holy shit there's a Rise Sexualis 2
is the guy that translates doujins still around?
Xth for new thread and best shota
Fucking finally. I need this.
>"Why are you linking a picture of a sad panda?"
>It's untranslated though.
not a problem, still great for reaction images
That's for sure. I hope it gets translated soon. I know there's someone here who's good at translating doujins and has done it like 5 times in the past.
Fuck, I was just about to post that panel.
Well, we can only hope he appears during this thread, would be nice to have it translated.
I object to your line of thought, you commie scum!
Don't sexualize the Yu, the only thing he wants is FRIENDSHIPS.
PS3, unless you care about a slightly higher resolution and possibly higher FPS but who gives a shit about those in a JRPG.
I'll be getting it on PS4 however, I'm quite excited about having something that would work really well with the remote play.
what about the persona robots or supernatural entities?
She's a toaster not a girl.
Fapping to toasters is acceptable.
>can't fap without ruining romantic thoughts between the characters
nigga you cant be serious
Metis is officially my robot love
>that quality in Rise and Naoto's jaws
This was the normal anime?
Why would you demean something so magical...
>best designed robot
>Doesn't really exist
I thought it had a better budget? I'm so glad I didn't watch that shit.
that piece of shit one youtube? Blah. I miss the other one that had P3's version first then P4's version of the second half then it neatly mixed both with P3's first part of the chrous with P4's final part of the chrous. Too bad the person who created it got account ax'd
Has potter-kun been confirmed as MC?
I just can't help but feel that this is one of the few trailers that all lead to the MC being seen summoning his Persona in the middle of
How else are you going to satisfy her, silly
>I thought it had a better budget?
But they waste it all on Marie shots
Well like I said it'd have to be a deliberate play from Atlus for him not to be the protag.
The point is we can't say it's confirmed unless Atlus says as much. No matter how likely it is.
You're not Yu though.
I bet she'd honestly be cool with anyone jerking it to her. She's probably kind of a perv like that
Also people still forgetting to update the bloody pastebin link in the OP.
Why the fuck do I even bother if nobody gives a shit
You mean like they did for Arena? Each of the new characters had their own animated cutscene.
Considering the way Atlus promoted PQ and P4U2 by releasing character trailers gradually as the release date approached, it wouldn't be surprising if they do the same for P5.
She's probably thinking about how good her face would fit there. The slut.
You'd be surprised about all her BSDM shit, anon.
I don’t need your pussy, bitch, I’m on my own dick
Oh well. Anybody got a screenshot of MC doing an all-out attack with one other party member in Portable, then? I can try to do it myself, but I can't take a screenshot on the Vita.
So, my friend saw me playing P4 on the PS2 a few months back, and he seemed interested in it. Recently, I talked to him and he said that he would like to play the Golden version on the Vita, after I told him what was different about it.
I'm totally cool with buying it for him, but I'm worried he might skip out before the end, because I know him to be a bit of a casual,
playing a lot of triple A games on easiest difficulty.Do you think I should still buy it for him, /pg/?
It's a different kind of game from most on the market.
Sure, if you don't mind forking over 40bux for your friend I think you'll have a lot to talk about as to which girl is best and who's the killer
Minatos deathbed is quite popular around fan artists.
>yfw Persona 5 comes to Vita as a P4G DLC with gameplay improvements and bonus content
He seems like the kind of person that would call that dungeon shitty anyway
Guess we'll find out in Persona Q
Whats the Q even stand for anyway?
>not dropping hints for Dojima so he can deduce what happened
I seriously hope.
>tfw I was genuinely afraid of Dojima like he was my dad or something
>that social link
>I was genuinely afraid of Dojima like he was my dad or something
I'm so sorry, Anon.
Dojima and Nanako should have just been fitted into the course of the story.
Its shitty that so much of their story is tucked away in optional and lopsided social links. Its better than the murder mystery stuff.
they should just drop the social link thing entirely in P5, or go full VN and drop the RPG.
How would you even come close to that conclusion.
>dojimas very presence keeps you from going out at night
>Marie was literally just forced into the game as a major character, even though she's just a cameo DLC character tier at best.
Huh? she contributes to the story and ties up some loose plot threads. She's interesting and unique. There's nothing wrong with her.
Eh she serves as a plot-hook towards Izanami, who kind of came out of the blue in the original. It's just if you already played P4 Vanilla you already know about Izanami anyway so she loses a bit of purpose, but for someone who plays it fresh?
She was simply not as memorable, interesting, or as cute, as the original 4 waifus that people already are familiar with, so shitters from /v/ act like she's the plague.
case and point. You cant argue or reason with people like this
I liked her more than
Naoto,but shes not that special.
better in the anime at least
>who kind of came out of the blue in the original.
Edogawa doesn't say shit for no reason, Anon.
Izanami already stated they were a part of her in vanilla. Not that hard to comprehend.
Are you being honest? look at me
Marie is the worst character yet, look at me, I could literally snap her like a sack of potatoes over my knee. If you wanted to pick a good Persona character you could at least pick TEDDIE or something god
>Edogawa doesn't say shit for no reason, Anon.
True as that is, it's still a bit left out because you can seriously miss her. After Marie's dungeon you at least get a serious feeling there's still something left that you don't know.
I wouldnt put her on par, but still alright.
I enjoyed Yumi and Ai a lot more though.
I only did the pikachu link in vanilla, and that was so long ago I cant remember her at all. other than pikachu jokes.
I'm talking about Edogawa in general. If you played P3 and didn't completely blow off his lectures, you'll figure out he says a lot of things that pertains to the magic of muh personas and concepts.
Oh. You know that kind of works in Marie's favor then.
I think you actually could only get her SL events that have the comb in it after getting back from Tatsumi Port Town (some might not have noticed but her SL stops until certain points in the stories if you leveled it high enough)
>you will never hear any Persona MC canonically say these words to anyone ever.
>you will never hear anyone canonically say these word to
>he didn't steal Kenjis egg
Never listens to anything you say, fuck him
I dunno. I could be asking the same about your mom.
That's one thing I really didn't like about P3's social links. You pretty much had to tell them what they wanted to hear all the time. In 4 you actually got away with being critical sometimes.
Yeah, one of the reasons why P4 sucked is that nobody had any character development because it was all offloaded into optional social links.
Party members shouldn't be social links if it's not going to impact their behaviour in the story at all.
Someone needs to make a compilation of all of the dick moves MC can make over the course of P3.
Cause they're fucking hilarious.
Just like real life.
I always thought the concept of the Wild Card meant that you can adapt your persona to hide your true self and make the other person think you're similar to them, hence having a Persona from the same Arcana as the SL helps you advance your relationship faster.
>Pretty much had to tell them what they wanted to hear all the time.
No, you didn't. You choose to prioritize maxing the link instead of saying what you wanted because there would be consequences to what you say.
Ai, Naoki, Dojima, Nanako
I thought P4 handled the "non special" people way better than 3. Interactions with anyone in the dorm is way better than with your friends in P4, but everyone else seems so much plausible in 4
>tfw you relate more to Mitsuo and Adachi
>tfw the main cast insults you
or telling your friend to keep doing sports till he almost breaks his leg
MC is a terrible friend. For all the shit Yu receives for "meddling" with everyone's lives, at least he's doing it because he cares
I hated Kaz and Mamoru's fucking SLs. I put up with Kenji a lot more despite him being a faggot. Kaz is such a colossal retard and Mamoru is a copypasta of Kaz except this time his excuse is "MY FAMILY IS POOOOOR!"
Yumi was also good if you ask me.
I'd like for the P5 social links to be "complex" like hers in that way.
P3P did it with Akihiko too. You had to finish Shinjiro's SL where you tell him you'll take care of Akihiko and you had to give the right answer in his own SL pretty early on to even have a chance for him to ask you to be his girlfriend.
It's changing your persona accordingly to who you spend time with. Not to hide your true self, but for the purpose of preserving the convenience of social interactions by getting along.
Just because it's what that character wants to hear doesn't make it the correct thing to say.
P3 awarded points in slinks depending on what the character wanted to hear, not what was correct.
In Jungian psychology, Personas are like masks that people wear in different social situations. You act differently during a job interview to how you act with your friends, or with your parents, or on your own, or on an imageboard.
People put on different personas according to how they want to come across and to who, and they don't necessarily do it consciously.
So it doesn't really make sense that it's ostracised into its own wildcard ability. I'd rather have it that the protagonist can use personas of any arcana, and other party members can only use personas within their own arcana.
Yeah they did that in the old Persona games, although you were limited to what arcana you were compatible with.
It still made sense since there are some things we cannot pretend to be no matter how much we try to. You can expect a very shy person to pretend to be an overt asshole in public.
Considering everyone in P3 and P4 have all the personality of a wet sponge, it makes sense that they haven't grasped the concept of acting, their voice actors certainly haven't.
So I just finished Persona 3. It was a fun Journey, though towards the end I just wanted to get it over with
Is the Answer worth watching?
Also, does it give an explanation to the last 3 days? Was it all just his imagination or did he seriously wander around for another month being half dead?
>playing The Answer
No thanks, there are more fun ways to bore myself
Everyone knows Persona started at Persona 4 Golden the Animation.
It's worth it to see how Adoorable Minato is when he's sleeping.
Fortunately MC will only really speak when playing through P4's side.
P4 focused more on the group friendship as a whole though, which I liked. You really felt that those guys and girls were friends. The whole watermelon scene alone showcases that.
You know what. You're right. I guess I am over thinking this. Just a simple thing. Probably just comparing him to others who were actually in the story that makes me question it. Thanks Anons
He's a great guy with a heart of gold and a body of stone
He's a good character
He died before he could do something his fanbase might actually dislike. His fans are the kind of people who like someone more the less they know about it.
teenage girls are the same way
Friendship isn't all sunshine and rainbows though. Arguments and fallings out are just as much a part of friendship as having fun and being with people you like. The only time I can remember the P4 crew ever having a genuine argument was during the whole Nametame thing.
> Junpei running off ahead in the train and nearly getting killed
> Junpei yelling at Yukari for making fun of him for being scared of death
> Mitsuru getting mopey and retracting from everyone
> Yukari becoming hostile about MC after he died
> Akihiko's conflict with Ken after Shinji's death
> Ken nearly fucking killing Shinji (and arguably succeeding)
> Junpei nearly betraying the group to be with Chidori
> Ken lashing out at being treated like a kid
It felt like much more of a real group of friends struggling through life than the P4 crew. The worst things that happened to the P4 crew were:
> LOL! We put it on Yosuke's tab!
> OMG! Wacky misunderstandings at the beach LOL!
> Do we kill nametame or not
> HAHA! WOO SKII TRIP, LOL TEDDIE YOU SCARED US
I mean P3 had moments like that too, but jesus christ nothing bad ever happens to the P4 crew, they never fight, they felt like a slice of life characters, because at the end of the day that's what they really were.
And no, "YOU'RE NOT ME" doesn't count as conflict in the group
If you spent time with him or played as the FeMC you got to know him better
He's a really tender guy who likes dogs a lot, he cares about everyone in the team even if he doesn't show it a lot
He loves cooking
And he always carries the weight of killing Ken's mom
I say he's someone
there is a thing called tone, both games have different ones.
P3 is about death and what ever
P4 is about finding your true inner self and fighting for what you believe in
both are good games, have good characters, and are generally fun to play as a whole
>Stating the obvious through blatant cherrypicking
We all know P4 was really lighthearted, who gives a shit? It was still good on its own
>posting deviant-art shit
>taking P3 THIS SERIOUS
Oh wow, I mean sure the premise was much more interesting, but both games are pretty silly, its just that P4 went with it while P3 tried a little too hard
Guys, no Persona 5 at TGS:

> B-b-b-b-but muh tone! P4 is supposed to be slice of life moeshit, that's what makes it so superior to P3's dark emo shitty scary plot :(
high school friend drama was all stupid and childish as fuck though
p3 team had real problems so they had real arguments
p4 team's biggest problem is namatame and they had a real argument about that
if p4's cast spent all their time being shitty and bitchy and not talking to each other for weeks because of boys i would have rooted for adachi
I want EVERYONE in this thread to stop being a faggot.
P3's problems were also grandiose and a lot less palatable to most people. Not everyone thinks about death. Still it doesn't lessen the impact and the game hits hard- it is the better game.
P4 doesn't set out to be anything bigger than it is. It's about a small town full of small people with small problems. Lots of universal themes of accepting yourself and others as well as reality. It was very well done.
I can't imagine you being even more upset.
Do you like extra waifu shit? Do you like Adachi? Are you a poorfag? Vita is a good Persona box/weeb machine and there's lots of games that can justify buying the console. Do the new features in P4G interest you enough to buy it?
Did you play P4 for the dating sim?
any other reason?
Once, I dreamt I was a butterfly. I forgot myself and knew only my happiness as a butterfly. Soon, I awoke, and I was myself again. Did I dream that I was a butterfly? Or do I now dream that I am a man? Yet there is a distinction between myself and the butterfly. This is a transformation of the physical."
I have more
>p4 team's biggest problem is namatame and they had a real argument about that
Their shadows were their issues, you're forgetting. P4 just made those issues only relevant within their dungeon and slink however, so it never seems as though they exist post-dungeon arc nor does any character have much involvement in another's development. In contrast to in P3 where Yukari's development subsequently has her involved with Mitsuru, or Akihiko to Ken.
>P3's problems were also grandiose and a lot less palatable to most people. Not everyone thinks about death.
P3 wasn't solely about death. Junpei's inferiority complex and low self worth, Yukari's dependency and textbook attachment disorder for example are not anything grandiose.
Even if some kind of death may be the root cause, the actual issues the characters face are the complexes they've developed in response to cope are the issues.
It's following that same logic you can find Rise and Naoto's issues to be relatable, despite them being a teen idol and detective.
and P3 is a shitty narutoesque attempt at drama anime, full package with shallow as a spit villains like strega and ikutsuki
see, it's easy
not everyone enjoy slice of life. not everyone enjoy soap opera drama. both games tried to please anyone. just because you masturbate to your P3 cd everyday doesnt make P4 any worse.
uhhh nothin more?
p3 theme is death
p4 theme is searching for the truth
p5 theme is emancipation
there will be subplots sure but the main story will be about that and about that only. sorry, atlus writing ain't that creative. they do great waifus though.
p3's also about time.
Specifically spending your time carefully and the inevitability of time marching on.
That's why the calendar system is so important.
P4 had the calendar thing because P3 did.
> Time is a subplot
> Weather is a subplot
How the fuck do I beat the World Balancer when it starts doing Megidoloans every turn for 400-500 damage when everyone in my team has 300 health? Do I just have to powerlevel until I can withstand it?
>Time never waits.
>It delivers all equally to the same end.
>You, who wish to safeguard the future, however limited it may be...
>You will be given one year; go forth without falter, with your heart as your guide...
You take it like a bitch
Actually at least when I fought it, even though I was underleveled I made a persona who could cast marakukaja and with that I noticed all 4 could barely survive until a mediarahan
>It's following that same logic you can find Rise and Naoto's issues to be relatable, despite them being a teen idol and detective.
Honestly while I think the problems of the P3 cast make for a better traditional story, I find the problems Rise and Naoto had by comparison a lot easier to understand, despite their occupations. Sure, Mitsuru's problems drove the plot, but trying to attone for the destruction your billionaire company has caused in the past is a little less universal.
The game I like is superior to the game you like, because my favorite game has objectively better writing and characters.
Then someone points out that this is a silly argument and that you can like different things, but these people are clearly crazy.
>tfw I'm still trying Nyx at lvl 69
>tfw can't get to Monad because I didn't lvl chariot or emperor
>tfw I think I'm fucked
It's "retweet", indicating it's a reply to something.
Has this been posted yet? Turns out they'll be performing at a convention in Arizona in Jan.
Just dropping by to say that the 1.02 version english patch will be up tomorrow.
This time for both retail and PSN variants of the game (two separate patches).
You still will need CFW obviously and that won't ever change.
Just like real life.
P3 was a lot more realistic in this regard.
If you want to have friends, be prepared to tell people the shit they want to hear, otherwise they won't give much of a fuck about you.
Because that's how reality works.
TRUE friends that don't give a shit about that stuff are one in a million and if you have ONE like that IRL, you're lucky.
>If you want to have friends, be prepared to tell people the shit they want to hear, otherwise they won't give much of a fuck about you.
>Because that's how reality works
And this is how we figure out someone who never had friends in life.
Guys, the PS4 version of P5 will come with a playable female character, homosexual romances and the soundtrack will be replaced with that stupid fanmix that was out a few years ago. Trust me, my brother's girlfriend's cousin is a janitor for Atlus
This post is truly sad, because there's an anon behind these words that truly believe in this.
I hope you find better friends in your life, anon. You must be pretty young yet so it's okay to feel misguided for some years. Just don't keep this mentality.
