His stats are nearly capped in Strength, Skill, and Speed, his Defense is kinda iffy, only 14. Chrom is at a high level and I just said Olivia grinded up to get Galeforce, so her stats are pretty high.
The real problem is that he's an unpromoted unit taking on Lunatic-level Generals and Assassins. In the level you recruit him in. Because, you know, that makes sense.

Problem with Kjelle being a swordmaster is while it does make sense in her recruitment scenario (avenging her master) and with her mother's supports (you refused to train me as a knight) it also means there's only Kellam who starts as a knight and you'll have Say'i, Lon'qu and Owain running around as well. Gameplay wise it makes far more sense to shove into another class, one that the player's don't get many of like, say... knight.
