Other 4th is c4 skills, which besides shaped charges is also super situational.

Then drills which again are sitautional, and the worst drill upgrade costs 4/8.

Improved crafting a shit, the rifle skills are really meh. Mag plus is pretty silly and also situational. Headshot bonus is great, but not a skill really.

Basically the only above all great skill it has is bulletproof, and even that isn't really worth acing.

I expected this to be shit when I made it but after actually using it in a few stealth heists I really like it. I still have my CAR-4 if I want to go full blown sneaky but I can pair this with a more accurate silenced pistol and still retain around 6 concealment.

I mean, CAR-4/silenced Loco is still better since that puts me at 3, but I just want some diversity at this point.

I can get to 3 using the Swedish K but the whole point of the pistol is the accuracy. I want something I can use safely if my target is in front of a window. If I'm not bringing a Thanatos, yes I bring my 50 damage CAR-4 with me on DW. I only bring the 45 damage stealth CAR-4 on forced loud days like Big Oil and when I don't trust pubs to not throw grenades while I'm stealthing. Like I said, I can slaughter practically anything that's not a Shield within range and I even do more damage to dozers than the Thanatos carriers. Lots of bullets, plenty of damage. It does plenty of work.

You know what? I think they fucked up the focus too much in PD2. PDTH was all about plan B: each and every heist it had "went wrong", combat was the focus, it was polished and fun.
PD2 on the other hand is now "propah hoist geim m8" and can't really choose whether it's combat focused, penalizes you for engaging in combat, stealth-focused or whatever, and the last thing it feels like is a "heist game".
It's too much of job, most missions are pretty much a routine (get to X via drills/C4/lockpicking and get X to a truck) and much less like a living, chaotic heist.
