btw, with most characters, if you notice labrys doing her DP and you're doing some sort of pressure string it will delay the super armor, you can either jump cancel and block or DP her back depending on your character (this is pretty common in the labrys mirror, labrys players DPing each other back non stop)

Its kinda hard to get used to though, and I guess its harder to do on lag. but yeah for example as a character like junpei if you're just pressuring her with 5aa>5b whatever and you notice the delayed DP just mash out your DP if you can't react well enough and punish it normally

A couple characters can't dp her back reliably though, like yukiko, liz, marg (liz can sometimes but because the super armor is throw invul you have to catch it on recovery, so its harder to do). You could also super if you want to be a dick but its safer to DP her back or jump cancel and block if you're able to

Practice it in training mode then a bit. it is a little hard to get used to and it really depends on the type of pressure you use and the point at which you catch the super armor

Just set the training dummy to record crouching block > DP, and see what you can do. The easiest way to catch her DP on wakeup is just simple stagger like 2a>5a>2a or 2a>2a>5a etc. it gives you the option of being able to do stagger into throw mixup, into throw bait, or DP baits. You can confirm it if they try to press anything on wakeup

I did the second combo a bit. Make sure you're getitng all hits of 5b, and sweep. I know I had this problem for a while when I was playing yu/minazuki a bit because I was cancelling some normals too fast before both hits, you probably already know this but just incase

as for the 236B~B~C > 214A~A part, it looks like you have to delay the B part like you said a bit, then just do the C follow up and 214a right away. The 214a might be a link, so you might have to just grind it out and figure out the timing

The secret might be in the timing for the B follow up, for me, I did 236B and then waited for them to just about to hit the ground, then did B~C>214A~A really fast. And I seem to be getting it pretty consistently now, just try to do the B follow up as late as possible

Honestly, it's true that P3 and P4 are both rather front and end loaded. Both games take a long time to get you started, and then nothing truly plot redefining happens until pretty much the end of the year. To be completely honestly I've only dabbled with the jump loop a bit. Im still fairly bad at hit confirming and even the bnb i currently do I have a bad habit of dropping sometimes (5AA> 5B> 5C> 5B> 2AB> 236B~B~A) . I'm sporting the Hori RAP V3 SA myself. The joystick 8-arc clicks nicely but if I had to give it a negative, I would mention that the buttons can stick occasionally (and yes, I clean my stick before each use). This causes me to do some awesome, although unintentional, hold skill feints when I realize the bar is charging and I then pop the button back down into its place.

Hori V3 vanilla. I'm too cheap to upgrade, the buttons don't stick but they're kinda clunky and it disconnects sometimes even though it's plugged in which has caused more lost matches than I wish to mention.

Injustice fight stick. Originally bought from fucking gamestop for 70 bucks. Vanilla stick is pretty good considering the price. Some nice blue leds in the buttons and stick shaft but some of the buttons felt kinda sticky in the plungers is the best way to describe it. Bat top was pretty okay. Its nice cause its hella light despite it being some kind of plastic composite ive bumped it a few times off my desk and no damages. I eventually swapped out the buttons for sanwas so I lost the leds in the buttons but the shaft bit is still lit up blue and I swapped out the art. Also has a lockout button which is nice no matter how ridiculous it seems to hit at the top of the stick.Very satisfied with my first stick. I feel like I have an addiction now though I wanna buy another one just to customize it and stuff, thank god Im too broke from vidya preorders to do it

Never feels useful for mixup unless your opponents retarded and doesnt hit you during your 30+ frames of recovery. Not worth the meter for sb either. I mean you can sometimes catch people off gaurd by going into rekka but if they block and you dont SB the downslash you're fucked. I dont know if Im just bad but it seems like so much missed potential, it's not even projectile invuln as far as I'm aware and I honestly think this would make it alot better if its atleast safe to some degree because it feels irrelevant when evade exists. Most people manage to snag you after you do it by mashing a though which sucks.

Ultimax is still going to be played because theres probably not gonna be another iteration for a long time. It still has casual and persona fan appeal while being a good laugh/less thinking required fighting game. It will still be played at evo whether it be a side tourney or main event. XRD is gonna reign supreme as the go to main series from Arc Sys even with 2.0 releasing god knows when. Uniel even during Na release isn't going to do to well cause most people that want it already have it.
