now that everyone has calmed down. Why is no one talking about them games? Guise?
I have been, but I somehow ended up Law for a while due to sidequests.
Chaos, but I'm planning on doing both Neutral and Chaos routes regardless. Just not sure of which to do first.
If you go into Monochrome Forest, beat the crap out of the White, and Steven is the first person you find after, then you're Neutral.
If Walter, then Chaos.
If Jonathan, then Law.
There's one Cynical Guy NPC in one of the HA buildings (don't know which one) that looks at you, and tells you whether you're polite (Law), rude (Chaos) or "hard to get a handle on" (Neutral). Just a way to check your current alignment.
>Wanting regular Jack Frost
>Not the King himself
I convinced a friend to play Nocturne, he's currently "stuck" at the troll guarding Loki's room.
Don't you guys have some really good general tips i can hand him?
Take this opportunity to fucking tell him about Buffs and Debuffs.
Ho-lee shit if, he's stuck at the troll he'll get anally ravaged by Matador soon after.
>SMTIV's guest party member system
they should've had a possession ailment like in persona 2 that adds a guest Poltergeist that has the moveset of any character it's possessing. the poltergeist will randomly attack enemies with super low level spells, prioritizing any enemies that will absorb/null them if it knows of a possibility to do so. it's also weak to every element. it exists purely to make the enemy smirk.
oh well, maybe in SMTV?
Get Jack Frost, stick the void Ice magatama on DF, spam buffs and debuffs, watch half your party die because you were dumb and brought a Lilim to the fight, still win because your DF had around 12+ strength at that point of the game and punched the fucker to death. All of that on Hard mode.
Are you a bad enough dude to beat this challenge, /smtg/?
Just wrapped up Deadalus completely. Am I doing good so far?
>KMT, SMT 1&2 and P1 will never be updated to not play like ass
Seriously Atlus, don't make shit like Persona Q and EO Untold 3432 but instead put those guys to work on a proper remake for those games.
All you need to do is update the environments and use EO combat and you're done
the only problem with P1P was how underwhelming the battles were, since the sprites were so small compared to the battlefield.
P2 had bigger sprites, but I feel like if they were about 30-50% bigger than even that it would be perfect for the perspective.
So I bobrossfreak ever gonna do anything for Break Record?
Someone had told me to keep the wiki open when playing DeSu so I could have an easy access to spells, demons and item lists, but it's tough to navigate through that since there's info about all SMT games in the same place, should I just use gamefaqs?
Fucking Leonard takes 20k Macca and around 7k MAG, some Life Stones and then dares to ask for emeralds and diamonds. I say no and he attacks me.
That bastard wouldn't even be worth a bottle of my piss. Fortunately I did save shortly before, else I wouldn't have given him that much.
> Mfw David in SMT IV isn't immune to Hama.
fiends, fairy, night are all valid answers to like
personally some of my favorite demons are zealots and i like the concept of viles
honorable mention to the lady (earth mother) race
I don't really hate any demon race.
>just started dds
had some psn credit and i've been putting it off forever
i've hung around smtg enough, so i already have an idea of what to do, and don't need any pointers
are the purple egg things normal item boxes? what is the dds equivalent of the mystery boxes where i would want to wait until max solar noise to open?
that's not really the issue at hand.
having preferences doesn't mean you hate the others.
it just means that you like some more.
so, you just like all demon races equally? uh, cool? good for you.
So I'm playing Megami Tensei and just made it to the Sky City. I'm really enjoying it, but do I need to go to Daedalus 8F every time I want to completely heal or fuse demons? It's getting really old trudging back there so often. The elevator helps at least a bit.
Would anyone know what ランディヘイズ could mean?
At most I figured out the second part is Haze/Hayes, but the first I can only figure out as Randy. The skill itself inflicts charm. Also, it is a skill from If...
Yeah and he will punished by her caring father.
Also forgot to use // in my epic post.
What's happening here? Since when turned /smtg/ to a christian general? Not the first time NSFW gets posted. I even spoilered it for you, friends. You don't have to look at it.
huh. dds is neato
i like the story focused business better than i thought i would
so, sorta obvious question... now that i have access mantras, i want to power through some of that top row for all the good devouring and hunting and atma point skills, right?
or... is that too awkward this early in the game? i want to get it over with, now seems good
Well, personally speaking, there is no need to grind all that much in the beginning. It can't hurt to have most elemental skills on most chars but like >>86379534 said, you're not really swimming in money. Although, the first ones are dirt cheap so just go for them.
If you're just after the hunting skills, focus on your main phys character (preferably Serph if I remember correctly) and get AP Divide and Iron Stomach as fast as possible. Coupled with two characters that now every elemental skill to hit enemies weaknesses you rake in AP pretty fast.
Or, if you're emulating, go the dirty skrub method, take the highest fatal hunt skill you have and savescum.
Except hidden bosses, phys Serph alone carried me through pretty much the second half of the game. World of STR and all that, with a bit of agi I think, the others were just there to heal and buff Serph, or occasionally attack either bosses for more press turn icons, or normal enemies with phys repel. Then again, that's what hunt skills are for.
Favorite demons go!
>Not having a full stat as fast as possible
To be honest, SMT4 was really boring with 200 Dex. Especially since demons deal around ~100-200 damage on weakpoints when the same Flynn attack on a non weakpoint deals 1500. They were just so useless for at least 3/4 of the game.
