Well, yeah. They all could have and did.
Doesn't change my love for her.
>Being this mad about some dude that doesn't speak English as his native language
Get a room, you two.
She probably killed her dad, since he was the only person that she really liked.
The purest form of love will never lose to despair.
>mfw a bunch of lesbians and cunts fall to despair
>Girls hugging and being friends
>It must be lesbianism
We tumblr now
>implying Ibuki wouldn't be a good partner for Mikan to have.
When did that happen anyway. I haven't been to /y/ in years but before they didn't give a shit about girly boys and shota and barafags just made their own threads if that was what they wanted
I guess some people can't learn to forgive and forget. And it's not even the ship hate that's annoying. I don't even remember what it is that gets them all riled up because that board is mostly terrible to wade through regularly at all because it's just filled with fujoshi taste.
I've only been following /y for a few short years, but I remember popping in there before and I guess it feels mostly the same? It's just when people want to discuss stuff, or it turns into a your taste is bad, no your is, or their arbitrary rules they set up and get all mad if you don't follow it to a T. They just sound like a bunch of whiney underage girls arguing.
It's kinda like tumblr.
The barafags are pretty bad when they start to discuss anything. It's mostly fine when people imagedump, but when somebody starts posting some "scrawny" dude they think is hot they get all mad and the thread gets ruined.
Also, thread is dead. Good night fandom. Sleep well and may this thread make it through the night.
Guys, I really can't stop thinking about Kirigiri
I want to touch Kirigiri, I want to smell her scent, take care of her, marry her and have children with her
I broke up with my girlfriend last week because I was no longer attracted to her, only Kirigiri, I can't sleep because I'm thinking about Kirigiri, it's driving me crazy, she's my only and true love, my soulmate, I'd do anything to be with her, unfortunately we're separated by an entire dimension, so it's an impossible love
I don't know what to do anymore, /drg/, maybe if I commit suicide, will I meet Kirigiri in the afterlive...?
What would Monokuma have given him if he went for Devil May Cry difficulty and chambered all 6 rounds?
Knowing him, the gun would have jammed, so what riches would have awaited him if he hadn't pussied out?
It kinda defeats the purpose of Russian Roulette if you have a 100% chance of dying. The door probably wouldn't open and he'd have to just do it again the right way.
All he'd get is Monokuma mocking him for being dumb enough to use all the bullets the first time
Because if that outcome was true then we would have been calling it BS if that it worked. It just sounds way too implausible to pull off. By getting rid of just one bullet, you can still make it so that you can believe that his talent would work.
Naegi and Komaeda switch roles
How fucked is the DR1 cast?
Man, Hajime and Junko sure are good at wrecking everyone's fun.
Are the any Danganronpa edits of pic related? I only found one of Nagito but I forgot to save it.
he would have let maizono kill him, but then the bad luck would kick in and kirigiri would detective maizono's ass.
then this happens
>go to replay 1st trial for the no damage achievement
>see all these awesome characters who die before getting even halfway through the game
Pic unrelated, although I just read the IF novel thing and it was pretty good, if a little fanfic-esque.
I could totally cuddle with Chihiro, and it wouldn't feel one bit gay.
I guess that's why the had to make him a boy, and why he had to die so early. His waifu potential was just too strong.
Twogami, Pekoyama, and Saionji probably could have gone places.
Teruteru and Mahiru were more limited, though, and even 3 chapters in Ibuki didn't really seem to be used for much more than a genki character, so I'm not sure what they would suddenly change to get her some development.
Akane was a waste of a survivor given how they did nothing with her all game.
Souda was needed due to how they wrote Chapter 4 with the elevator breaking, and he'd likely be the most useful among them after awakening (maybe bar Hinata's potential bullshit talents), but again he didn't develop much, and was more set up as the cowardly joke character, as some flat mash-up of Fukawa and Hiro.
Sonia could have had some neat stuff done with her, but ended up just sort of a plain, friendly girl that could make perverse jokes, with her royalty seemingly being an afterthought or joke material here and there.
Fuyuhiko was solid, though, from a standpoint of character growth. From mourning Peko's sacrifice, Mahiru's death, and trying to make amends to Hiyoko and consoling Akane, dude was probably the most well-written survivor in DR2, as far as I am concerned.
No tears, only PLATINUM now.
(not pictured mgs2 platinum)
A new morning has come, a morning full of hope
Open your hearts with happiness, and look at the blue sky
Listen to the voice from the radio, with an open heart
Turn your face to the fresh winds, now! 1... 2... 3!
Good morning, you bastards! It’s 7 in the morning! Time to wake up!
Let’s all strive to do our best today!
I read DR IF a couple days ago and I have to say that made me really, really like Ikusuba's character and relation with Makoto.
Her love for him made me warm inside, even when it was a simple as "he smiled at me and made me feel as part of the school" and when Junko said that Ikusuba only looked at the camera on one photo because Makoto was the one taking it. That simple things makes me so happy. I am a sucker for Makoto as well.
It's a shame that all Ikusuba's doujins are Makoto been bullied by Junko to be with jam it in on Ikusuba. Can I have some vanilla love for once?
Same here, while I like both, I kind of prefer Mukuro over Kirigiri paired with Makoto. It may be because I'm a sucker for unrequited relationship and socially awkward characters, but they look really cute each other.
Other than that, Kirigiri tend to feel flat for me at times (maybe because she is supposed to be the "cool beauty" trope and her FTE doesn't seem fulfilling for me), while Mukuro comes out as cute and socially awkward...it's a shame that IF just counts as fanfic since it kind of change my impression on Mukuro.
Maybe if I read DR:Kirigiri my impression of her would change, but some people here said that it was horrible, is it true?
>trying to get last (all Island mode endings) trophy
>no tickets left
>day 2x, last day for Imperial Feast
>"Well I'll make everyone work for the last 4 items I need, there's no way I'll not get the items if I put everyone to work"
>next day monomi forces everyone to clean
>4 people get overworked
I want to gently nurse Naegi-kun back from near death.
>The barafags are pretty bad when they start to discuss anything. It's mostly fine when people imagedump, but when somebody starts posting some "scrawny" dude they think is hot they get all mad and the thread gets ruined.
I dunno man. I had been on /y/ for a year straight and I didn't notice anything like that.
I liked Kirigiri. She maybe a bit bitchy, but she had your back, and she did come to make amends and apologies. I liked her mysterious aura. And she acknowledge you as an equal, which is nice.
Talking about IF now: The one person who Makoto loved before his memories were erased. Was Kirigiri, right? IF seems to imply that.
Uploaded the wrong screenshot for some reason
Hajime was okay. I didn't like his antena though.
But yeah, Naegi is a cutie.
I always feel like they fucked up his design. Even in doujin I can't bare to really like him. They probably wanted to make him look a bit like Naegi, but still distinctive compared to other characters. His beta designs are better imo, but they look too much like other SDR2 characters I think.
Other design, I like the softer hair/face better.
i'm confused about the DR2 dub.
They're in-game speaking English, right? But they all live in Japan? Or are they somewhere else?
What was the original language for the Sparkling Justice thing before it got dubbed as Spanish?
Yeah, I did say I like her though not as much as as I like Mukuro. But I agree, she does acknowledge Naegi as an equal, which is great. I'm just a bit frustrated since I want to know about her past and background a little bit more.
>The person that Makoto loved
Yeah, since Sayaka looks like on friendly term only with him, I guess it is Kirigiri... and Junko teased Mukuro about that a lot in IF too if I got it right.
I thought he was designed to look rather plain and ordinary since he's a reserve course student? I mean his name is pretty common too, and didn't stand ot much like the other characters.
Wait, they actually spoke Spanish in the original dub?
>What was the original language for the Sparkling Justice thing before it got dubbed as Spanish?
Wasn't Peko's speech and the fact he was named KiraKirachan mean it was always in Japanese?
Yeah, Sonia translated the original article, which was in Spanish, to English/Japanese
>Wasn't Peko's speech and the fact he was named KiraKirachan mean it was always in Japanese?
I assume that the writers thought it'd be too much of a hustle to come up with a nickname in language most of them probably don't know.
>all it takes for Mahiru to win Saionji is over is to hang out with her for a while and be nice ONCE
>you hang out with her and give her presents she's always wanted
>she's still a fucking asshole
The original name of KiraKira-chan (Sparkling Justice), if you reverse the translation to Spanish would be: BrillaBrilla-chan
Sparking Justice is translated from Justicia Brillante, or Brillante Justicia, both are acceptable.
Well here it is, we've fucking hit the breaking point, it's fucking over, these threads are fucking finished, not long now before, KSG offers to take us in.
I fucking warned all of you, but you wouldn't listen.
FUCK OFF WE'VE BEEN ACTUALLY TALKING ABOUT THE GAME FOR THE LAST 15 POSTS.
Motherfucking shit, it's you again...this crap is getting old you know? Don't you have anything better to do?
I meant a screencap of what Nanami says in pic related
If anything FFXIV General is worse, they have constant new content yet choose to circle jerk, I get freaked out knowing I might have passed one of those guys on a quest when playing that game.
Just finished DR1
Thought it was pretty fun, but the cases themselves were really simple most of the times, I found out most of the "twists" before the investigation usually finished, which sort of made it annoying when Togami and Kirigiri where condescending towards Naegi.
Just so I'm clear, I'll NEVEREVER play DR2 in english if I don't get a Vita?
>"he smiled at me and made me feel as part of the school"
I actually dislike this part. I always hate the "I love MC-kun because he's a nice guy" cliche.
Personally I prefer Kirigiri as Naegi's pairing. They actually went through the killing game together, with ups and downs between their relationship. In the end, they learned to trust each other and there's a clear progression between their relationship, even if it's not necessarily romantic.
I've been spreading despair in Jet Set Radio.
Wish I had some better cropped pictures, I'm posting from my Vita.
Hope will never loose against despair!
You will never get a whiff of Celestia's premium pussy, only to find out Vampire Chad's have destroyed it inside and out.
the cases and general writing in DR2 is way, way better, although personally I preferred the DR1 cast.
you can just watch a LP on youtube. The only major problem with justonegamr's playthrough is that he doesn't check the evidence at the start of the trial, so you have to remember.
Not counting Junko or Komaeda, who does /drg/ think is the most suited or the most interesting character to play the role of the mastermind?
Yeah, I'm too old to watch LPs. I've tried with some other games, but ultimately decide it's fucking stupid. I'll just hold out trying to not get spoiled and get the Vita, someday.
Could have made some sense with him being a programmer too
My curiosity is piqued.
Anyone have a clue what this video is even about?
You beat me to it, good morning indeed.
Maybe, but I would expect him to play the role very differently
Hinata is trying to pretend he hasn't been getting panties but instead has been collecting hankerchiefs.
The yandere was about to believe him but Komaeda decides to HOPE
I think Ishimaru would make an interesting mastermind, I mean with his background and past it would make more sense if he fall into despair and grow bitter in the first place.
I can only imagine that he turns out to be a tyrannical dictator or someone like Zera from Litchi Hikari Club.
>the original concept had the player be able to affect who ends up as the Mastermind
>tfw you could've been able to save your waifu
Yamada has greatest despair, for he cannot be with his waifu.
>The alien is Hinata (an outsider) being taken for experimentation by the monokuma doctors (despair)
>The next scenes are showing both his transformation to Izuru, and the struggling forces of Hope (represented as the aliens, which are stand ins both for Hinata as an entity outside of Hope's Peak's darker quest for false HOPE, and as Hope itself), and Despair (represented as Monokumas, which are stand ins for the misguided quest by Hope's Peak for false-Hope via talent, as well as Izuru's own rise to power).
>The gurney with covered body represents the death of Hajime Hinata, and despairs triumph over hope. He is no longer, and Izuru/false hope-despair was victorious.
>The grave represents the finality of his demise, and yet the lingering spirit is Hinata's lingering consciousness/influence, small, but there, imperceptible to others, Izuru and science. He lingers on despite all logic dictating that he no longer "exists," yet he is there. This is how he was able to retain his memories of pre-Izuru time, as well as his ability to retain his Hinata-persona after leaving VR - an impossibility, and yet there he is at game's end. It also has connotations of resurrection of the spirit. Furthermore, there are two spirits depicted, to represent the dual nature of Hajime/Izuru. The flowers are there because they are pretty, I guess, plus it's sort of courtesy you know?
Source: My ass
>All that crying of the drop of a hat was just to get you off guard
>Chihiro secretly wants all of the people who ever bullied him to fall in to despair and kill themselves.
>implying Hiyoko won't love Hajime unconditionally once they have some true naked connections
It worked for Mondo/Kiyotaka, and Hiyoko/Mahiru.
Did they ever say why they removed so much of the dynamic story telling? Did they just bite off more than they could chew in their initial design or was it a limitation of having to develop for the PSP? Is there any reason to think the upgrade to developing for the Vita for DR3 would give them more leeway?
Would still be a better motive than Junko's
Do you go to art school anon?
That shit is straight up critique-style bullshitting.
Nope, STEM grad.
I channeled my mockery of art students and produced the same shit-drivel that I see them turning out every year.
>Did they ever say why they removed so much of the dynamic story telling?
if you're going to have 15-16 different routes, you really will have to sacrifice quality of the cases, because they would've differed so very wildly depending on the killer, their skills, and the victim.
The concept honestly sounded like one of the most ambitious visual novels of all time, so you can't really blame them for deciding to go with linearity instead for a niche game with a niche fanbase with a small team.
I think he's still too "cute" to be mastermind material, though. I don't think you would take it as seriously if he suddenly appeared like that.
Kind of like how some of Nagito's beta designs have him looking kind of cute, so they were probably changed because it might seem weird or you wouldn't take the things he was doing seriously if he looked like that.
I know that doing so many routes would have been impossible, but I sort of wish you could at least have a few multiple endings or variations depending on what you do.
Sort of like how even though Chihiro's murder happens regardless,it was punch to the gut when I did his FTE and suggested he go talk to Mondo before that. I felt like I'd basically killed him.
>Terrified animal-Chihiro is another automaton made by Mastermind Chihiro
>Actual Mastermind Chihiro is 6'0" and ripped.
Why is the computer screen pointing to someone's crotch?
Monaka looked pretty qt when she was revealed and we all know how that went
I think it's a difference in how they're presented, though. Monaka is presented as an antagonistic like character right at the start. To have cute Chihiro act all timid and them all of a sudden reveal himself to be a bad guy might be hard to take seriously.
"Junko" was barely part of the game at that point, though. Chapter 1 focused mostly on Sayaka, you only saw Junko if you spent time with her. I mean like every time you see Chihiro in the short time he's alive in DR1 he's acting shy and timid or crying.
I think the craziness would have overridden the cute, or made it more disturbing because of the dissonance between cute and insane.
Sort of like the mastermind Naegi stuff.
Joke's on you, he was
merely pretendingto be cute.
Imagine beta-Komaeda shrieking his signature laugh
Naegi is innocent, but I can take the whole "I'm secretly evel" thing more seriously if it was him rather than Chihiro.
I don't know, I think Chihiro is a silly mastermind choice because he's like the human equivalent of a fucking hamster, even if he was merely pretending to be timid.
>He takes out a gun and plugs them in the knee
>Walks over to throne and hugs his Monokuma doll while giggling about how fun the game has been
That'd probably shut those faggots up.
>Here are some photos.
Hahah, I can totally see him standing in the gymnasium, holding a laser pointer and showing people powerpoint presentations of all the atrocities he commited on the world. While giggling and blushing like he used to in DR1.
As mentioned above by another Anon, there is a good dissonance when you have something cute doing something horrifying and evil.
It's what makes Monokuma work so well, compared to his Phantom design. When he butters his pancakes with Mondo, you think
>That's a cute picture!
>Nigger that butter is people.
Since I can't play DR2 until we get a vita emulator(rip) I was looking for some similar VNs(I already played zero escape)
I heard that ever17 was written by the same creators of 999, what did you guys think of it?
The cuteness is what would make it creepy. You don't think the whole "innocent" act while talking about how he made your family kill each other or something just because he thought the look on your face would be funny would be disturbing?
It rushes through the first game and misses out on many memorable moments. Plus they completly skip out investigations.
Still i think how they portraited the characters and their feelings was really memorable, you could feel the despair on Ishimaru when Mundo was executed and Junko´s reveal was really well done.
It's a chopped up rushjob, but it's fine you've already played the game and want to see it animated
How so? I mean it's called "acting" for a reason...if you don't want people to suspect you're the one behind it all you would want to appear as non-threatening as possible.
What if it was a situation like the way I've seen Naegi's done, where Monokuma is running on auto the entire time and Chihiro purposely mindwiped himself/gave a fake personality to fit in and erase any suspicion?
because his whole character up to that point would have been that he's cute. He portrays himself like he's an innocent afraid animal that you want to protect. I think to suddenly go from that to "UPUPUPUPU I FORCED ALL OF YOU TO KILL EACH OTHER I'M SO EVIL" would be too much of a broad change and you'd have to force a lot for people to take it even remotely seriously. I mean when Junko shows up in DR1 everyone(except Kirigiri of course) is fucking afraid.
Makoto is a cute guy too, but it isn't his character. So while it would seem strange for him to be a mastermind it wouldn't be quite as forced as if it was Chihiro, for example.
Well no one took the talking plush toy seriously when it first showed up either and look how quickly that changed. Same thing for the kids in AE
Chihiro's not my first choice for alternate mastermind (I think Naegi or Ishimaru would have been better) but I don't think it would be THAT out of place. In the end I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.
>Well no one took the talking plush toy seriously when it first showed up either and look how quickly that changed. Same thing for the kids in AE
Monokuma wasn't really established as a character outside of his cute appearance at that point, though. So for him it works. Not sure about the kids because I haven't played AE yet personally, but it's probably the same thing. What I'm saying is that Chihiro establishes himself as a character, something that's completely opposite to what the mastermind would act like so for him to suddenly switch gears like that would seem a little forced to me.
>All of that
Lolis are to be protected and platonically loved, not abused. Only once they reach age of majority in their local jurisdiction, and reciprocate your feelings can you love them tender.
my dick takes precedent over any fear i may feel.
>stumble upon DR thread on /v/
>recognize atleast half of the posts
You fuckers, why didn't you say something?
>5."Generals"—long-term, recurring threads about a specific game—should be posted in /vg/. This is not to say threads about specific games cannot be created on /v/, just that long-term, recurring threads belong in /vg/.
Junko was the mastermind of 1 and 2
Monaka is her protege
Order of Deaths:
DR1: Sayaka, Chihiro, Hifumi/Ishimaru, Sakura, Junko
DR2: Togami (it's okay, he's only pretending to be togami), Miharu, Ibuki/Hiyoko, Komaeda, Junko
AE: Aoi's bro, Chihiro's father
>every other post "lel TRIGGERING"
>all the popular characters are shit!
>copy pasta copy pasta copy pasta
>browse through DRAE tag on tumblr for butthurt
>suddenly gay nigger porn
You should have included the killers for maximum despair.
>AE: Aoi's bro, Chihiro's father
Oh thank lord, just went over to the wiki earlier today and
luckilyjust checked these two out since I found their profiles at the kill cards translation.
I thought everyone on that kill card except main character was dead, seems I was wrong.
I still can't help think there'd of been an easier way to do that. The fire and poison were good ideas, but all he needed to do was make it look like a suicide, he didn't need to tie himself up and cut himself. He did all that extra shit and couldn't be bothered to hide the the poison? What the hell Nagito.
why didn't NEKOMARU NIDAI train the cast to fight the monobeasts
It's took risky, Akane almost died fighting against Monokuma.
Meaning if she actually fought Sakura like she wanted she'd get her ass kicked, since she fought Monokuma to a standstill.
Why is Chiaki a Nintendrone? She doesn't own a single Sony handheld.
Well he said the monobeasts which guard the entrances to the blocked islands, not monokuma which is junko herself but yeah those things have weapons so it's almost impossible to beat
She emulated the first one and watched an LP of the second.
What if she emulated it? She wouldn't want School/Island mode anyway since she's bad at dating sims.
Is there a video game character that can outwit Nagito Komaeda?
And I'm not talking about regular Nagito Komaeda, oh no. I'm talking about Nagito Komaeda after a spell of bad luck, and after a decent amount of prep time, with the title of Ultimate Hope hinging on his victory and after he has found out that he is a part of Ultimate Despair in addition to not being satisfied with an ending that doesn't contain either hope or despair all while his dementia is influencing his decisions and winning will bring about an even greater hope.
She was able to use Naegi's crush on her for her advantage, she could've created those videos herself and pretend to be all scared so naegi would be "It's okay Maizono I'll be with you". She could've faked her own death even, Leon would still try to kill her but the wound wasn't "lethal" enough so she survived and used somebody else's body.
Also Hagakure, or at least what was beta hagakure. What's with those Mastermind Ishimaru pictures on pixiv anyway?
>You remember our promise, right?
>[Didn't you promise to date me when we got back?]
>That's not what I was talking about! ...But I certainly wouldn't mind dating you...
Oh yeah, she was most definitely impressed.
That Hagakure died in the first chapter like in the demo. This motherfucker is the one that pops up at the end of the game
Is he the most handsome Ronpa?
Can someone draw this pic but with Komaeda instead?
Werent they captured?i dont remember exactly but i think it was mentioned at some part of chapter 6, Naegi also made some arragements to protect them for the project to be made if i recall correctly.
Well, I think they weren't known as Ultimate Despair at first, so I guess the assumption is that they weren't being treated poorly by the FF because at that point they were simply thought of as survivors and not dangerous individuals. So then they must have went kind of willingly.
The capture of Ultimate Despair and how Izuru uploaded Junko in to the computers were not really explained that well, I kind of hope we get filled in in a later game or something.
It was said someone was controlling them with the same caliber as Junko which makes me think it's AI Junko. She could have ask for sacrifices for some kind of plot and those guys volunteer themselves?
"Regarding the report we gave you the other day"
"We have obtained information... A person who claims to be a survivor of Hope's Peak Academy"
"Upon further investigation, there are a total of 15 survivors"
Blah blah blahh
A Despair notified the Future Foundation and then they were all safely brought in.
I played 2 before 1 for some reason, which was weird as fuck with the final reveal at the end. It also spoiled who survives in 1, which was a bummer. But when I did play 1, I found that the cases seemed way easier than they were in 2, but I'm not sure if that's because I was more experienced with solving the minigames during the trials. I had seriously no idea what the fuck was going on in panic mode until I played the first game. I just smashed buttons in 2.
The cases are generally a lot easier in the first game, I guess they assumed everyone who played the second game already played the first so they just upped the difficult right from where they left off in the last case in the first game.
Panic Mode is switched in 2. In 1 it's what you expect and you press buttons to the rhythm, in 2 it's fucking weird, you have to actually hold the button and let it go, but yeah you can get through it by mashing too, it's not hard.
Chapter 6, i think when you were in the library reading those Future Foundation emails? It was from one of those tumblr translated videos and not the Vita one so the line could be different
I don't remember that at all, maybe I just forgot. First I've heard that someone was controlling them. I don't see who it could be, though. Izuru had the Junko AI with him and no one had ever seen him before, well Nagito didn't, anyways, unless he was the one guy who was separate from everyone else.
Yeah, they thought out the cases to be more interesting in 2 but in my opinion i liked the ending to 1 more than 2 due to how your classmates magically hear your voice and sided with you compare to 1 where you shoot HOPE through them and persuaded them to join your side although the waifu.exe part was great for 2
From what I heard the Kirigiri novel isn't, but then no one here seems to have actually fucking read it anyways since we get people asking where she got her scars from and they say "it's in the novel" but still don't explain where or how.
Zero is worth reading, though. I don't mind Danganronpa IF either but it's kind of fanfictiony.
GUYS GUYS I THINK I LOST MY AHOGE.
PLEASE IF ANY OF YOU GUYS FOUND IT RETURN IT I'M PANICKING.
You're talking about this?
IT WOULD BE HORRIFYING
I KNEW THAT WOULD HAPPEN I'M BEGGING YOU I CAN'T STOP TYPING IN CAPS LOCK DUE TO THE PANIC
>I only want one talent, sir.
>Nonsense, here's all of them, free of charge.
>and by "free of charge" I mean we're going to remove all of your emotions and leave you a joyless husk.
Yeah that email
Zero is good and it talks a little about Junko
That short story about Naegi's worse day before admitting to the school is also good.
DR kirigiri isnt finished so you should wait until then in my opinion
>get to case 3
both best girls get killed
well fuck this game I guess.
I know your pain bro.
Saionji for waifu, Ibuki for bro-tier girl, Mikan for cheap laughs.
Especially since Hiyoko was originally going to live. Goddamn what I would pay to have had her made it.
Between cat fight with Junko in the final chapter, possibly becoming as good of a friend as Fuyuhiko by game's end, and hearing Mahiru speak to her and strengthen her resolve at the moment of overwhelming despair, I just can't help but feel sad over what could have been.
Finally got my hands on VLR, I imagine that a lot of people here have played it since it's made by the same company and all, though I'm playing it on the 3DS, I heard that there was a part of the game where your save could get corrupted if you tried to save, what part is it?
So does it ever explain who made the AI chips?
Is Junko some kind of super genius?
I always figured she was a charismatic zealot with above average intelligence but not much else, not the despair equivalent of Batman. I figure she would need help from someone like she needed for most of her other plots, maybe
the ultimate hope?
Outlet for boredom and a shitty upbringing. Grandmother dotes on her in terms of her needs, but other than that doesn't do much.
Plus being bullied and having attempts made on her life probably contributed to her becoming a bully herself. But due to her extremely short stature, she probably feels that she can only take her feelings out on things that are weaker/smaller than her (ants, crabs, butterflies, flowers, etc.), or people that roll over and accept her bullying (like Mikan).
But deep down, she is actually quite sweet once she can move past her defensive mask, after she gets to know a person.
Yes, She basically the genius the scientists at Hope's peak is trying to create. You could call her the second coming of Kamukura Izuru (school founder) if she wasn't so evil and crazy
>tfw she was killed before she actually has a chance to redeem herself like Fuyuhiko
>all of my friends who played the game were greatly happy to see her gone
So Junko can clearly restore the memories taken away by the Future Foundation, as shown by the despair disease giving Mikan her memories back. So why didn't she just restore everyone's memories at the end so they'd remember they served her?
all of my friends who played the game were greatly happy to see her gone Are your friends aware that they have bad taste? If she lived to the end instead of Fuyuhiko, we'd all be sitting around talking about how great she was by the end of the game, and how Fuyuhiko was a jackass that no one liked, and it didn't count that he was beginning to try and make amends for his shitty behavior in the first part of the game.
Because she wants to make them despair, you fool! What's the point if they all know and all die?
She wants them to be terrified constantly of threats, mourn for their murdered/executed friends and the betrayals of their buddies. She can't come if they aren't in tears.
emulate the first game with PPSSPP. There's a translation patch. If you want, there's an already-patched .iso torrent on TPB.
Second game you're shit out of luck unless you have a vita, you don't mind using a translation script, or you're willing to sit through a LP
like I did
I like Hiyoko, quite a bit actually, but if you compare their behavior in chapter 3 daily life I can definitely see why people would have a better impression of Kuzuryu. He gave a heartfelt apology, slashed his stomach to show sincerity, and stopped being a jackass almost immediately. Though it's obvious she was trying to change, she still insulted everyone and treated Mikan like shit to the bitter end. She insults everyone in the relationship charts, she insults Hajime in the island mode events and the FTEs, she just has a naturally caustic personality and some people just don't appreciate it.
Naegi, Leon and Asahina. Celes and Yamada too I guess.
Half of them, basically. Guys like Makoto,Hagakure, Asahina, Sakura, Fukawa, Yamada, Celes and Byakuya all had fine lives. The other ones I left out had more of a rough go of it.
I think his initial reaction would be roughly the same when he saw Genocider for the first time (since nagito's outbursts tend to make people around him freaked out), but since Nagito is older he'd probably trated him with more respect...though I don't know he would argue constantly about that with Nagito since it's one of the topics he tend to take seriously.
He was getting chased by the mafia and shit. Probably didn't have as hard a life as the others, but I don't think things were going too well for him.
Plus aliens stealing his burgers.
She got bullied and teased a lot at school, not to mention guys tend to constantly made fun of her. If she lived a normal life, I don't think she'd have her other persona with her. Not to mention she have a cerain submissive/masochistic side as well...
I guess that's a good point.
So saying most of the DR1 Danganronpa's didn't have a hard life isn't really accurate. A lot of them did, just a lower percentage than DR2 Dangan's. Although it's kind of hard to beat 100%, isn't it?
Well, Ishimaru is pretty popular and a lot of people think that he would make an interesting mastermind...I personally think the same way too, to be honest.
Actually that picture is from one of those 4koma comics, so I guess a lot of people draw Mastermind Ishimaru because of that as well.
She's just tsundere for Mikan. Only she's allowed to bully her.
>Other people are posting it, too
Yesss. My dark work is now complete
Godzilla and Junko would be the best of friends.
I don't know, maybe he'll think that he's lucky because someone (and an Ultimate to boot) would actually respect him enough to call him senpai in the first place, even if he does do that, I think Ishimaru would still insist to call him senpai out of courtesy.
