I just now drew MHX and spent most of the event waiting on AP to regenerate. Still I have over a dozen hearts, talons, and scales and Lily fully leveled and her NP fully upgraded. All without ever breaking 1,000,000 points.

Nasu straight up said it partly followed a FSN route, and excludes it from his alt universe talk.
The story as a whole is not from any route, and the epilogue is total bullshit fanservice, but the start leads on directly.
