I don't play sword, but as someone who is already used to having a crapton of aoe (necro), otohime is probably still going to be useful just because the 5-6pp aoe card has to be reserved for otohime or else she gets to occupy the board. Reserving aoe against floral fencer and just sword in general is asking for trouble.

How do PtP fags always have like two copies of the amulet in their last 10 cards? I'll fight a Runecraft who draws half their deck with cantrips and spells, plays Altered Fate down to 3 cards left in deck and THEN dumps 3 PtP on me. It's too low of a chance and stinks of RNG bias, like when they always get an Insight on Turn 1

Other times I'll be "piloting" the Forest PtP deck and almost always have to Altered Fate away another copy of Altered Fate and at least one PtP because my shit draw isn't generating enough shadows, shitsux

I'm not sure why people think that mid-range Sword is going to die and Otohime be useless to be completely honest here. I wouldn't advice new players to craft the deck because there's a chance it dies for real but if you think about it Sword already win versus a lot of classes/decks with clears, the only real problem here is that dragon, which already has a good win-ratio versus Sword, is going to fuck shit up more easily.

So what do people think about today's cards?

Fanatic Idol looks like shit.

Warmaiden's spear looks eeh, just because banner is great because of storm, even at half the cost, it doesn't seem that good. Enabling neutral decks is nice of them.

Scourge looks eeh. 5/7 rush is good, draw a card on kill is good. But 7pp is a swing oriented slot filled with heavy competition due to empress and alucard.

Follower of Darkness, I'm not sure. Curves perfectly into urd and necro, also works perfectly with nep and soul conversion. But 3pp 1/1 that can't trade normally could make it brick badly sometimes. I like the idea, but I'm just unsure about it.

Augite Dragon, I do not know. I don't play disco, but with some of these cards this could be ridiculously good. It could also be garbage. It has the ability to be an absolutely massive draw engine, pull out kits, deal face, all sorts of things. Of course can be all sorts of iffy, but it could be what dragon needs, I do not know. I think it might have potential to save dragon this xpac.

Timeless Witch is good, but I don't know where you could fit it.

Jeeno seems lackluster, especially when sword's getting Amelia.

Forest Spirit seems okay, but honestly, killing everything was not a problem forest ever had.

Paying to win means you can only spend real money to get a certain benefit and if you don't spend real money you will be at a disadvantage. That's p2w.
This unique card art is only cosmetic and the card is still the same. You can still get the cards from the regular packs or craft it directly. This isn't p2w at all. It's p2cosmetics and p2get it more easily but free players are still able to get them from other means.
Also you don't get 3 free cards, you only get 1 and they're not free, you have to buy the pack with crystals.
Get your definitions right before you start bitching about it.

So, about these starter decks, you can't liquify all the cards right?
Because if that's an actual animated legend then buying these instead of packs for real money is going to be value as fuck.

What's the most amount of Crystals can you buy at once?

According to my calculations
If the first alt costs 500 crystals, and the rest are 750 crystals.
And assuming each craft gets 1, which you can buy up to 3 times for 3 copies of the alt,

It'll be 2,000 for the first 3 copies.
And 2,250 for the rest of the crafts.

That'll be 15,500 crystals for 3 copies of each craft. If there's a neutral set, that's 17,750.

I know you can buy 2,400 crystals for $40. I don't know what's the highest amount.
