Infinite Daimon Farming Edition
Tips for new players
You can change vocations at level 10 at the Gran Soren inn or BBI.
Character appearance can be changed later on.
You don't need pawns, but they help.

scather is bad for fighter pawns is a meme right?
what other inclincations can you use?
One more time because seriously, what the fuck is Death saying here?
Okay, I had plans set for later today, so I kinda stopped farming Daimon for those who posted their pawns, but those plans were just canceled, so I can farm Daimon again, unfortunately I have only summoned and farmed with 8 pawns so far since I asked today.
Post pawn name/level/vocation
Also state whether you want Weapon,Armor, or Novelty lvl 3
POST YOUR FUCKING BBI SOUNDTRAX NIGGAS
me please! Lvl 83, challenger/utilitarian sorc
I wouldn't use that pawn even if it was the only one around.
It's so fucking ugly.
>Leave for 3 hours
>Grace finally happened after several days
>35th died as well
>back on an immortal Ur
>farming wight skellies for vocation points
>get hit by miasma, lantern goes out
>get hit by lightning, lantern turns back on
Gabriella you crazy bitch, get off the fucking dragon, you're a mage!
Maybe why my pawns went full retard against death.
This fucker did this now twice to me. I even hit his back and he just fell in the water without returning.
Weapon lv 3 would be best, but I'm good with whatever.
Certainly ain't Sorcs, I haven't seen hires in days. Glad I got some real good hires earlier, otherwise I'd be shilling non stop for some RC.
My guess would be Mages, just on account I hardly see any.
Seriously, every time I get on top of the dragon's heart one of my rented pawns gets stomped and I have to go pick them up. I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing that they're not using the curatives I gave them to hold.
Christ how hard is it for a mage to learn "don't stand in front of the dragon"? Even throwing her in the corner doesn't work for long.
>People always ask for help in DDO
>No one ever takes it
is NG+ harder? I mean at the end here, the game was getting hard enough on bosses, some i completely shat on, but like the goreclops in chains in BBI wrecked my shit HARD at level 52, did not at all feel too powerful for that.
No difficulty change whatsoever. Vendors will sell their expanded inventory from the beginning, you get a stone at Cassardis that takes you straight to Ur Dragon (although you can't use it to access the rest of Everfall) and you can put down 5 more portcrystals in addition to the ones that remain there from your last game.
a few questions. I'm lvl37 warrior, was fighter for about 15-20 levels.I want to build an assassin, should I just switch right now or go for other augments that are worth it? I'd also love to see what skills and augments are best for assassin but can only find gamefaq forums.
I just did the quest where Mercedes gives you her rapier after losing a duel.
Also, is there any benefit to not hiring 2 pawns? Do you get more exp?
I remember we argued.
So, yeah, it's possible to kill a Chimera without killing the snake
Am I doing something wrong or do sorc pawns just suck shit? Because everyone talks about how great and necessary they are but I just never seem to get one that actually pulls its weight, and I'm into BBI 2.0 by now
I search and search for good spell combos and the right inclinations, but it's just rare for them to ever actually get their spells off. Half the time they seem to run around aimlessly, I see spell casts interrupted to dodge attacks that clearly are nowhere near them, regularly not giving me holy vs mobs that are weak to it, etc etc. Hell I've had a number of sorc pawns with good inclinations that just randomly fucking climb shit for absolutely no reason.
They also seem to somehow not know their range. IE if I'm above a chained gorecyclops and using bow skills on it they routinely just stand right next to me doing nothing..even though its clearly in range if I'm hitting it.
When they DO get a full bolide off it's nice as hell, it just seems so fucking rare that its almost not worth it to me.
allright, thanks! Does it make stuff alot harder? Would you recommend it? Cause i don't really feel like the game is too easy, some vocations can shit on some enemies more than others, but some bossfights are still fairly difficult, and i don't really find it enjoyable if the only thing that changes is that i have to minmax more and bring buff items. Does it make it more fun, or open up anything else?
I feel like the batman when i fight unarmed wearing this
Sorc AI is pretty fucked but when they do get casts off it tends to be amazing
Honestly if Sorc AI wasn't fucked they'd straight out be OP. At the very least bring them for high halidom
what is your vocation? It really helps sorc pawns if you have an ability that taunts, or if you hire a warrior / fighter that can war cry / shield drum respectively. Keeping the baddies off them long enough to get a cast off does great. Also, go for pawns that have quicker spells and only one or two long-cast spells if you can muster it.
I got your breed right here m8
My sorcerer has like 60 or so hires and has made me over 1 million RC. Only ranked 1000 or so. I use grand fulmination, high miasma, high voidspell, high maelstrom, high gicel, high bolide.
Basically you'll be looking at these changes:
>Increased stamina use, varies by skill
>450% more damage taken by Arisen in main game
>225% more damage taken by Arisen in BBI
>Harder to knockdown or stagger enemies
>No changes for Pawns
>Double xp gain
>Increased gold drops in main game
You can gain some special gear if you clear to NG+ in Hard, and that's about it. It's not a particularly fun challenge, it only matters if you're melee for the most part and then in only the worst way. Only reasons I run Hard Mode is because I'm used to it by now, and the double xp translates to double RC for any pawns I rent.
i did a fighter pawn and main and im level 51, just having beat the wyrm hunt
its fun, the hardest part is the meme sword and shield bandits that probably killed me 30+ times
>Go into BBI for the first time after my NG+ dragon kill
>Get into the first courtyard
>"Sometimes when you kill enemies..."
>Fuckhuge dog turns up
>I use all my charms
>Grind it down over the course of 10 minutes
>Turns around out of nowhere
>100% > 0% immediately
aaaaaand I'm done.
The rest of the game was great fun, equal amounts challenge and exploration, BBI just seems like an asian grind with no real value.
Still got 40+ hours out of it.
D R O P P E D
It is, and it is.
Incidentally, the double xp and gold drops are why Hard Mode is actually Easy Mode if you start at level 1. Once you get past the ridiculous one-shotting, you'll out-level everything in no time then march to the Greatwall to spend your dosh and smash the main game.
As for BBI, it's just tedious. I actually min/maxed my defense to be able to do Melee Hardmodo, which is another reason I stick with it. On Normal I'm not sure if anything could really scratch me.
That was the worst fight ever. You're all fucking fired.
It's basically the first third of Diablo 1, except the gameplay is awesome. If you like Diablo you'll love BBI and wish there were more.
Doubtful, magick absolutely fries you even worse than usual with it.
Kinda want to do a Brutish Wall or Brilliance build with Fighter or MK respectively, but with the Wall it seems like best case scenario (with some elemental resist Master Rings) I'd still have one or two elements that insta-kill and with Brilliance I'm not sure the Striking/Piercing resist can get high enough to make it worthwhile.
About to go tackle the Griffin, among other things. If you've got a Sorcerer or Mage around lvl 40, gimme their name and I'll take them for a spin.
>tfw someone hires your pawn and gets that one pixel of Gransys you missed
oh my god I nearly ruined my pants with the amount of cum that erupted from me when I saw that this morning.
Hey guys, if you're interested, I made a spreadsheet organizing all of the quests/sidequests for a fresh run, and a path to take from start to end. I didn't see anything similar since I started playing like 2 weeks ago, so hopefully it helps someone out
All you need for Awakened Daimon is 4 Conqueror's Periapts and 20 Blast Arrows. Pop 4 perries when the battle starts, fight as normal. Equip the blast errors when he goes to use his vortex, give it a couple of seconds, then Tenfold him once or Fivefold him twice.
Do that again when he fully enters his recovery pose and you've practically won the fight. Minimal blast error usage, minimal cheese.
Has your levels changed? I don't see you
Doing you guys now, and wow, your Vergil looks great!
Also if anyone has any gear lvl 1 that they are not using, can you PLEASE gift it to me?
I know the level is kinda high, but if you are near it can you gift me it, if I get a magick bowmans ring from one of them, it can make farming a whole lot easier for me, and benefit everyone
Oh yea, I used that extensively. The layout just made it a little difficult for me to figure out what to do and when, or if a quest had no real rewards to it or not.
For instance, my first playthrough, I did lost and found first, then escorted the Hydra head, but had no idea that Dying Curiosity should've been done at the same time, which only becomes available after escorting it, things like that
I know, I just don't like the fight.
I fight Daimon 1.0 as usual, love the flying kung-fu. But 2.0 is just a floating spell-slinging damage sponge, I only deal with him if I want the chests or to give out RC. My idea of fun is Fallen City or Sparyard or the Incense places all without Blast Arrows, tbqh.
weapon if possible
>metal golem punches away 1/3rd of my hp
>puts me in near death
>my augments activate
>his attacks now don't hurt me at all
Is this actually how a 50% increase in defense works or is there like a hidden evasion stat or what?
>enter Rotunda of Dread
>6 Eleminators and 3 Elder Ogres
top kek m8
Here's a new pic, maybe I missed something.
Is Dragon's Ire any good?
Seeing how the defense system works in this game, it seems like the combined values of both the physical attack and the magick attack won't really add up very well, especially not since it's a Strider bow.
I know I am a scrub
Can someone high leveled who has a mage pawn that is commonly summoned tell me their spells, inclinations, etc?
I really need my pawn to be better and summoned more commonly
I'm of the opinion that people would not hate Awakened Daimon if he didn't have such ridiculously high defenses, or if the fight was just different. Having his chest-face be the only weak point on a floating entity that can spam spells fast enough to make a Sorcerer jealous just isn't fun. At least yellows have it easy >>130579195
Right or left? Alternatively, other suggestions?
Trying not to go full riftslut, although I feel like left strays pretty close.
I had many a 5-Star rating with:
High Ingle, High Comestion, High Levin
High Anodyne, High Halidom, Holy Affinity
Sinew, Beatitude, Stability, Attunement, Articulacy, Acuity
i prefer left, i don't mind riftsluts as long as the total look is good and some effort has been put into the character, skills and inclinations
i've always been a fan of high fantasy, which means ridiculous female armors
Shilling of some sort is the best route, assuming all else is in order (skills, inclinations, resists if relevant).
But you don't have to go begging, you can shill by making friends off of /ddg/ and trading rents for example.
good skills, good inclinations, enhanced gear, good looking gear, good looking pawn
shill in /dgg/, but not so often that it becomes obnoxious, that will have an opposite effect
I'm going off of the attitude I see a lot of /ddg/ having, with any more than a few inches of exposed skin anywhere being full riftslut.
I also have a huge hardon for dark skinned musclefus so i inherently look at that and my boner whispers "riftslut" to me.
I know what you mean, sadly that leg set (11 or 12) makes the ass fucking enormous. But I like hips, so it's an okay trade.
The consensus right now seems to be leaning towards the left.
Might work, it's a real shame all my friends who got the game played it on the 360, they're burned out and aren't playing 8 hours a day so I'm...pretty quickly outpacing them, and doubt they'll end up wanting to pay all dem rift-bux for my pawn
>take Grigori's bargain, sends you to Retry screen
>pussy out and accept Seneschal's offer, sends you to Retry screen
>intentionally (because it pretty much has to be intentional) lose to Seneschal, become Dragon, sends you to Retry screen
>defeat and become Seneschal, mcfucking killyourself, true end get
Four endings in one playthrough, actually.
Asura armor and 2x Perseverance Rings, then cleanse South/Southwest Gransys via goblin genocide.
>not so often that it becomes obnoxious
Not that guy but where would you draw the line?
Hires have slowed down for me and I want my Pawn to get more monster knowledge, but I don't know how often I should post her here.
once every other thread maybe? i don't know anon
i usually shill once when i wake up, and once before i go to sleep, and maybe every few threads
and i keep attention for people hiring pawns for BBI runs and offer up my pawn then, a lot of friendly people around
if you shill too much anon will probably let you know
S-sorry anon, scather here. This is my second playthrough, and my previous one my scather (on the spreadsheet around row 220, Vaal) wrecked shit and I got a lot of great feedback, and people added me saying she was a great climber and shit. I'm hoping this one can surpass that.
>faggot wyvern hovers over water
>hit it with Great Cannon, knocking it into the water
>Brine kills it, giving me EXP
>still fail the Ambush! quest because it somehow didn't count as a kill
yesterday i decided to get my Arisen strider ranks from 1-9, went to the noble quarter post-game, aggro'd guards, climbed on top of wall, went to sleep for 2-3 hours, when i woke up i was rank 9
you only get 78-ish xp per guard kill so you're unlikely to gain levels there unless you're at it too long
I missed the duke ending because i was playing blind for the main game
Eh, i'm gonna do a second playthrough on hard mode anyway
About The Hero achievement, am i right in assuming any quest i've done on my first playthrough already counts and i dont need to redo them, and just do the ones i missed?
Hye, that is pretty cool, I saw you post that earlier today I think
I like it, but I think the Madeleine quests, although aren't necessary, are important to do.
Switch her quests to a yes and I will add to the op maybe.
Well, I guess it really isn't important but, I kinda regretted it when i didn't do them
I'll add it to the op regardless
>nexus is bad
I have to pickup a lot of dumb people's pawns. What should I swap her to?
She's also a master sorc, but people supposedly don't like sorc pawns for some reason...
Of course it does! We go through at least 5 or so everyday which is pretty cool
idk senpai, you just don't appear for me
Ima try this out, my mage only seems to cast Anodyne and Holy Affinity
This is spot on what I have
Can you find aelinore face slider btw?
>install waifu mods for my pawnfu
>find out much later that it gets your pawn banned
>someone is working on a 4k HD face/body retexture for male and female
>99.9% of PC players will get banned
>all pawns will be removed
How does it feel knowing waifu mods will literally kill this game?
How does it feel knowing Me, Ophis, and my Main Pawn are running trains on yours and you can't revenge-hire?
So guys what do I use my second moonbeam gem on ?
Actually, if you played Sorc from 51-110, you are pretty fucking set for a MA
I played Strider from 1-15, then played MA from 15-35, Sorc from 35-50(I think it was less than 50) and now 50-160 as a MA
So I got some shitty magick yet I am here killing both Daimon forms under 2 minutes farming for everyone
Something that just came to me now, is that I just realised that all of those bodies you see on your first run through BBI, the ones that are glowing, are those the bodies of other Arisen who were drawn to there, and died?
>find out much later that it gets your pawn banned
Unless those waifu mods involve editing stats or equipment to have impossible values, then this is not true.
Pawns don't get banned for retextures, they only get banned if their owner goes full retard with CE.
So all the pawns figured out pretty quickly to hit metal golem medallions though they ALL prioritized fighting the golem over hitting the medallions unless I ran the fuck away and started beating on one
The hanging medallion was a doozie, the ranger would only shoot it when the golem was on the other end of the zone.
We finally won when my pawn distracted the golem for around 10 seconds by crawling on it while I stood near the medallion and made sure it was the only thing in my field of vision and spammed 'Go!'
The ranger then focused it and took it out effortlessly
To be fair I don't think any of them had metal golem knowledge before the fight
It really depends on what bow you're already using. Gonna be worse than Darkening Storm, but it would be better at the Dragonforged level compared to Dragon's Rancor. Gets worse once silver or gold rarified though.
I think there are 4 Madeleine quests; Guard Duty, Chasing Shadows, Supplier's Demand, and Bad Business.
Guard Duty isn't required as she will appear in Gran Soren regardless of completing the quest. Chasing Shadows is necessary for her to start her shop. Supplier's Demand only upgrades her stock. Bad Business increases affinity with her and changes her location in Post-game.
Out of all of those, I think Chasing Shadows is really the only required one to get her shop open, maybe Supplier's Demand as well, but I think that would best be done in NG+. Would you prefer that all 4 of the quests be highlighted green, though?
>and I will add to the op maybe
That'd be awesome! I really appreciate the thought. I'd like to keep editing the sheet based on feedback until I get a nice layout and walkthrough going too
i just killed a giant eye in bitterblack and I really need to go back to the girl to uncurse some stuff
do I have to fight back through everything or is there like a waypoint or something I could port to
Oh yeah, you are good, my magick is I think at like 400 or something, same with my atk, but I still destroy
But honestly gear is always more important than anythingm but with that MAgick you have, that will surely make a difference
I think the Blackwing Bow which is the best Magick Bow in the game does over 2000 magick damage I THINK when gold rarified
They don't have to be all green I suppose, just as long as chasing shadows is, that is truly the most important, and I'll add it inbetween the sidequest and the beloved links
No as in none of my friends or anyone here can find her or summon her.
A friend wanted to pass on a bb novelty 3 and couldn't find her to summon her.
This pawn doesn't exist, did you use waifu mods by chance?
I was going to summon her and give her a pretty dress.
Just got the game and didn't think to check the general before istarted, mostly because i wanted to explore the game for myself. I failed the quest Lost & Found, is there a mod so unfail it, or is there any other option besides starting over or New game+?
I always thought that it was a hugely important quest, but realistically, it isn't
I mean, if you aren't too far in the game already, I would restart, but if you feel like you are far, don't
You miss out, on I think like, 3 or 4 quests, and I am not sure if by not doing the quests, you affect your chance of doing Quinas quests
If this is true, then this game is cooler than I thought, I always saw people saying things related to this, but I always thought they were just some memes
is fighter really that bad for BBI?
also what inclination will get me hired
> after my NG+
Guess what faggot NG+ doesn't matter because it changes nothing difficulty-wise unlike hard mode.
Fucking Soulsbabby detected, which is amazing because IMO, DD is easier that Souls games although saying this will get me lynched ITT.
Weight / Category / Carry Capacity / Stam. Recovery / Stam. Use / Knockback Resist
< 50 kg / [SS] / 40 KG / 18 secs / 110% / None
50-69 kg / [S] / 50 KG / 19 secs / 105% / Small
70-89 kg / [M] / 65 KG / 25 secs / 100% / Moderate
90-109 kg / [L] / 75 KG / 29 secs / 95% / High
> 110 kg / [LL] / 100 KG / 34 secs / 90% / Highest
Walking Speed - related to height
At 140 cm = 1 min 05 secs
At 174 cm = 53 secs
At 209 cm = 42 secs
Dash speed is always the same regardless of height (24 secs over same distance)
Damn that is awesome
I got most of the people who requested I farm Daimon with their pawn I think
So, the ones I didn't get I couldn't find you
You probably leveled up or something
So if you want a summon for Daimon farming post pawn name/level/vocation and what item you want from him, this time instead of weapons, armor, or novelties lvl 3, I'll let you pic something he drops too!
Just no gear lvl 3 though
>eye window and boob window
it's like poetry, it rhymes.
Friends [list] don't pay anything for each others' pawns regardless of level difference; it was the same way on the consoles.
>1. sprint Rook to Encampment/Hydra/whatever triggers Olra appearing on Cassardis dock
>2. mad dash through first few BBI rooms to get first Moonbeam Gem
>3. go back to Duskmoon Tower, get Ring of Perseverance
>Save, Exit to title, use Hard Mode switch to soft NG+
>see 1-3, then switch back to Normal if you want
Two Rings of Perseverance within an hour or so of starting even your first playthrough if you were so inclined. Now I'm actually a little disappointed I didn't think of this when I started.
>first BBI lvl3 I purified was Boots of Oblivion with +20kg carry capacity, exactly what I wanted
Of course this means it'll take forever to get my Revenant Wail but at least I can stay sanic-fast beyond my weight tier's initial overburdened capacity.
Anyone want to hire my pawn?
She's scather challenger with a rusted bow. I really need the rc
Is this the fastest way to traverse all the levels of Everfall?
There's no way to teleport to individual floors right?
I'm having some trouble deciding on slots for magic bow skills
obviously six-fold is a mainstay
but I have two slots to fill for 4 skills: hunter bolt, explosive rivet, vortex trail, and ricochet hunter
to help me I got a couple questions
how big of a monster does vortex trail affect and how many bounces does it take for ricochet hunter to be really powerful
>tfw one of the hired pawns had unusually pleasant voice
>due to the depth I assumed it's the black barbarian
>turned out it's hers
>turned out it's his
And I only recognized now, when I'm literally in the middle of hiring new ones. We spent together 3 or 4 in-game days. Damn.
Having a lower encumbrance lowers the stamina cost of running and climbing. Actual character weight has no impact on stamina consumed through running, climbing, or skills. It also doesn't affect stagger or knockdown resistance. Check the science document.
Sixfold, Explosive Rivet, Ricochet
Dagger: Hundred/Thousand Kisses, Immolation, Magick rebalancer
Literally ONLY ever use these spells, no need for the other ones.
You can switch Immolation out for the once that dashes forward, can't think of the name of it atm
Trust me, this is the best, I have been farming Daimon with it all day
Is this better? She's 48 btw.
Please hire her, she's never been hired once.
oh I defintely plan to put on ricochet when I get to BBI and probably even the everfall, but right now I'm off to fight Grigori
also I checked the wiki and it says
>The pull of Vortex Trail is very strong and can even pull Golems into its radius.
holy shit is this true? what else can it hold down?
>encounter this faggot
>got fucked by his balanced bullshit circle of one-shotting
>never used spell tomes so decided to try them
>hit his dragon with a shattered earth spell once
>it just dies
>the bishop just falls down leaving him open to stabbing to death by me and my strider pawn
And sorcerers have this shit on demand
I'm only capable of using 27 and 28 personally. I've seen others have luck with other faces but I wonder about the side profile of those characters.
No idea, but if you re-enter a room carrion-feeding monsters like Cursed Dragons and Gram can be seen eating the rotting flesh in the floor.
My understanding is the person who made it collected a bunch of raw data (i.e. get hit, check damage, get hit, check for consistent damage, change gear, get hit, check for delta in damage, et cetera) then loaded the data into a program like MathLab to generate a formula that accounts for the data.
This is it /ddg/, Im gonna do it! This drake has been hounding me since i first met him at lvl 20. I'm lvl 48 now and I've come back to enact divine retribution. I will return with reports of my unrivaled success!
>got fucked by his balanced bullshit circle of one-shotting
Just move out of it?
I never killed that drake until I was 100+
I would always get it down to its last health bar, and then I would die because I would always attempt to revive my pawns
>Change vocs to Sorc for my Pawn; Get Sanguine Stalk right off the bat
>Change vocs to Fighter for MK's Virge; Get Devilsbane instead
>I'm okay with this
>Eventually go Assassin; Get Darkening Storm
>Later swap to Fighter for some Warrior stuff; Get Dread Aspis and Devil's Nail
>Don't really give a fuck about anything else
I really lucked out this playthrough. I remember struggling on console to get shit.
4 periapts + liquid vim + fivefold flurry down the tight staircase
My greatest problem with Fallen City is those two fucking smug-ass thunderwyverns that spawn along, fly away, land on roofs, and spam spells including lighting stuns with their bullshit infinite range
Not sure what you mean but remember to adjust the face parts vertically when trying out all the faces, 28 for instance needs that five-head to look decent, 27 uses parts one notch upwards. Not sure about the rest since I feel like their side profiles might look off.
>Not sure what you mean but remember to adjust the face parts vertically when trying out all the faces, 28 for instance needs that five-head to look decent, 27 uses parts one notch upwards. Not sure about the rest since I feel like their side profiles might look off.
Okay, trying this.
>just spent 400k upgrading my bow
My inner jew is dying right now, how do I earn this money back guys?
NG+ adds suppression notice board quests that give 500k+ each
also sell rings from BBI
>her fucking expression
>"What the fuck, man?"
I like how some of those can sound like inter-pawn banter if they randomly occur one after another
>There's no way we could have lost to that!
>What did you expect, with my help?
>I only hope we can survive the next encounter...
Check the pawn list I guess? Lots of Sorcs, including mine, don't run an affinity because we'd rather a Mage handle that... but you should be able to find a few for people who don't run Mages.
Swapped her to utilitarian primary and challenger secondary too. Think she'll get some hires now?
I think splits can be good sometimes if you're casting Great Cannon / Ruinous Sigil / Stone Forest often, otherwise stick with pure physical. It depends on what you're fighting though.
You trying to find her casual clothes for the player? I thought about asking bes about that but figured it wasn't worth the effort.
Acquire 3 dragon eyes
Go to Everfall
50 wakestones = 1.5 mil gold
Alternatively if you're late enough in BBI, just purify level 2 weapons/armor and sell them.
>RC is the only thing you should care about
My millions of riftbux and me are laughing at you
>the seat of god lies beyond
What did he mean by this?
switch bolide with comestion, or whatever that life of fire is called.
Switch fulmination with levin.
Switch seism with miasma.
also change your pawn's look from anything other than a she-gollum
nothing wrong with that, not everyone want's to be forced to bring a mage into the group just for affinities
anodyne is useless and halidom can be replaced with curatives, thus the mage can be replace with something useful that actually does damage instead
It's more that lots of people don't really want a Sorc wasting time on Affinities when they should be flying the Enola Gay instead.
AFAIK, people that don't run Mages just go without the affinity instead.
I guess but I have problems with my Sorcs going full retard in the best situations and having them Manage buffs as well kills me inside
If only I could just take their weapons like with rangers
I swear this game is being extra shitty today. Plowing my way through BBI 2.0 again for "fun" and the game has decided to throw nothing but rooms full of flying enemies, physical immune enemies and death every other fucking room while I try and play warrior. To top it off I've watched pawns repeatedly throw themselves off cliffs when in no imminent dangers about five times already. Ever just have one of those fucking days? What class should I switch over to so I can be done with this horse crap, mystic knight or mystic archer?
I thought fighting dragons would be fun, but after fighting a small one in some forest it just left halfway through his healthbars.
No matter how many times I see it, I'll always smile at the eternal circle of people calling Mages useless but then turning around and saying you shouldn't put affinities on Sorcs either.
>Ever just have one of those fucking days?
>Trip over some junk in the hallway while taking out cat litter
>Bag rips and spills dirty litter
>Have to vacuum it all up
>Kid runs around outside, trips and scrapes his knee
>Tend to that
>Only get half the crap I wanted to do done on account of those things
Pretty minor shit, but still I'd rather be playing some BBI tbqh.
Well the whole affinities thing is easily solved by carrying two weapons
And curatives aren't really in short supply so I'd rather have even one big spell over a mage 9/10 times
Barely anyone knows what they're talking about when it comes to pawns
Fortunately the game is easy enough that pretty much anything is viable and everything just comes down to battling memes
Guess you're right.
Replace her clothes with something that does this but without the missing verts. Surely there's something.
>dropping seism for miasma
You don't like white elves?
I did attack the heart and I was actually killing him. But he just up and left halfway through.
Isn't the whole central theme dragons in this game?
I'm lvl 46 and the first time I'm fighting a dragon, he just fucking goes away.
If I don't even get to kill them, what's the point?
As an aside, this is actually why I take a Mage.
>Carry a bunch of curatives and panaceas, along with spare weapons on top of everything else
>Or... just the minimum amount of curatives while letting the Mage stacked with Spring Waters handle the rest.
Not gonna deny that running a fourth DPS is more efficient, but damn having a Mage sure is convenient.
Rolling deep with the squad. Drowning in pussy and Riftsheckles.
anyone using those alt. magick archer/knight mods on nexus? one of them is in hot files, thought someone here might be using them.
>tfw those robes are proper nice but fuck yellow
matte robe it is then
Basically, the way I see it is that you're only ever going to need so much DPS after you're finished covering all your bases for both physical and magical. At that point, I don't see what's wrong with bringing along a mage just for all the convenience that comes with it.
>>130588479 gets me.
I changed my mind, delete this. Leave my waifu alone.
You will probably get slain by death though.
Best way is to grind Rotunda of Dread or just do it the ol' fashioned way and AFK in Post-Game Noble Quarter.
Rotunda gets you a lot of levels though so it'll probably fuck your stat growth if that's your thing
You should also get the DP increase rings they'll gut the time in half if you get two
I'm conflicted. This is how my pawn normally looks (yellow). The picture to the right is how she looks with gear that gives her much better defenses and resistances. I feel like the Adept's Hat is overused, but it has a useful skill and goes with the Grave Mantle.
make her utalitarian primary
replace thunder affinity with holy
rank her up with sorc to get the articulacy augment (faster casting), replace inflection with it since it's bugged
I can't see what staff she has but give her legion's might if she doesn't
make her white
What's in the Rotunda? I thought it mostly spawns shit like drakes, chimeras and cyclopes. As in, shit that'll give way too much exp.
Nowhere near the post-game, lads.
>save right near the gathering spot
>reload if not kunai
I mean, if you consider reloading saves cheating then I don't see a reason for you to farm for kunai, you'll get much better knifes really soon
>"Dont let them turn you to stone!"
Alright /ddg/ I think I am done farming Daimon for people today.
It was lots of fun, and I feel glad I helped.
Sorry to anyone who wanted me to summon, but I didnt, I think I was only able to summon and farm with 14 pawns unfortunately.
This Hellfire Cloak was the only interesting thing I got today.
I can finally be reunited with my crew
Speaking of POST CREWS
Run fine in 2k with a MSI r9 390x
if the sorc only has one affinity type (holy), and no other buffs you can force her to buff you before initiating combat by pressing F3
keeping utilitiarian as hidden inclination or secondary at the very highest should also keep them from turning into buffbots
Sorcs spend 90% of their time running in circles and jumping to cancel spells anyway, they're more like a group mascot that nukes once in a while
It does, but it's easy as shit to farm and the spiders and snakes outside re spawn as well so you can kill them too
There's not too many places that are good, but you can just run through BBI normally and get some pretty good ranks
Speaking of death, any good tactics for him beyond Blast Arrow spam?
Back on console I'd Arc loop him as a Warrior, don't recall having any luck with Stone Forest or Jungle and sure as hell couldn't do it on Hard with Forest on PC. Might have to get the ring for Jungle and try with double Nails.
But uh... I'm at a loss for how else to deal with Death without getting pawns scythed. Pretty much comes down to initiating a KD loop as far as I know.
