When you least expect me, I will be there pitiful Son of Man, to ruin all you hold dear!
But I won't cry for yesterday, there's an ordinary world,
Somehow I have to find.
And as I try to make my way, to the ordinary world
I will learn to survive.
>His team is Kagutsuchi, Lucifer, Metatron, Beelzebub(fly), Overpowered Pixie and finally
>Gym leaders are Fiends
>Starters are Jack Frost for water(King Frost at 16, Black Frost at 36), Pixie for grass(High Pixie at 16, Queen Mab at 34) and Shiisa for fire(Orthrus at 16, Chimaera at 36 I dunno)
Every world, is my world
Any world, is my world
Any world, is my world
Every world is my world
It's easier for him to have a second element, ie Water/Dark or something. I guess King Frost could be Water/Fairy.
Maybe it could be Pyro Jack > ????? > Blackfrost Fire/Ice
Professor Steven: What is your name? Are you a boy or a girl?
Who would you rather have as a starter demon?
*looking down at the comp*
Jack Frost (Ice)
Pyro Jack (Fire)
Fire could be Garm>Othrus>Cerberus
This thing was in Soul hackers right? what is supposed to be?
>And also that fucking snappy
Petite Frost would come before Jack. Then Jacks evolution would be based on what you do with him.
>fire stone evolves him into Pyro Jack
>friendship at night = Jack the Ripper
>moonstone/waterstone is Jack Frost
>same fagging THIS hard
Mechi was a digital pet in Soul Hackers. You could never have one in the original.
Nemechi seems to be a fusion between Mechi and Nemissa considering it's angel forms resemble her true form and it starts out a cute genderless ball.
I laughed when the guy who takes care of them and says you have to treat them well got bit by one.
I really want to do this silly Pokemon romhack now, damn. I don't have any hacking experience beyond doing basic stuff in Pokemon roms, though. All I really know how to do is basic tile/map editing, replacing sprites, editing stats/movesets, dialogue, and trainer battles. And I really don't know if I have the motivation to pull it off.
Mechi so cute.
Gotta watch out for them level 5 Nekomata's. They'll fuck shit up by marin karin your party.
where the fuck is this thing neck?
So who are you going to pick? Hazma should be the rival.
A vampire trying to see where he's suppose to suck the blood.
>not worth the preparation in DDS1
Nigger please. The only time it's not worth it in DDS1 is if you have the horrific misfortune of encountering something like pic related. Good luck getting them all.
Seriously though, all it takes in DDS1 is a bit of luck, Taunt and maybe Dekunda.
if... protags would be an easy choice for the trainer. I could also replace attack names, like:
>thundershock is zio
>thunderbolt is zionga
>thunder is ziodyne
>ember is agi
>tarunda is growl
>sukukaja is agility
That's a lot of spriting work for me, though.
go cream your pants:
Hel is the Demon King of Ice Land. Frostkind lives in fear of Hel's tyranny.
So does Isis and she is the Demon King of Sand Land.
/smtg/, would you buy a COMP in SMT1's style? I'm gonna be an E.E./C.E. in 2 years, so I'd better get to prototyping before I start working for Tayama-like assholes.
>inb4 all you cool kids want to demon summon with iSoul 8's
Yeah, but I think the one eyepiece is a bit silly.
Alright, joking aside, I'm tossing out the idea because although the military would eat up a durable super-tablet, I'm trying to figure out the potential apps it could run as a civilian/law enforcement device - I have the specs worked out, just solidifying the idea. So, basically:
>on-the-fly translation program, using a mic to sample language for a fitting dictionary
>AI intelligent enough to get basic conversation
>always-on wireless net (likely 4G for now) and GPS
>either singular LCD screen in the shape of a monacle that's shockproof, or more transparent (but frail) like google glasses
>battery and barebones PC connected via fanny-pack
>bluetooth connection for keyboard, for acting as an input device to any programmable device (possibly micro-drone surveillance, needs extended range)
>everything a smartphone can do
>mouse interface either shrunk to a nub on the wrist, or track hands via Google tech
You know, I kind of wonder what Coordinate 136's actual purpose was. I mean, the pre-recorded messages pretty much entirely spoil
the whole real heat-real serph confrontation as well as the reason the real world became a hell hole, so it makes me wonder. Is it just an artifact of Sera's own little virtual retreat that she created, before Colonel Beck saw the potential military application?
>on-the-fly translation program, using a mic to sample language for a fitting dictionary
>AI intelligent enough to get basic conversation
Good luck with that.
>battery and barebones PC connected via fanny-pack
>Is it just an artifact of Sera's own little virtual retreat that she created, before Colonel Beck saw the potential military application?
yes, same deal with the cruise ship which is why she got so flustered when they planned to blow it up
For the demographic, this is obviously going to be /g/-tier, and gonna be tough to make work offline, which will double the price to absurd levels for always-on service. So, unless you're an engineer/comp sci sci and make it a general hacking tool, this shit will not be a toy to fuck with. But if the battery goes out, eh, you can shield your eyes with the shockproof monocle instead of Google-fucking-glass.
Have you read how /g/ tore apart Google glasses just for low battery life? Separating the components into "tower" and "power supply" would help tremendously to suit the buyer's needs. Don't need the horsepower of the i7 you can shove down there? Get a TDP-conservative processor. Hate the battery life? Get a bigger battery. Hate the weight you carry? Shrink the battery. There's probably going to be variable models for the eyewear too, so you can choose between glasses/goggles and the monacle.
Maybe in a few years when they finally realize that constantly making new cellphone will run resources dry to the point where they can't make small phones anymore, we'll finally get Arm Terminals
Did they ever figure out that new material that allows batteries to charge to full power in literally 5-10 seconds?
Guys, we need to find the demons first. That said, if enough research goes into the apps and this goes beyond cosplay novelty, I'm hoping to develop software that can crack cyphers, if we get past the point where you can talk to any human native. Therefore, if you give it an alien/demon, talk with it enough and it'll understand basic words, which it'll use for an on-the-fly dictionary. Like I said, I'm expecting this to take a lot of horsepower, so no wimpy ARM shit.
If I'm blowing smoke up my ass, I can at least build an AR-centered console, which I can sell to Nintendo. Win-win.
...gonna be in 2 years?
sophomore in undergrad?
A wrist comp is kind of worthless for military or security use if it impedes the wrist in any way
if it was something that went on your back or was thin enough for a band, and recorded biometrics or something useful, maybe for research, maybe you could get somewhere
or if you hacked together something with raspi and sold it to people who are really into that aesthetic
you could even fuck with the OS to make it like DDS
What's your favorite non-boss battle theme?
Incoming top tier:
oh gosh you're nuts
call beadman, and go study
But imagine, COMPanon and beadman team up, and they collectively become STEVEN and give us the DSP. (or something)
Yeah, currently my first year as a transfer to state college. Haven't really been ambitious with E.E. yet, just know the basics - but if something like this can convince other turbonerds to work with me
unlike my other vidya-esque projectsI have a decent shot at making an invention to patent.
Anyways, I've done some research into micro-keyboards, and found the frogpad. It's short enough to fit on your arm without obstructing your wrist, while having all the essential buttons without resorting to touch screens (trackpads can go underneath the keyboard). And while we're at it, I guess a biometric sensor can be fitted to the temples and the lower wrists to keep track of blood pressure and sweat.
If it goes nowhere, Raspi is definitely feasible. I've almost thought of making a handheld console with Raspi, so as a gimmick it could do well enough to be a one-off that nerds can mod into what they want - after that, all I'd need are royalties.
why are the soundtracks to the DDS games so based
I think I'd vastly prefer a soundtrack similar to P1/2, to be honest. Or just go all out and give us nothing but rockin' guitar riffs. But I doubt something that great would happen because you gotta pander to those filthy otaku, and we all know they dig the j-pop.
It looked more like he was commuting to the city centre from wherever he lived than moving to a new place.
It could be darker at least. Aoki's dead so there's no chance of it being like P1, but Meguro let Konishi and Kitajoh do more for the PQ soundtrack so maybe it'll be more diverse.
I'm still waiting for another SMT game to get me to care about the characters as much as DDS did.
I suppose that in the end, all we can do is wait and see how things will unfold. As much as I disliked most of P3 and P4's soundtracks, they definitely did fit their various contexts quite well.
I'm a little over halfway done with Nocturne as the second SMT game I've played, I'm thinking of moving on to either the Raidou games or Digital Devil Saga. Which one would you guys recommend first?
I'd say Raidou just for a change of pace before DDS since the latter is pretty similar to Nocturne. Raidou vs. The Soulless Army is pretty rough though so you may just want to skip to King Abaddon
The Raidou games are ARPGs, but the first one's a little bit clunky. Great game, just a little clunky.
DDS is pretty much a continuation of Nocturne, mechanics-wise. Takes the press-turn system and polishes it to a fine shine.
Depends on what you want. DDS1&2 are personally my favorite DDS games so I'd recommend them. Both series have pretty different gameplay elements from the main SMT games.
>DDS1&2 are personally my favorite DDS games
Thanks for the responses, I think I'll end up going with DDS first, since I already started out the series on from what I can tell is a pretty odd note (DeSu Overclocked).
My only gripe with this chart would be that Nocturne is probably a better entry point for SMT in general than DDS. At least I figure that's what it's for, since P3 is also at the top.
>he doesn't know about digitaru debiru sutorii
This song still moves me.
Sure. I mean, how dangerous can it be?
Did you simply not watch the opening cutscene of DDS1 or something? Y'know, the cutscene where everyone forcibly transforms, goes berserk and eats EVERYTHING? I mean, you even see Serph chewing on a chunk of bloody meat at the end.
>mfw reading the bit in the solid's base where heat tears a nue in half over his heads and practically bathes in the gore before chowing down
I mean holy shit.
Dammit. Now I want it even more.
>"Heat, stop," Argilla pleaded. "We can't just EAT people! It isn't right!" Heat took a big bite and then smiled a bloody smile. "lol rekt."
>mfw QDS translator is browsing this thread
Think of it as more of an alternate tale of the game.
Like Devil Children Red/Black and its first anime.
That I can.
Don't knock it till you try it, man. Don't forget, the story in the games is not what we were originally gonna get. QDS is the original version.
From what some other anon mentioned in a past thread
Jinana survives going berserk, something else killed the Wolves and it wasn't the Brutes, and Lupa might be the reincarnation of Serph and Heat's old tribe leader.
I was wondering: how chaotic does things get? The game had a sort of soft law and chaos thing going on with everyone being machines working on logic in the Junkyard until the atma virus spreads and then emotions and chaos begins to stir.
>how chaotic does things get?
Here's some food for thought: Gale is a special kind of person in the Junkyard, known as a Bishop. Bishops are the tacticians and are born with all kinds of special shit, as well as specific conditioning. The Atma virus directly contradicts Bishop conditioning to the point where it drives most of the Bishops to madness or suicide, due to the fact that it brings up emotions and makes people act like...well, people. Bishops pretty much are machines, actually. Hell, even Gale's becoming somewhat unhinged due to the conflict between his Atma and his Bishop conditioning.
Jinana survives going berserk thanks to a liberal dosage of Sera's blood, the Brutes did not kill the Wolves and Lupa may indeed be Serph's old Tribe boss reincarnated. Signs certainly point to it.
Wanted to be sure since I added these details to the wiki.
Reading the first chapter on BentoBooks only satiated some of my hunger.
Not necessarily. Data could have traveled from Nocturnes world to the past of DDS. Travel between worlds is incredibly flimsy, especially when it also grants the ability to travel through time.
Yeah, which is why I said for whatever it's worth. Either way, it's not actually Demi-Fiend, just some of his data. I think it's safe to assume that the real demi fiend would be stronger
There's not really a "soul" as western religion and media would lead you to conceptualize it in Hindu/Buddhism.
Given that there can be multiple Demi-fiends, there's no reason to think that it isn't a real demi-fiend.
Somehow Adachi and Marie got not-Kyouji and Hitomi/Nemissa colors but Atlus and Arcsys missed the chance to add more references.
They already missed the boat on giving Katsuya to Naoto earlier and instead gave that to Adachi in Ultimax, so don't expect them to be smart about it.
>Went from Nocturne to SMTIV
>Sukukaja and Sukunda now do absolutely nothing
I don't even know if they kept the "2 turns are lost if you miss/they dodge" thing and I'm 8 hours into the game. Nothing has missed 8 hours into the game. 3 Sukukaja and 3 Sukunda? Nothing. The part where it says evasion boosted must be a bug.
I don't think you understand what the word "trivial" means. If luck plays a large part in one's success, then it's the total opposite of "trivial". Something cannot be "trivially" luck based.
What the fuck happened to 4chan? Since when has it been okay to just grab random words and use them so wrongly?
Yeah I'm the one with shit taste.
I meant that the luck makes combat trivial. Did you go first? Yeah you win unless your NPC casts agi on the fucking minotaur than you get wrecked when he kills you with a smirk. This is objectively worse than the random Death spam in Nocturne. At least I could negate that.
>you'll never see SMT if... with a british voice cast
>CORR BLIMEY, SOME WANKER'S GONE AND SUMMONED DEMONS
>OI, GO FUCK THAT HAZAMA CUNT UP, I DON'T WANT TO MISS 12 O BONG PRAYERS
>"I'll join you if you give me a lifestone." "No" "Well bartering with you is a waste of time, innit?"
>those Jack designs
Holy fuck I would kill to have these as unlockable Nemechi style demons in an SMT game.
>side quest where characters report seeing oddly scary versions of Jack demons
>get into a boss fight with a super tough Jack (Bros) Frost, after which a regular Jack Frost appears and shittalks it
>Same with Jack (Br)o' Lantern
>Jack the Ripper is seen but runs the fuck away from actual demons because he's just a serial murderer, he's not prepared to fight ungodly creatures
Are you saying I'm not scare-hee, ho?
Would you a Lovecraftian monstrosity, anon?
Mah nigga. This should be on everyone's list.
i think KS has too much stigma attached, either for fetishising debilitised girls, for being from 4chan, for having a fanbase two steps away from brony tier, or for just plain shit writing.
babby's first is probably either still fate/stay night, dangan ronpa, homestuck or dogfucker
Hehehe! I am all the Lovecraft you'll ever want, OR need!
Cthulhu can go get himself turned to sushi for all I care! I AM the real deal!
Now, Son of Man. How do you feel about Jokers?
actual cosmic significance has very little to do with a persona's stats and abilities.
plus they could always base the initial lucifer on back before he fell, and was just a cherub of only slight distinction.
through brute force, and by killing a cosmic keystone thingy
Seraph got Brahman to fix the sun and the world just by willing it, then made everyone reincarnate at the same time so they could have a second chance to be friends together, including the two beings that Seraph was a composite of, quite possibly without undoing Seraph's own existence (if I remember what Schrodinger said right)
And then he got the massively powered up Izanagi-no-Okami if he played his cards right, just like MC got Orpheus Telos.
Speaking of which, exactly what significance does Orpheus Telos have? I don't recall Orpheus having being a huge deal outside of music prowess.
Yes, but he also managed to defeat Lucifier. Seraph got brahman to fix the sun by convincing him. It was less Seraph doing it and more seraph getting brahman a much more powerful being than it to do it instead.
he really isn't compared to a lot of other entities.
Let's see if I remember everything
>Favored by Apollo. They met when Orpheus inadvertently killed one of Apollo's sheep, because he needed some gut to string himself a new lyre. Apollo was so impressed by the music that he stayed his hand.
>Wife died. went to the underworld to rescue her, with the archetypal 'don't turn back till you're out' test. Failed. Renounced all gods but Apollo.
>Traveled the world making music, which often enthralled men like some sort of gay pied piper. Eventually a bunch of jealous wifes got together, killed him and cut off his head. His head just kept singing.
The last part is why his design in Persona is wholly robotic below the neck.
the name 'Orpheus Telos' is wholly unique to the english translation of P3 FES and P3P, unlike Hermes Trismegistis which is an amalgam god of Hermes and Thoth, but as for 'telos itself (from the wiki)
>Telos means "end" in Greek. It also refers to an ultimate purpose or intention in Aristotelian philosophy.
well, yeah, but I mean all of them reincarnating at exactly the same time, as humans of the same sex they were in the previous life, rather than thousands of years apart, as animals, demons, and ghouls of some kind.
My understanding of the way it's handled in DDS (and, probably, in the rest of MegaTen, but we've only ever seen people with false enlightenment forced upon them in the greater MegaTen verse so that's neither here nor there.)
Enlightenment implies fully realizing your place in the universe, your relation to everything, and your own existence. This included the relationship between humans and gods/demons. All demons exist because humans believe in them, and how they act is dictated by what humans believe. Once you fully understand this process, you can then dictate how any demon acts if the belief you can muster is greater than the belief of all other humans across the cosmos who also believe in that entity. At the top of this hierarchy of demons is the great will, who has many avatars including Brahman and YHVH.
Of course if you're a data shaman, you can just hack the demons quantum source code manually on the fly, and not bother with amassing stupidly huge quantity of belief. As an enlightened data shaman, Seraph can theoretically redefine any demon ever (except the true Nyx)
Of course part of fully understanding a thing is knowing full well what good it brings, and what bad could come about if you fuck around with it willy nilly.
It was my understanding that Brahman was entirely separate from the Great Will, which is why Satan and the Archangels freak out about the DDS world not being their world. Or did I just misunderstand?
Well most of Lucifer's attacks are almighty anyway, but that's not the point. Point is when people compare feats of DF and other devil summoners, they ignore the fact that latter have to use demons, and individually are far weaker than DF
an aspect of a god can still function as a seemingly distinct entity, with its own personality and motives. In hindu mythology Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva are all aspects of Brahman. Each then have a feminine aspect, who is also their consort, several reincarnations, children, etc etc, all of whom can still be traced back to Brahma, yet are capable of coexisting, interacting, and even conflicting with.
No. I was referring to kagutsuchi as the repair service. The universe was already dead. It transforms into an egg with kagutsuchi at its core in order to grow a new one. The vortex world ends when kagutsuchi dies. Something that is meant to happen in every vortex world. Killing it wasn't as impressive as it sounds. Which is why lucifer sent him to do it not just as a task about that specific world, but also as a test of strength.
The question is what is enlightenment? Have we seen any other characters that have it? Do any of the demons have it? Is it something that it even makes sense to ask if a demon has? Humans can fuse with demons. What happens when they do that? If Jimenez gets reborn as a full demon would he lose a human chance at enlightenment? Is enlightenment alignment based in any way, or can someone of any alignment make use of it?
In Nocturne they talk about how demons are more or less static, but humans have the power to change. This implies that for most demons enlightenment is impossible. also that when Demi-fiend loses his human heart to become a full demon in TDE that he's forsaking any chance for him to gain enlightened.
If I remember correctly, both Law Hero and Meta Gore claimed to be enlightened, but that was a false enlightenment given to them by mere gods rather than something they obtained through understanding. I suppose you can think of it as the difference between learning by rote and having a fluid understanding of something.
addendum to this. In theory, it's conceivable that just as demi-fiend is capable of gaining the heart of a demon, a demon might be able to gain the heart of a human. this could explain the black frost in DeSu, who became a Black Frost after awakening to justice and love, when normally a Jack Frost becomes a Black Frost when it reconnects with its own capacity for evil

Talk to Pascal?
I have a feeling that SMT x FE will be either:
1. FE characters from different games in modern Tokyo with demons and no Megaten characters other than maybe Steven and some classic NPCs like RAG;
2. All new cast that consists of obligatory FE archetypes in modern Tokyo with demons.
Basically, I don't expect to see all those SMT people they showed in the teaser.
Arguably, maybe all enlightenment is a false enlightenment. Maybe that's the point. The high ranking main demons (belial claims this in iv) see the world from a point of view where everything is clear and obvious. And so enlightenment is synonymous with thinking you now see the world from a perspective such as this. Any version of which will still have some limitations. What the more advanced demons have is what humans who follow those alignments in many cases are trying to get. Gaians are trying to become full ubermensch. Messians (the ones who are doing more than just kissing ass anyways) are trying to fully give up the self. Gore thinks he fully achieved internal balance. The point could simply be that enlightenment is not a metaphysical state of finality in the way some things idealistically view it. Its simply fully actualizing into a specific outlook.
Poorfags who use ebay rejoice. Paypal is giving away $5 off coupons for free that last from now until october, and since I'm nice I wanted to share it with you. Use it to get a discounts on some games. Note that if you're using Firefox it'll show you when you open it that its a verified site with the paypal company.
Demi Fiend would probably act like a more socially adept chaos hero. Flynn will probably end up like Chrom, 'people's champion', oblivious, and doesn't really notice how despite all talks of people needing to get along violence is his go-to solution for most problems
it'd be kinda neat if Demi-Fiend went off the reset end, and worked like a manekete. that is, he appears as his normal hoodie self most of the time, and in battle he uses an equipped magatama to transform into his demon body
it's called Amala Midnight. a few other pages are here. don't know if a full digital version is available though.
>this is a rare and powerful artifact said to be able to turn the tides of any battle
>can we use it?
>not us, only those of the chosen bloodline can wield its power
>Fuck it, pawn the thing and put the money into my 'shiny new outfit' fund.
I love how in yuzu's ending you more or less call out that to get rid of god, he was going to give power to a literal god of evil who doesn't even PRETEND to have good intentions, and says he's a mad / raging / violent god, and calls humans "refuse." And he doesn't really have a response. He just wanders away and hopes you win since he realizes his plan was retarded to begin with.
The concept is most definitely not, but the way they're summoned and how they act probably is, especially the further into the series we get.
You're lucky you didn't ask this question on /pg/, by the way. You would've inadvertently generated about 40 posts of pure garbage.
The angels planned on murdering her so the government took her into custody.
The man did believe that the only way to oppose God was to use something that could rival him.
That doesn't make him an avatar of the Great Will. He is the God of DDS, but he is not YHVH or the Great Will.
The Angels do not serve him, and they serve avatars of YHVH and the Great Will. Even an NPC in Nocturne mentions that Metatron is the voice of the universe in Nocturne.
They are similar, but they are not the same thing. Just as Polaris is not YHVH, nor is the North Stars who come before or after him.
I wish smt had more references to pop culture. TFW you will never be able to summon the spider
>fucking your waifu
>not cuddling while listenning to the persona 3 soundtrack
Gameplay wise? no. (psp version)
Music wise? no. (ps1 version)
Everything else? yes.
P1 PSX was the first rpg i ever played and it blew my damn mind, persona 2 i didn't like as much since i do prefer first person dungeon crawlers and the music while still being amazing just wasn't as atmospheric.
Dont agree, the first person dungeons are so much more fun to go through I dont like the 3rd person controls at all
Some people think persona 3 and 4 have better music then P2, its all a matter of musical taste
SMT 1, 2 and KMT all have way shittier gameplay and people seem to praise those games way more just because they're mainline when P1 has better gameplay and negotiation mechanics then all of those
I think it's only mentioned offhand somewhere, but he's cursed to be the mentor for the bearer of the name Raidou Kuzunoha presumably for all eternity.
Remember how in Soulless Army it was revealed he's Raidou Kuzunoha I?
I don't think it's ever revealed what his crime was. Could just be that he picked the wrong side in the conflict between the amatsu and the amano for control of Japan.
I finished 1 yesterday.
Just get a healing demon and use repulse water.
Raidou 1 isn't that bad but if you play 2 first you'll hate 1.
I thought it was a prequel because well i'm meeting Gouto again. The events of King Abaddon taking place before Soulless army?
Disregard the reloading a save from the first game easter egg stuff
>finish Raidou 1
>fed up with it, fights became really monotonous
>thinking of switching to DDS
>try Raidou 2
>Raidou moves twice as fast
>more combat options, two demons
>demon negotiations, fuse at save points
Man they really improved a lot of things. Still itching to play DDS tho.
>Tam fucking Lim as the first demon
>TAM FUCKING LIN
DDS can wait a thousand years.
Everything is so much better holy shit
I didnt expect that answer.
Why are you taking so long?
P2 should have been designed with a first person dungeon. The halls dungeon halls are kind of empty and just require a lot of walking around. Not to mention there's hardly any traps or obstacles besides HP/SP sappers.
I was actually thinking of something like that a while back. that could be great. I got the idea from this poster. something like an 80s punk style influence.
It's just a guessing game on whether a demon likes apples, oranges, pears, or grapes. With a certain amount of RNG thrown in so a demon who normally likes apples might hate apples the first time you give them some.
There's nothing about it that's even a negotiation
If it was your friend who awakened Lucifer in MT2, does it mean that after that Lucy just told him to fuck off?
why does smtg only talk about the few games I haven't played whenever I'm around
>Araki will never work as a guess artist in a SMT game
Also, damned subtitles and tilemaps and everything. Being a hardcore hacker ain't easy.
Holy shit that fucking written accent-speak annoyed the shit out of me in Raidou 2. It wouldn't be so bad if it was maybe one character, but it's literally half the game. That kind of shit made Dragon Quest IV unplayable for me too.
>First things first, if you're using the English translation patch and using an SNES emulator, you'll need to make a save state here. Load up a clean, *unpatched*, ROM and load that save state. Now return to the room where you talked to Law Hero and Haniel, and you'll see an old man. He'll ask you if you want to be baptised into the Messian Faith. Since the text is either gibberish or Japanese, you'll want to chose the top choice (which is "yes"). After the baptism, create another save state and load the English patched ROM back up.
Um, guys, a little help here? Can someone give me a link to a unpatched version?
Can't get nine of the tracks to loop in the P1P music patch, unless somebody knows how to there's nothing i can do. I've tried everything...
Ok, i downloaded the jp rom but loading the save state is not working, should i just murder haniel? Is the ultimate armor really worth it?
I didn't realize there was that much of a demand.
Is that the only game you've played?
Isn't it being done by a bunch of people who don't know how to hack in the first place?
HOW THE FUCK CAN ANYONE GO THROUGH THE SHITTY ORIGINAL HACK WHEN ORDEN'S VERSION IS A STRAIGHT UP IMPROVEMENT IN EVERY SINGLE WAY
Yes I mad.
They indeed were, it's going slower since I'm being distracted by Metro Redux and uni paperwork.
Yeah you're indeed a fucking retard if you think that an optional patch that adds SMT2 shoulder map is bad.
You're one of those retarded hipsters that only play the original broken SMT1 romhack and no other megaten because it's HARDCORZ right?
It's such a small thing though, it doesn't warrant making a fucking blog about it.
I don't have any problems with it though, and I do plan to post it on romhacking but only once it's done. It's near done anyway. I just need to cut some tracks now since they are too long to go under filesize limit, even at 48kbps at3+
